6 Chapter 5

Xiulan reached the top floor and walked towards her cabin, enduring all the stares towards her. She was going internally after seeing the thread posted on the forum. How can someone just claim that she had done something immoral just because she got into the chairman's car? She was forced to get on in the first place! She opened the door and went in. She noticed that Lan Jingfeng was sitting in her chair, casually filing with his phone. She frowned but didn't approach her seat. He looked up at her and said " Are you that attention deprived that you had to resort to posting that thread in the forum? I never knew you were like this." with a blank face. Fury rose in waves inside Xiulan. She was this close to exploding but she forced herself to calm down. She took a deep breath and said "Mr. Lan I was not the one who posted the thread on the company's forum. I am in no way attention deprived. In fact I am uncomfortable with all the unwarranted attention and it's common sense that nobody writes that kind of things about themselves. Really who calls themselves a bitch and a whore? I am not stupid and I definitely didn't ask for any of this. All of this wouldn't have happened of you didn't force your presence on me in the first place!". She panted and glared at him. He looked at her with a face devoid of expressions and said "The thread was posted with the IP address which was traced to Rivera Heights in the south. As far as the information goes, you are the only one who lives there Miss Zhang." Xiulan was shocked to hear this. She never knew that someone hated her to such an extent that they thought of such an elaborate plan to trap her.

Xiulan looked up straight into his face and said "I am innocent. I know of this fact but I don't have any means to prove it at the moment."

Lan Jingfeng stood up, and walked towards her. She slowly inched backwards untill she hit a wall. He came dangerously close and trapped her with both his arms pressed on the walls on both the sides, leaving her with no escape. He said in a low voice "Well since somebody has already done this, why don't we just play along? Become my woman."
