1 Lost
It was a gloomy afternoon with storm cloud rolling in. Juliette arrived at her office just in time.
The weather warned about strong thunderstorm and high wind. She was lucky to escape all of that.
The office was quiet most of the time but today it was especially loud.
"What happened today?" She asked.
"You didn't hear it on the news?" One of the employee said.
Juliette shook her head.
"The CEO's son is missing." It took Juliette few seconds to wrap that around her head.
"Missing? How?"
"It was this morning. The CEO found out his son wasn't at home. He contacted few of his close people and they all cannot find him." One of them said.
"That's strange. Where's the kid's mother?" Juliette asked.
"She passed away." One of her colleague said.
"You might've not known because you came a bit later when this happened. Such a tragedy. The CEO is young and still not married yet he still cares for his child."
"That is quite sad. I hope they find him soon." Juliette sighed as she went back to work.
"Too bad we never saw his pictures before. I heard he is so handsome." One of the younger girls said.
"Handsome or not.. his child is missing. Be a little respectful you guys." Our manager was standing there watching us.
Juliette sat there and started working on her reports.
Several hours later...
"Juliette, can you drop these off when you head out today?" The manager asked.
"Sure will."
When going to the lobby, lots of people were squished inside the elevator making her slightly claustrophobic.This isn't a surprise since work is over. Juliette sighed and exited the elevator when she arrived at the lobby.
Then, she spotted a young boy around 4 or 5 running towards her.
"Mommy!" The child ran to Juliette making her very surprised and awkward. Juliette hugged back lightly and said, "Sorry, I think you've mistaken me for someone else."
Few seconds later...
"Little child, are you lost?" She asked.
The child shook his head.
"Mommy! Mommy!" The little boy held onto Juliette tightly.
"Daddy told me to find you."
