It was summer now, third year was almost over. Clara and her friends went out to shop in the early afternoon.

"Good thing we left on time without colliding with that Ada. She's something else. Didn't you see how close she was with Darien? It was nasty shit. Ughk.. it gives me goosebumps." Emily said as they walked between the aisle.

"Good thing you have Darien's child now. Ada will never get her chance." Clarrisa said.

"Guys, I know you guys don't like Ada. But she's the girl his mom wanted him to marry. We shouldn't say bad things about her. It's up to Darien and listen to his side of the story. I will keep my promise of never leaving him since I am carrying his child now." Clara said as picked out some clothes.

"Clara, you can never give up on Darien... he's so dedicated to you. Don't leave him, okay? You guys are the perfect pair." Clarrissa said.

Clara smiled and nodded.

"I heard Darien proposed to you. Did you say yes?" Clara nodded.

"We are so happy for you! You two my blessing." Emily hugged Clara.

Inside Darien's house...

"Mom, you know I love Ada as my younger sister. I love Clara now. Nothing you can change it." Darien yelled.

"Darien, don't you understand? Just because Clara had your child doesn't mean I will accept her." His mom argued back.

"Mom, I've been with Clara for so long, why won't you accept her?" Darien was pissed off.

"Clara is not suitable for you. Let her have her child and make sure you leave her. Otherwise I don't know what I will do." His mom said.

"Darien, just leave Clara. I'm much better than her." Ada came in happily.

Darien snapped, "If you won't let me be with Clara, I will never come back." Ada and Darien's mother got startled.

"Darien, why can't you make this simple decision? You know how her family background is so different. You and Ada should be together. If you bring Clara here again, I will never see you again." Darien's mom told him.

"That's right, Darien. I am the one who loves you not Clara. Clara is just a manipulator. She seduced you. Miss. Li, can Darien and I get married soon? You have to help me. Okay?" Ada begged.

"Of course. You are my only daughter in law." Darien's mother was happy about that.

"Mrs. Li. Someone came to see you." Clara entered the house and politely greeted everyone.

"Clara, what are you doing here?" Darien went to Clara's side and helped her.

"I got some stuff for Ada and Mrs. Li. Hope they can like it." Clara got the gifts out and gave it to them.

"You didn't have to do this, Clara. You must've be tired. Have a seat." Darien took her hand and they sat on the sofa.

"Darien, I'm okay. Don't worry." Darien looked at Clara softly and kissed her lips.

"Miss. Clara. I'm Darien's mother. I understand you have my son's child but I cannot let you two stay together. You should know your place." His mom sipped her tea.

"Mrs.Li, I understand you don't like me. I cannot leave Darien right now. Since I'm with his child, I cannot go just yet. Darien and I are getting married." Clara said boldly.

"I love Clara, mom. She is the girl I want to be with." Darien held onto Clara's hand tightly.

"I already proposed to her." Mrs. Li looked disappointed, "Darien, how many times do I have to say this? This is nonsense."

"Mrs. Li, don't be angry. I will talk to Darien about it." Ada smiled.

"Clara, I'll drop you at home. You need to rest. You need to take care of our child." Darien helped Clara up and they went to the front door.

"Peter, let's go." Peter nodded and got the car ready.

"All ready, Sir." Darien helped Clara in safely and he sat beside Clara.

"Clara, I'm sorry about my mother. She's really stubborn. Ada is just a immature brat. She's nothing compared to you. I only think of her as my younger sister." Darien told her.

"I understand, Darien. I understand your mom too. It must be hard for them to accept right?" Clara leaned on Darien's shoulder.

"They will eventually understand." Darien kissed her.

"Darien. Call me up when we are back. I want to sleep." Darien nodded and kissed her forehead.

"I'll call you."

"Mrs. Li. Are you just going to watch them getting married? You promised me that I am going to marry Darien. You need to help me. Please!!! Please!!" Ada begged Mrs. Li.

"Mr. Feng, I need you to do something for me." As Mrs. Li whispered to him, she gave him money.

"Only keep their son. Not her. Since I'm being generous, only hurt her a bit." Mr. Feng bowed and went.

"Mrs. Li. What are you going to do?" Ada was excited to know.

"I'm going to let them hurt Clara but also keeping the child. If I let them both die, Darien would be mad at me." Mrs. Li sips her tea once again.

"No worries, by tomorrow. There will be no more Clara again." Ada smiled, "You are the best, Mother! I'm so happy."

"It will be Darien's first lesson since he won't let go of Clara. It will be his own downfall." Mrs. Li smiled.
