25 Entity's End (and a confession)

Scion. The first hero.

Clad in a pure white robe, his body radiate golden light.

Zion. The Warrior Entity.

The second half of the Cycle. Together with Eden, the Thinker Entity, they were supposed to seed the civilization with their shard, and then harvest them at the right time.

Yet, the Cycle cannot be completed now, for Eden perished.

For years he had followed the words of a hobo named Norton to stave off the despair. But soon, he began to feel empty once more.

Some time in the future, Jack Slash has convinced him to seek joy through Destruction, this marks the beginning of the Golden Morning.

Zion rampaged through many Earths, leaving them barren. He was eventually stopped by Khepri, who controlled countless parahumans across many dimensional parallels of Earth to kill Zion.

Then, Contessa would bury two lead bullets on Khepri's skull as thanks.

But all of that won't happen now. I have killed Jack Slash and his merry band of murderhobos.

To be sure, I will kill Zion. Which brings us to the present.

Here, floating in front of me, is the Warrior Entity.

With a smile, I shot a Gamma Ray Burst at Zion.

Without any fanfare, Zion dodged the attack.

The Warrior retaliated with a beam of golden light. I flew to the side, but the beam followed.

A force field appeared but was broken through by the beam.

I formed a black beam, erasing the golden beam with an explosion.

With a sonic boom, Zion rushed to my position, arms cocked to the side.

Cannot dodge, cross arms to block. Zion punched, arms broken.

Retreat, make space. Zion follows. Make portal.

Zion rapidly approaching. Arms now healed.

Form two black holes, throw accurate. Black holes hit Zion. Lost an arm and two legs, still approaching.

Make black beam. Zion stopped. Shooting. Zion dodged, arm now regenerated.

Zion shoots fifteen golden beams. Stilling beams, capable of disintegrating matter. Dangerous.

Make portal, move to alternate earth. Zion and beams followed, both feet now regenerated.

From an arrow. Load with virus.

Zion appears. Make Klein Field.

Six Beams hit Klein Field. 62% Saturation.

Fly away. Zion and beams followed. Eight beams hit, Klein Field Collapsed.

Let remaining beam hit arm. Arm disintegrated, begin healing.

Zion punched, creating a sonic boom. Arm blocked the punch, bones pulverized, muscles ruptured.

Retreat. Zion follows.

Kick with right leg. Zion hit in the face. Drops towards the landmass.

Left arm regenerated. Right arm still forming.

Zion came out from dust cloud. Use remaining arm to create black hole.

Zion sees the black hole. Shoots it with golden beam.

Black hole collapse. Retreat.

Zion appeared behind. PAIN!

Spine fractured, ribs cracked. Entire chest cavity was moved to Imaginary nth dimension, safe.

Spend 1 charge, enhance regeneration. Arms formed, ribs healed, spine regenerated.

Zion floating idle.

Arrow ready.

I shook my head, getting out of my battle mode.

With a flick of my hand, an illusion of Eden appeared. Zion's attention was momentarily drawn to the illusion.

A moment I didn't miss.

With a flick of my hand, the arrow flew straight and true, hitting Zion squarely in the chest.

The arrow disintegrated upon contact, having delivered it's payload.

Entities are comparable to the Dragon Gods of the DxD universe. Even with my powers, my inexperience in using them will be the cause of my defeat.

So I cheated. Inside the arrow is a virus that will cause Zion's shards to self-cannibalize.

Well, those not connected to their hosts.

Zion's entire body contorted, as if being wrung in a dryer.

Then, his golden aura flickered, before turning black.

A few seconds later, his entire body turned to dust.

I looked down at the now desolate Earth. It was once a lush fields, but was ruined by our fight. The main reason why I moved to this dimension.

Earth Bet is the home of two of my peerage members, it is their Garden, their Playground. As their master, it is my duty to eliminate the pests.

With a deep breath, I repaired my ruined dress and formed a portal, returning to Earth Bet.

The Slaughterhouse Nine is dead, Zion is dead, now only a few pests remain.

With a snap of my finger, countless black beams appeared. This was my version of Zion Stilling power.

With his negates any from of wavelength, that can disintegrate matter, stop or slow time, or negate any attack, mine is simply pure conceptual destruction.

Why didn't I use this to kill Zion? Because Entities are made of countless shards. It would need me to shoot over billions of black beams just to kill off his human avatar, and trillions more to kill his Entity body, and countless bodies over hundreds of dimensions.

With the virus, any Shard directly connected to Zion's human avatar, which is all, will self-cannibalize.

Looks like I went into another tangent.

With a wave of my hand, the black beams shot forth, targeting all of the known and Unknown S-class threats around the world.

The Remaining 19 Endbringers, 3 Active and 16 Inactive, turned to dust.

Heartbreaker, Nilbog, Sleeper, Moord Nag, the Dragon Slayers (not really an S-class but they are assholes so why not?), and Ash Beast.

Then, I formed another arrow with the same virus. When it was completely charged, I opened a head sized portal.

On the other side was a planet filled with pulsing flesh. Eden's dead body.

I threw my arrow, hitting the flesh. Within seconds, the flesh, the veins, the ever-changing metals turned to dust.

Smiling, I closed the portal and went towards my Peerage members.

It was a fun six months. Everything is done here, so now I have to bring my peerage along with their family (well, only Taylor's) to my palace.

Extended Author's Note

Well, I have a confession to make.

This entire arc, as you've noticed, is extremely wonky and weird.

Well, this entire arc is a test of my experimental writing style of writing a story nonlinearly.

I quit doing that halfway though.

And I have noticed, that I have seemed to gloss over most things. This is because I was used to Spacebattles where everyone is a Worm Serial Expert... I won't rewrite this arc, but I'll try to make Taylor(Raven), Ciara(Glaistig Uaine), and Simmy's characterization clear later.

And just a head's up, my writing will probably slow down because I'm just using one hand to type.

Some As*hole ran me over and broke one of my arm. It's in a cast now.
