11 Turning a new leaf
Darien graduated and is now the CEO of the biggest corporation of the nation. He is known as cold and icy on the outside but he is very dedicated to his job.
Ever since his fiancée passed away unexpectedly, he swore he would find the culprits and will kill them mercilessly.
He was never the same after Clara died. He did not even go to her funeral because he missed it when he slept for the whole week.
He was depressed and sad on the inside but he does act cold when he wants to.
He took care of Timothy all by himself when Clara was gone and he acts like a mother and father at the same time.
"Daddy, where is mommy?" Timothy was four and other kids around him all had their parents.
"Mommy is in your heart. Even though we cannot see her, she will always be with us." Darien smiled gently.
"But I want to see her. I want Mommy!" Timothy cried and Darien hugged him, "Daddy wants to see Mommy too."

One year later...
Mr. CEO, we will be selecting new employees at our new branch. Here are the list, do you see anyone interesting?" The manager said.
"No need, choose one that fits the criteria." CEO responded coldly.
"Yes." The manager left the room as soon as possible.
Few weeks later...
"Juliette! Good luck on your interview." Juliette's mom cheered for her.
"You will do well, goodluck!" Jason cheered for her. Jason was her neighbor for quite sometime after she moved to her current place.
As she enters the building, there were many people. Juliette felt overwhelmed quite of a sudden.
"Number 160! Number 160!" One announcer called.
"Coming!" Juliette answered quickly.
Juliette worked hard for the past few years at Cambridge University in England. She is finally back in China and is going to work for the biggest corporation.
"I can do this! I already came this far." Juliette cheered herself on.
"Number 160, You are Juliette from Cambridge?" One interviewer asked
"Yes." Juliette replied.
"You are one of the few people here from oversea universities. We love different people with different talents." The interviewer said.
As the interview went on for another ten minutes or so, Juliette finally finished the interview and she got hired on the spot.
"That was long." She thought.
"Juliette! We are here!" Juliette smiled as she ran to her mom.
"Let's go mom. I'll treat you something special. I got hired on the spot." Juliette told them.
"That's great!" Jason was happy and so is mom.
" I hope daddy came." Juliette missed her father ever since he started to work overseas.
"Daddy will be so proud of you." Juliette's mom smiled at her daughter.

A week passed...
"Everyone, this is Juliette. She is our newest team member. Please welcome her." Everyone clapped.
"Nice to meet you, Juliette. You are so pretty!" One of lady said.
"Thank you. I will work hard in this company." Juliette said gratefully.
"Juliette, this is your working area. If you have any questions, feel free to ask Lisa. She is your partner." Juliette nodded and smiled.
"Our company will have a welcoming party tonight and our CEO will also be there." The manager said.
"Juliette, you will love it tonight." Juliette smiled awkwardly.

That evening, the party was full of people. She met some interesting people but she prefers not to say anything. She rather stay at home and not do anything.
Then the handsome and cold CEO came... everyone stopped what they were doing. Some people feared him and some people were just speechless at how handsome he is.
"Why is he so familiar? Have I met him before?" Juliette thought about it, "No, it can't be." Juliette shook her head.
"Everyone, welcome to the newcomer party. Some of you are new so welcome once again. Hope we can all work well together." Everyone clapped.
"He seems cold..." Juliette said.
"Something to do with his past..." Lisa whispered.
Juliette ohed.
Darien looked at his left and met Juliette in the eyes.
"Clara..." Darien shook it off, "It can't be. She already passed away."
"Juliette, CEO was staring at you." Lisa giggled.
"Yeah I noticed..." Juliette replied.
"Why he was staring at me? Did I remind him of his dead lover?" She thought.
"James, I want you to do a background check on that girl over there. Brown shoulder length hair with black and blue skirt." CEO pointed at Juliette. James nodded.

"Sir, this is the info I got. Juliette C. from Cambridge University. She studied business over there. Do you want me to call her?" Darien shook his head, "Not now." James nodded.
"Sir, you look pale. Is everything alright?" Darien nodded, "Just a bit tired. You can go back now." James bowed and left the room.
"Juliette... Juliette... you look just like Clara." Darien tapped on the paper and sighed, "Guess I will see you soon, Juliette."
