4 An unexpected nightmare - Chapter 4

"This stranger..." Y/N thought while going back to her class that she has left about half an hour ago, "that ring was beautiful thou...probably expensive too. I wonder how it got in my locker."

She kept on thinking about that mysterious ring. She thought of every detail and angle she seen from the ring. A sparkling and unique accessory wouldn't leave her mind, until meanwhile her thoughts changed into the boy who has stolen the ring from her earlier and then lost it. "What if it was his ring..." Y/N thought and suddenly felt a sympathy for him, "I should've not being that harsh on him..." Y/N stopped, and was thinking of coming back and apologize to that stranger, until a sudden thought hit her, "But it was in my locker! Someone probably trusted me this ring until this idiot came out of nowhere!"

Y/N turned back and continued her walk towards her classroom. Yet, she didn't reach there, since someone has caught her attention. A black silhouette was standing in a hallway, looking at her with two circled eyes. The creature looked petrifying, it looked like an alien but in a different form. It looked like it was 2 metres tall, with a long and black hair however with manly shoulders. Its full body was covered in black, as if it was someone's shadow standing out. Its eyes' colours were unique too, they were light blue and white together, as if its eyes were made of sky and clouds.

Y/N didn't know what to do. Her instinct was telling her to run away, however at the same time she felt as if her soul was holding her from the inside so she couldn't move. Her breathing accelerated faster and faster, but the creature remained the same. "Y/N..." the creature murmured softly and quietly like a female, as if it was a mermaid's voice.

Y/N face expression changed into a slight confusion. "Did it call my name?" Y/N thought, "Who is it..."

Shortly, the creature showed its hand in the form of a fist and then slowly opened it, and on its palm, there was a ring. Y/N carefully looked at its palm with the ring from the distance, and in a few seconds, she has realised that it was the ring she found in her locker earlier. The shape, the stone, and materials...everything looked the same. "The ring!" Y/N surprisingly, loudly and clearly said, "Where did you get it from?" She asked unsurely.

The creature didn't say anything but smiled softly. Y/N wasn't sure whether she had to come and collect the ring or stay in the same position, therefore she stayed remained. Suddenly, the creature's eyes have changed. They slowly turned into two colours, blue and red, the same colours as the stone of the ring had. Its smile slowly widened, showing off big fangs. Y/N got scared and panicked, she was about to scream, however as soon as she wanted to, her voice was gone. She couldn't scream, and she was paralyzed too. Suddenly, everything around her, has changed. She wasn't being in her school anymore. She got suddenly relocated into the inside of the tornado that was in black and dark red, circled around at the speed of light, however she stayed still as if she was the controller of this wind. She started to hear whispers in an unknown language. Y/N got terrified, and she couldn't even fall and hold her ears to stop hearing all of this. She was like a statue that stayed still yet had all the terrifying emotions inside. The only thing Y/N could do was to close her eyes tightly and wishing this nightmare would go away. She was screaming inside, hoping that someone would save her, but the nightmare continued. Suddenly, these whispers turned into loud screams. Y/N kept her eyes closed even tighter and screaming inside "GO AWAY!"

Shortly she felt someone grabbed her one hand from the right side and kept it tight without pulling her anywhere. This resulted on the voices to disappear quickly, the tornado suddenly started to fade away, and her surrounding went back to normal. She came back to the same hallway again. The creature was gone, yet the hand was still holding hers but lighter this time. Y/N looked at the hand and up and noticed someone was standing next to her. "Y-you..." Y/N murmured tremblingly, while looking at the stranger without pulling the hand away.
