1 Prologue

What if...

The world of cultivators wasn't filled with people with a stupidly high ego?

What if...

Arrogant young masters were to be unqualified from the succession line?

Well, that's surely not a story that I would be capable to write. (Eentense irony)

Ahahah!

Then, who doesn't like to have an easy villain to demonize?

I do. I do like to have them, I mean.

But trying is mandatory, so not to have regret, isn't it? (Typical protagonist talk)

Ok, ok it's time to stop joking.

And so our story begins...

**********

'That was the 3rd era, life rose from the essence and death consequently was created, between the beast's instinct, the spark of reason arose, and so humanity. Then there was the 4th era where heroes arose and the 9 races where divided. Now there is the 5th era started by the coronation of the heavenly kings and the separation of worlds...'

Raden stopped writing and sighed.

'Uhhh...This is the 9th time I rewrite this...'

Independence, that was its price.

He graduated from high school one year ago, and his parents already bought him a house.

"Huh...well, I could have at least tried to do something, but it would be truly better if I could find a full-time job and stop with my ambitions as a writer..." He muttered to himself.

'I'm not able to focus on writing: I'm worthless if we talk about time management'

Yes. He spent his last year wasting his time on video games, immersed in the magical world of internet...maybe reading a novel...maybe getting pissed by the new trends in politics, in the video game world, in the celebrity one...maybe being the one who likes posts but never comments.

Raden grinned.

'Well, I'm such a relatable man. I may even become the protagonist of an anime if I continue with self-deprecation!'

"I want to reincarnate...to reincarnate in another world! In one of those fantasy world where I can be the hero...A HERO THAT DOESN'T HAVE TO PURSUE THE PLOT BECAUSE THE PLOT PURSUES HIM!"

He punched the table.

"Sigh"

'I've not grown by a bit since high school, hasn't I? Being angry at nothing.'

He went to bed.

'Every man needs someone to shift the responsibility to...at least have him be non-existent.'

He tried a half-smile.

'Well, I hope to have not woken up my neighbours'

He felt a little guilty...

He closed his eyes.

And he would never open them again, or at least...In our world.
