22 A Clue

Kakashi's POV

I went home after the council meeting we had about Mitsuki, and I found the house empty. There was no trace of Kimui's chakra and I started to have a bad feeling at the pit of my stomach. I rushed into the house and ran to Kimui room to find it empty except for a note on the bed. Kimui you better not run away. I thought as I picked up the note and opened it.

Dear dad

First of all I didn't run away. I went with Boruto and Sarada, we're going after Mitsuki to find out about his will. I'm sorry if I worried you but I promise I'll be back with the others soon. I know the consequences of leaving the village without an order so you could maybe not lecture me about it when I come back. -Kimui-

I finished reading the note and looked at the time trying to decide whether I should or not tell Naruto now. I'll tell him tomorrow I can trust Kimui. I thought and got ready for bed.

Kimui's POV

We stopped on a branch and looked around. "Did we get lost already." Boruto exclaimed. "Come to think of it we are not at the same place I went with my Dad." Sarada said. I bit my finger and summoned Hana to help us out. "Hi Kimui how may I help you." She said. "Wait you can do summons?" Sarada and Boruto asked in unison. "Who did you think send you guys the summoning in Kirigakure.

"Right Boruto, Sarada this is Hana and Hana this is Boruto and Sarada." I said giving a quick introduction. "Anyways Hana I need you to sniff out the location of orochimaru's hideout." I said. We jumped forward for a couple of minutes and stopped. "I smell almost 25 jonin in this area this is it." Hana said. "Thanks Hana you can go now." I said casually and she went away. "So 25 jonin what are we going to do." Boruto asked.

"I have a plan but we need a diversion." Sarada said. We made a plan and Sarada became the diversion being the one that could match Mitsuki's skill the most. While Sarada distracted the jonin as Mitsuki, me and Boruto sneaked into the hideout to find orochimaru.

"Boruto what are you doing just standing there." I said after checking most of the rooms to find Boruto staring at something. I walked up to him and tapped his shoulder which surprised him and he stepped back and tripped and fell to the ground. I was confused by the way he was acting and turned to where he was looking to see a smaller version of Mitsuki. My eyes widened.

I sensed danger and turned around and blocked a sword which was aimed for Boruto's neck. "Smart move kid." A man with white hair and teeth pointy like a shark said. "Nice to meet you" Orochimaru which I noticed said stepping out of the shadows. "A-Are you Orochimaru. Boruto asked and I internally face palmed and deactivated my sharingan.

"It's Orochimaru sama and I'm Suigetsu." Suigetsu said. "He looks exactly like Mitsuki, isn't he your child." Boruto asked. "Everyone of them is Mitsuki." Orochimaru said. "How can you be so calm aren't you worried." Boruto said again. "There's no need to worry." Orochimaru said. Boruto was going to say something more but I smacked him on the head making him whine in pain. "Ouchie." He said. "Stop asking dumb questions Boruto, we're here for a reason don't you think." I said irritation evident in my voice.

Kakashi's POV

"We might actually have a bigger problem." I said after we talked about Mitsuki at the council meeting. "And what is that Kakashi." Lady Tsunade said. "I found a note on my daughters bed regarding that they as in Sarada Boruto and Kimui are going after Mitsuki." I said casually. As soon as I said that a jonin came bursting into the room. "Hokage sama, Boruto and Sarada have not returned home." The jonin spoke.

"Well if those three left we have to send out a team for them immediately." Tsunade said. "I'll send team ten with Moegi in the morning." Naruto replied. "Sending them sooner would be a good choice having the jinchuuriki out of the village without being under any supervision is very dangerous." Homura said. And Lady Tsunade got a tick mark.

~Time skip to the night~

Kimui's POV

"We can camp out here it's safe away from the jonin." I said as I deactivated my sharingan. "I can't believe you guys want to rest at a time like this." Boruto said pouting a little. "Well either we keep running and run out of chakra before we get to the ruiyu caves, or we rest and regain our chakra and be ready for any attacks cause Konoha will soon be sending a team after us." I said to get rid of all the wining. "Goodnight you guys." Boruto said as he lied down on his sleeping bag. "Yeah Goodnight." Sarada said. I also lied down trying to keep calm of all the dangers that might be lurking.

Nightmare/Flashback

"Hey sweetie are you leaving already." Baasan said as she saw me pack my bag.

"Thanks for saving me Baasan, but I have a place I need to get to, so since I'm healed I'll be leaving now." I said taking a bow. "No need to thank me dear now be careful on your way alright." She said.

I ran for three hours and it was getting dark so I stopped to camp out. I set up camp and relaxed after I got enough water and got the fire set up. I fell asleep resting on the trunk of a tree.

I woke up and it was morning, I walked down the path heading towards the village hidden in the sand. Until I was stopped by a group of people surrounding me. "Hey what's a kid like you walking alone around a place like this huh." One of the men said. "What do you want." I said keeping my voice emotionless as always. "Acting so tough I bet you can't even fight you little girl." The same man who I believe was their leader said.

They attacked but I was much faster. I dodged all of their attacks and slashed everyone of them until someone out of their gang came and I looked at her curiously. "Kirai Shimura." I said anger evident in my voice. "I'm quite surprised you stopped calling me Onēsan like an innocent child who didn't know anything." She said with a smirk. I took out my Hair clip transforming it into a chakra blade.

"I'm not here to fight not yet at least. I'll offer you a deal come with me and use your skills in the association I'm working at, or well, you'll see." She said evilly. "Like I'll ever." I said. And soon as I said that someone grabbed me and Kirai came and put a needle to my neck. "Well I suppose I'll see how you'll turn out soon." She said and I felt liquid go into my veins before I pass out.

Nightmare/Flashback end.

I jumped up with a startle luckily Boruto was a deep sleeper or I would have been showered with questions. I looked at my surroundings and sat up bringing my knees close to my chest like I do every time that I feel lonely. I wish you were around at time like now mom I thought.
