4 Chapter 3

Siena Davies POV

Around 6 pm, I got a text message from my best friend Lisa.

Lisa: "Hey bestie, come and meet me at Rogers Restaurant & Bar."

Me: "Okay, see ya." I texted her back.

I packed my stuff into my handbag and headed to the elevator. I pressed to the ground floor.

Within a few minutes, I came out of the elevator and walked towards the parking lot.

My Cherry red Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato appeared flashing in the bright sunlight.

I climbed into the driver seat, put the key on the ignition, and buckled my seat belt, the Aston Martin roar to life. I drove to the Location like a thundering bolt.

Thirty-five mins later, I arrived at the restaurant, gave my keys to the valet guy, and headed towards the main door, walked into the restaurant. On to the right, my bestie Lisa sat near the window yelled my name, and waved at me.

I headed towards her and sat opposite her.

"So, what is the occasion?" I asked her.

She replied to me, "No Occasion, just a besties hangout."

Lisa was looking really stressed. Her face was pale."I asked her, are you alright?"

She replied to me, "Yes, I am perfectly alright."

"Lisa, don't lie to me. Tell me what's bothering you?" I asked her.

She replied to me, "After today's meeting. While I was heading towards my office, I saw Ms. Barnard talking to someone on the phone secretly."

I asked her, "what she was speaking? To whom she was speaking? Did you hear their conversation?"

"She was talking about some drug dealing case to the cop on the phone. She is a dangerous woman. I think after you and your brothers told her and others to stop doing the research on Mr.Pattinson. She is secretly working on it and informing the cops. Better you find it out ASAP and fire her from the company." She replied to me.

"Okay, will look into it. But I need your help." I told her.

She replied to me, "Sure, what are besties for? To help each other."

I smile at her.

We were talking random stuff, ordered our drinks.

Suddenly, someone closed my eyes behind me, I heard his familiar voice. I called out Jake.

He asked me, "How do you know it was me?"

"I know, that's it. It's a secret." I replied to him.

I asked Lisa, "Other than Jake, is anyone else joining us?"

Lisa replied to me, "yes, your brothers. They will be here within 5. Oh! Here there are."

I turned back and looked at my brothers who are walking towards us.

"Hey sis, Lisa, and Jake." They both wished in unison.

Jake sat next to Lisa, my brothers sat next to me.

I called the waiter and ordered drinks for everyone.

My brother Hardin started talking about today's meeting. I replied to him, "Stop it brother, I am really tired of hearing it again and again."

Christian said to me, "what is wrong with you? you were the one who started the debate at the meeting."

I replied to him, "Yes, but, please change the topic, always talking about work."

Lisa said to me, "Siena, I think you should tell your brothers, what is happening in the company?"

I looked into my brother's eyes and told them about Ms. Barnard.

They both were surprised. They both were fuming with rage. I told them both, "to control their anger."

I told my brothers, "we cannot go directly and ask her or tell dad about the issue. Because they will ask for proof. So, we all will collect the proofs and confronts Ms. Barnard."

Jake replied to me, "I will help you guys."

So, I asked my brothers, "Will you both help me?"

In unison, they both said, "Yes we will help you."

As a team, we all high-fived each other. I told them, "We have to really be careful with Ms. Barnard. She is smart like an anaconda."

We called the waiter again and ordered our food.

Within a few hours, the food has arrived and we all started digging into the food.

After we all finished with our yummy dinner, we all paid the bill and walked across the street, and entered the ice cream parlor. To have our favorite ice creams.

We took our ice creams, headed outside, and stood there and enjoyed having ice cream while talking.

Jake and Hardin were cracking jokes. Where we three couldn't resist our laughs.

I told them both to stop it, my stomach is hurting.

They both didn't stop, they continued their laughter show.

Around midnight, I and my brothers arrived at our mansion.

We sat on our couches in the living room.

My brother Christian asked me, "Ummm, are you sure Ms. Barnard can do such a thing?"

I told him, "Look, I don't know who is right or who is wrong? But, I will find it out at any cost. I really don't like her. Whenever I see her, I get negative vibes from her. Dad really trusts her a lot. So, it's better to get proofs and show it to our dear daddy."

Hardin replied to us both, "Siena, don't worry, we will find it out. So, what's the plan?"

Suddenly dad entered the living room and asked us, "what plans are you talking about?"

Siena replied to her dad, "daddy, nothing we were just discussing Lisa's and Jake's surprise birthday bash."

"Oh! That's great, honey, but their birthday is next month, right? Why are you discussing this now? You can start planning next month, the first week." Alexander Davies asked her.

I replied to him, "Yes, dad, but If I plan from now. It will be finished next month in the first week."

"Okay, your wish," Dad replied to me.

Before he left, He told us that, "The employees will not work on Mr. Pattinson."

Immediately I hugged him and said to him, "Thank you and you are the best dad in the whole world."

Christian and Hardin also came and hugged us.

We broke from our family group hug and wished each other "Good night," and headed to our respective bedrooms.

I turned my bedroom doorknob, closed the door behind me, went to the bathroom, removed my make up and washed my face. headed to the closet, changed into my nightgown, walked towards my bed, and drifted to sleep.
