10 A stolen ring - Chapter 10

Y/N stared at the ring as if it was a treasure. Her eyes were shaking left to right in one position as she observes the ring carefully. She felt like wearing it, but something was telling her not to. She wanted to put the ring back in her pocket and continue her walking. However, at the same time Y/N felt as if the ring was magnetically pulling her to wear it and see the beautiful view of this accessory from her ring finger. Therefore, she slowly started to put it on.

Her hand was shaking as she slowly starts to feel the touch of the accessory from the top part of her ring finger…until she heard someone's voice, "What a beautiful ring you have, Miss" a manly and a sassy voice interrupted Y/N from putting the ring on.

The guy seemed tall as he walked towards Y/N. A guy with dark and stylish hair caught Y/N's attention very quickly due to his very interesting face structure. He didn't look like a doll, but also didn't look like a normal human being. His face was so perfect and neat that he can easily be called as the worldwide handsome. Y/N watched the guy approaching her, and once he stopped next to her, he added, "This ring seems very unusual...let me see" and then he snitched the ring out of Y/N's hands as if this belonged to him. Y/N didn't like the behaviour he showed towards her, therefore she said to him with a disappointed tone, "I don't think you have the permission to take the things away from strangers as if it belongs to you"

The guy seemed like he didn't hear her or has completely ignored her, and continued looking at the ring from left to right. "Where did you get this little sparkling item from?" He asked as he keeps on observing the ring.

"None of your business!" Y/N rudely answered that even the guy glanced at her with a surprise, "It doesn't belong to you anyway, so I suggest you to give it back to me" she added.

"Does it belong to you?" He asked with a serious tone.

Y/N replied with a shaky voice, "Yes" Since she wasn't exactly sure if this ring meant for her or not. But no matter who this belonged to, she knew that she wasn't the one who bought it from the store. However, at the same time Y/N felt that she was still the owner of this ring since she was the one who found it in her own locker, but at the same time she also wasn't the one who left this thing in her locker in the first place, therefore she was quite lost in her thoughts about it.

"Doesn't sound like it's yours" the guy confidently said, interrupted Y/N from her deep thoughts as he put the ring in his pocket, "I will bring this to the principal, probably someone lost it or accidently left it in the wrong locker".

Y/N wanted to tell him to give her the ring back, however there was something else bothered her. "...or accidently left in the wrong locker?" She thought confusingly, "how does he know that it possibly may be placed in the wrong locker by someone..." Y/N lost in her thoughts once again as the guy started to slowly walk away confidently. She knew that she didn't tell him anything about the locker coincidence, therefore she felt like he was involved with this ring being in her locker. She immediately ran to him and grabbed his hand.

"How do you know this ring may be replaced into a wrong locker? Are you somehow involved in this?" She seriously asked as she stares into his eyes with thunder in her eyes.

"I don't know what you're talking about, let go of me" he replied with the same tone as Y/N gave, and then pulled his hand away from her. He waved goodbye as if nothing happened and then turned around and walked away.

"Hey wai-!" As Y/N was about to follow this guy again, her teacher came out of nowhere from the distance, shouting her all the way from the entrance. Her teacher seemed dissatisfied and was walking towards her.

"I thought you were a better student, where have you been young lady?" A grumpy tone came out of his mouth, and Y/N looked down. "I..." she quietly tried to say yet her teacher interrupted her by saying, "keep your excuses for later, now go to the classroom." He said with a slightly loud voice.

Y/N went to her lesson as she stares at the stranger from the distance, who has stolen the ring from her. That guy walked confidently without turning back, as if nothing has happened. Will Y/N get the ring back again? Or did she lose it completely?
