5 Welcome to Wonderland!

"Both of you, put down your arms. A king comes! My name is Alexander, King of Conquerors. I am participating in this Holy Grail War and received the Class of Rider."

"Exactly on time," I muttered as I sipped my cup of coffee.

""What – the bloody hell do you think you're doing, stupid moroooooooon?"

As Rider's master loudly whined,I placed my cup atop the table. I watched from my seat on top of a shipping container as the events went on as shown from the novel.

"Come on out! There must be others. Friends that are hiding in the darkness and spying on us!"

Saber and Lancer were both shocked.

"– What are you doing, Rider?"

Facing an inquiring Saber, the King of Conquerors did a thumb-up accompanied with a hearty smile.

"Saber and Lancer, your frontal battle is most excellent and fine. The clear sound made from the clashing of sword and spear would perhaps attract more than one Heroic Spirit, don't you agree?"

"That's our cue," I turned towards my companion. "Are you ready Rhyme?"

"Fufufu~" Rhyme giggled as she twirled. "I'm always ready to play!"

"Very well then." I nodded at her answer.

As soon as I stood up the table, the chairs, and the silverware cracked and broke like brittle glass.

"What a shame. What a shame, really! The heroes of might gathered at Fuyuki! Seeing the prowess displayed here by Saber and Lancer, does it not invoke any sentiments from you? Having a name that deserves praise, yet concealing yourself and spying in secrecy; what cowardice. Even Heroic Spirits would be troubled upon hearing this, huh?" The King of Conquerors bellowed once more.

After another fit of laughter, Rider tilted his head with a fearless expression at the corner of his mouth, and ended with a challenging glance.

"The Heroic Spirits invited by the Holy Grail, gather here at this moment! For those cowards that fear to show their faces, spare yourself the humiliation that Alexander, King of Conquerors, would deal to you. Prepare yourself!"

A golden light arrived in response to Rider's words.

The light was still fading, and there already was no surprise left in the heart of the spectators. It wasn't just a wild guess anymore that this was a fourth Servant who had made an appearance responding to Rider's provocation.

The dreadful point is that the beginning of the hostilities was a gathering of five Servants already. Nobody could possibly conjecture what the turn of events would be.

As expected, the golden light came from 10 meters above, atop a street pole, where a figure standing in a shining armor could be seen.

Gilgamesh of Uruk, the first Hero, and first King of man. Clad in armor of gold, his entire posture speaks of arrogance!

"I didn't expect there would be three fools in one night to the have insolence of calling themselves kings."

Displeasure and irritation was visible on the face of Gilgamesh.

"You are mistaken... I am Alexander, the King of Macedonia and renowned throughout history as the King of Conquerors!"

"Fool. The only Hero who is a real king in this world is me. The rest are simply lowly imitations."

Color was rapidly draining from Saber's face due to anger. Rider gave a loud sigh, ignoring the insult altogether.

"If you are such a king, then why don't announce yourself? You couldn't be ashamed of your fame!"

At Rider's provocation, Archer's red eyes burned with anger.

"I gave you the honor of my presence yet you cannot recognize your King? Such ignorance cannot be permitted!"

At his words, golden portals bloomed behind him. At each portal, the tip of multitudes of weapons slowly appeared.

This is his Noble Phantasm, The Gate of Babylon. Within it are all the treasures of man be in in the past, present, or future.

Then, an unexpected torrent of prana swept in a roar.

Under the watchful gaze of everyone, the flowing prana gathered and solidified, materializing into she shadow of an armored man.

"Hey, King of Conquerors. Did you invite that guy too?"

Rider grimaced at Lancers words.

"Invited, eh? Look's like that one has no intention to negotiate."

Nothing but bloodthirst flowed from the knight. Without any doubt, the Servant was no other than Berserker.

With a flick of my hand, the barrier that hid us broke down, revealing our visage to everyone present.

Taking Rhyme's hand into mine, we jumped down from our spot.

"All the guests have gathered!" My childish voice echoed through the docks.

"Now it's time to start the tea party!" Rhyme's own followed without missing a beat.

The gathered servant's turned their gaze towards us.

"A pair of children?" Rider asks.

"N-no..." Waver's wavering voice answered. "T-they are servants!"

A light giggle escapes my lips.

"It looks like everyone has gathered her for tonight."

"And so the story begins."

"Now we welcome you"

"To our very own"

""Wonderful Wonderland!""

And the world shifted.

Gone was the docks ruined by battle. Gone was the starless night sky.

Instead, twisted tree and a purple sky replaced the surroundings.

"This is-" Irisviel gasps loudly.

"A reality marble," Lord El-melloi's voice drawled out.

"It seems that we have been caught by Caster's trap." Rider pointed out.

""Now, let the tea party begin!"" With perfect synchronicity, Rhyme and I twirled and vanished into thin air.

In our place stood five figures.

A Knight in a wicked looking armor and horned helm.

A Giant of a Man seated on a throne carried by skeletons.

A green haired humanoid, clothed in a simple robe.

A man that is more beautiful than any woman.

A lance wielding knight mounted on a white stallion.

Mordred, Darius, Enkidu, Fionn, and Rhongominiad.

The five servant's eyes widened at the sight of someone so familiar to them.

With my Illusion Magic, I recreated these figures for two reasons.

First, as a mental attack. Emotions would surely cloud their judgement.

And second, for entertainment. My patron is surely bored due to my two years of training montage.

Then, with nary a thought, everyone bursts into motion.

And so marks the beginning of the end of the shortest Holy Grail War in History.
