6 All might.

The day went on as usual. We had required lessons like math, English and science. It gave me a few opportunities to sleep. The only lesson where I paid attention to the teacher was Modern Hero Art History. The reason was simple.

My position in the back meant that I was almost never called upon. I can only thank god that the person who sat in front of me was 6 feet tall and quite wide. He blocked the view of teachers to me.

There was a 10-minute gap in between lessons that gave people to rest and talk a minute to get their stuff out for the next lesson. Small friendships groups had already formed within the class.

I spoke to the birdman the earphone girl. They were people who were like me. Laidback and very relaxed. While Tokoyami was a bit of a goth it didn't really matter.

"For someone with so much potential, you sure do laze around Toshiaki," Jirou commented.

"I prefer to catch up on my own time. I've been tired these days with all that's going on." I explained.

"Nice excuse."

Technically it wasn't a lie but it wasn't the whole truth. So was it a lie?

"A more observant teacher will probably catch you out," Tokoyami said.

"I've never been caught once in my life. I don't think I'll start now."

I'd never been caught in my life. Maybe it was just luck.

Everyone was packing for lunch. I put on my bag and tucked in my chair.

-------------------

All Might. He was our teacher for heroics. All Might was a fascinating hero. He was the greatest hero in the history of heroes. But the thing that interested me was how mysterious he really was. His quirk is unknown and his age is also unknown. I theorize he's around his mid-thirties and has a strength enhancer quirk. He seemed to have an interest in Izuku Midoriya. He seemed particularly happy when he threw that ball. Or maybe I was just overthinking it and he was glad a student passed.

I didn't hate nor Dislike All Might. I wasn't a raging fanboy but I wasn't a hater of his. In fact I pitied All Might.

The matter of the fact is I don't see what was so special about All might. Yes, he was the strongest hero and greatest hero, but maybe to me, that wasn't enough to earn my idolisation.

"Toshiaki, Toshiaki" I heard my name being said so I turned my head to see the voice.

"You blanked for a few seconds, are you all right?" Tokoyami asked.

"Sorry, It's a habit of mine. I was just thinking about something. My mom is always shouting at me about it." I've had this habit since I was a kid. I zone out of everything and ignore everything going.

"We were talking about what we'll do for our heroic lesson." Jirou quickly filled me in.

"Hopefully something fun. If All might is our teacher then we'll probably have a practical lesson." I took a bite of the rice in my bowl after I gave my thoughts.

"It's just a shock isn't it? Having the number 1 hero as our teacher. U.A is great isn't it?" Momo said with a gleeful face.

The table all agreed.

--------------------------------

"I'm entering through the door like a normal human!" All Mights body entered the door.

"It's all might!"

"He really is a teacher!"

"That costume is from the silver age isn't it?"

Comments like these were being thrown around as all might marched over to the desk.

Once he got there he began his speech.

"I teach Basic hero training. It is a subject where you train in different ways to learn the basics of a hero."

All might flexed his muscles, (for no reason really), and showed the class a card that had the word "Battle." written on it.

"Let's get right into it. This is what you'll be doing today - combat training."

So I was right, a practical session. Sounds fun.

"And to go with that are THESE." Out of the wall small cases with numbers on the front of them.

"Your costumes!"

"Get your costumes and come to ground Beta."

"Yes Sir!"

---------------------------

My costume wasn't anything special. I wore a Short-sleeved jumper that was plain white. The used a special fibre that was heatproof and that was an insulator. It was quite itchy at first but that went away with time. I asked for a utility belt which I could wrap around my waist. It had things ranging from medical supplies to capture tools. My baggy trousers were black and made of the same material as the jumper. I wore white boots to top it all off.

"Your costume is quite. normal?" She didn't know what word she could use to describe it.

I turned around and saw Jiro in her hero outfit. "I can say the same for you. You look like a rockstar actually."

"That was the theme I was going for." She said as if it was a known fact.

"Hmmm. I should've known you'd like rock Music."

"What's that supposed to mean?" She sounded offended. Should have I not said that.

With a stroke of luck, All Might began his lesson.

"Now it's time for combat training."

"Sir, this is the battle centre from the entrance exam. Will we be conducting Urban battles again." Iida who looked like a comic character asked.

"No, we're going to take this two steps ahead. Most of the time, fighting villains takes place outside. But if you look at the numbers atrocious villains appear indoors at a higher rate. In this society of heroes, intelligent villains stay in the shadows."

All Might was correct about that. If I was a villain the public eye is what I'd avoid the most.

"For this class, you'll be split into heroes and villains and fight 2 on 2 indoor battles."

"Without basic training?" The frog said.

"This is a real battle to understand those basics. However the key this time is that there's no robot which you can just beat up."

"How will wins and losses be determined?"

"Can we just beat them up anyway?"

"Will expulsion be the punishment?"

"How shall we be split up?"

The class bombarded All might with all types of questions some not even relevant to the topic.

"Now listen here. The situation is that villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. The heroes need to catch the villains or get the weapon back in their allotted time. The villain team must either catch the villains or capture them. Teams and opponents will be determined by lots." All might explained.

"They're being decided so haphazardly?" Iida commented.

"It's because heroes have to create make-shift teams with heroes from other agencies so maybe that's why?" Deku theorized.

"Please excuse my rudeness," Iida said while bowing.

"It's fine. Let's get on with the show."

Once the whole class took their lots I was on Team I with a tail man.

"Let's try our best, Toshiaki!" He seemed very nervous.

"Sure."

The first fight of the day was Team A vs Team D so it was Izuku vs Bakugo.

---------------------------

[You've all seen the fight I'm not writing it.]

That fight was pathetic. They acted on personal grudges and caused damage to the building. They acted like school children. The matter of the fact was I thought too highly of them maybe.

Bakugo is a child in a teenagers body. He was easy to anger which was something that pulled him back from his potential. While Midoriya managed to break his arm while using his quirk.

Yaoyorozu had finished explaining who the MVP was.

"Now let's decide who the next team is." He placed his hands in the boxes and took out two balls.

"Team I will be the villains while team B will be the heroes."

Oh. I was up against Endeavors son.

Maybe I should try this time?
