12 Two with White Hair

After bringing Nate to meet Ororo Monroe and introducing him officially to T'chaka, Hope excused herself using the excuse of running errands. Sure, there actually were things that Nate asked her to do telepathically, so it wasn't a lie exactly, but more then those errands she needed a little space to think.

After leaving Ororo's cottage, Hope became invisible and started flying north really quickly. When he told her to look into his mind, Hope had done so, and for the most part there were no barriers impeding her, until a certain point. The truth was that the earliest moment she could see from his past was when Lady Death gave him his powers. It appeared that she blocked those older memories from being accessed by others. She could tell that Nate was not specifically trying to hide them from her.

With the deep connection between their very souls Nate would not have been able to hide the truth from her even if he wanted too, but somehow Lady Death had pulled it off.

This world, while it shared a great many things in common with her world, was still clearly different, like a parallel universe or something. She could only guess that Nate was someone from her world, otherwise she had no idea how he would know of her existence.

Anyway, apparently Nate had heard from Athena who heard from Hecate about a magical anomaly that occurred in Spain. With Hope's current flying speed (far below her maximum speed), the trip to Spain took a bit over two minutes, and she started looking for strange phenomenons or occurrences that might be there.

It did not take her long to detect a magical battle going on, and she flew towards that location while entering the mirror dimension where the brutal battle was already being waged between two women, one of whom Hope recognized from a mental image she had received from Nate. It was the so-called 'Ancient One' of this reality.

The other woman had long black hair, glowing purple eyes, and a sexy appearance. The sorceress wore a very revealing green dress that showed off her large breasts and had a decorative belt that looked to be made of bone with a decorative skull on the front of it. Her outfit had a rather sinister appearance to it.

Hope decided to telepathically relay what she was seeing to Nate and his mental energy felt like he was quite surprised by what she had learned. Nate said that he'd be there soon to handle this matter personally, and he asked that she carry on with the next next objective he asked her about.

She started flying away, now headed southwards towards Antarctica, where she'd see if the Savage Lands existed in this world and if it did she'd progress with the next step of Nate's request, obtaining a sample of Antarctic Vibranium to add into the Dimension Seed that they were growing.

------

Nate came to observe the ongoing battle between the Ancient One and the mysterious woman. In mere moments, he was convinced that his earlier guess as to her identify was correct. This was none other then Morgan Le Fey, a troublesome sorceress in the Marvel Universe. Of all the people he could have encountered in this world, she was among the last he ever hoped to see here. She was pleasing to look at, sure, but dealing with her carried too great a cost.

Even if he had dared to try to seduce that woman, he could easily imagine her becoming a yandere. Even if she wasn't able to kill him, she could probably kill some of the people he loved. He mentally reminded himself to never sleep with crazy. This woman was the absolute perfect example of why one should never sleep with crazy.

Nate mentally reminded himself that Morgan Le Fey hadn't appeared in the MCU,, so he could only guess that the Ancient One would eventually come out on top in this battle, but it made him wonder why Morgan Le Fey appeared here and now?

Without focusing on the Ancient one and Morgan Le Fey, Nate looked around a bit with his telepathy, and detected another person hidden nearby. Descending out of the sky into an alley, Nate landed on top of a dumpster and looked down at a frightened young woman with white hair and tanned skin, a few shades lighter then Ororo. though seeing another beauty with white hair so soon after meeting Ororo was quite surprising "Are you alright?" Nate asked her.

The young woman backed away from Nate with suspicion "Are you with that crazy bitch that wants to steal my body?" her brown eyes flashed with hostility and suspicion as a purple energy formed around her hands, ready to defend herself with magic.

"Oh, a sorceress. Makes sense. And no, I am not with Morgan Le Fey or the Ancient One. I know of them, but have not spoken to either of them before" Nate reassured the girl "I am the Phoenix." he thought back to his previous life, to the Doctor Strange comics, and tried to figure out the identity of this girl, but he drew a complete blank. Unfortunately, he had not read a lot of those comics, so it was entirely possible that she actually was in it, but he did not recognize her "You can call me Nate." he smiled charmingly. "Need a little help?" he hopped off of the dumpster and offered her a hand.

"Clea. My name is Clea." the girl was a bit hesitant, but decided to take a chance and accepted Nate's hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Clea." Nate insisted, surprised by how soft her hand felt Touching her smooth skin gave a very pleasant sensation, though he hid it well and ripped open a portal and brought her through it back to Wakanda.

Hope Summers, having entered the Savage Land, remained invisible as she hovered in the sky above it surveying the scene. In such an out-of-the-way place as Antarctica, it was surprising to find a Prehistoric jungle.

Hope spotted a millipede that was around a meter long o a nearby tree and shuddered in disgust.

After seeing that monstrosity, Hope made a mental note to use her telepathy for as long as she was in this land to make sure nothing like that could sneak up on her. 'All you have to do is find a sample of Antarctic Vibranium and then you can leave this terrible place' Hope mentally reminded herself before beginning her search.

Hope easily completely ignored the dinosaurs that dwelt in the Savage Land, and was most paranoid about the disgusting bugs. As far as she was concerned, bugs shouldn't be as huge as they were in this place!

She kept herself in check, but recognized that there was a small voice inside her head calling upon her to massacre the abominations! Hope carefully controlled her breathing and focused on her objective.

Ororo was in a clearing, levitating in the air with her white eyes glowing as she practiced controlling her powers. She noticed Nate's portal, but did not let it distract her and she continued maintaining her focus even after Nate and Clea arrived from a portal.

Clea, meanwhile, was surprised to spot Ororo, and looked at Nate "Where are we?" she asked quietly.

Nate chuckled quietly "Lets wait until Ororo finished training and then I'll introduce you to her." he answered simply and led Clea over to a bench where they took a seat and watched Ororo manipulating the weather.

Clea was surprised both by Ororo's abilities and the fact that they had the same hair color. She'd never seen anyone other then her in this world, with such pure, white hair, like snow. In Ororo's case it was caused by her mutation, but Clea's hair was white for a different reason.

Clea watched Ororo seemingly quite curious, seeing lightning crackling around her in a beautiful dance as clouds were forming more and more above her. The clouds were starting to darken a bit before Ororo gasped for breath and slowly descended back to the ground while the lightning was dispersing. "Rain is still hard." Ororo muttered to herself before looking towards Nate and Clea "Hello again, Nate." she walked over to the duo as Nate and Clea stood up again.

"We didn't have to wait that long after all." Nate commented to Clea with a chuckle before smiling back at Ororo "Ororo, I'd like to introduce you to a new friend." he faced towards Clea "Clea, this is Ororo, alias Storm. Ororo, I just helped to rescue Miss Clea here from a terrible fate."

"Huh?" Clea asked with confusion as she looked at Nate.

"I assume from what I've heard of Morgan Le Fey, the woman that was probably looking for you, she jumps between bodies, possessing young women to maintain her long life." Nate explained to Clea "I assume that she judged you as suitable to take possession of so that she can extend her life even further."

Clea shuddered when she heard that "Okay. If you are right, if that was her aim, then it truly would have been terrible. Thank you." the woman had aluded to wanting to take Clea's body, but she had not been told why until Nate mentioned it.

"Well, recruiting Ororo was someone I planned to recruit, though it was accelerated quite a bit due to what happened to her." Nate admitted to Clea "Meeting you was completely unexpected, though, so I haven't planned anything for you. For now I'll ask King T'chaka if you can stay here with Ororo. I'll go now to make sure the woman that was fighting Morgan Le Fey is alright, and back her up if needed." he placed his hand on Clea's shoulder with a smile "You should be safe here until I get back."

Clea nodded, but seemed confused "Why do you trust me? You don't even know me."

"I know the Ancient One, and I know Morgan Le Fey. Since the Ancient One fought Morgan Le Fey on your behalf, you must be a good person." Nate insisted "For now, though, I'll be off." he stepped backwards through a portal and left the two white haired girls alone together.
