4 Chapter 04 - Healing
I bend down to the unconscious demon and point my palm near her forehead.
"I wish this would work, Heal," I said to myself. A halo formed on my palm then the energy from my body push forward and covered the demon's whole body.
The black four arms at her back began to disintegrate little by little pushing my hopes up. Her skin slightly changes color, I don't know if that is a good sign, I tried to keep supplying the energy need to heal.
She began to regain her consciousness, her eyes look different, more normal..."Umm, Where am I?" The girl said in a weak voice.
No more changes are happening to the girl's body so I stop using heal. That whole healing process took about five percent of my reserves.
As soon as I stop healing her eyes slowly turned back into the demon's eyes once again.
"Arggh! Make it stop! What is happening," She said, I tried to apply heal again just to ease her pain, more experiment is needed...or I need a higher healing skill.
She began to stabilize after a few seconds of applying heal again, My theory is my current skill cannot completely turn her back, but as long as I can supply the energy she will retain human.
She looked at me with a tired expression then weakly closes her eyes. Her tears began to flow and said, "please just kill me, The demon already slaughter my entire family..."
I see...she started to remember her past, If I am not wrong there are only a few demons that can turn humans into demons and they are extremely powerful. They are at the top of the food chain, powerhouses.
I can't save her, My energy is limited, I cannot use heal forever. I also cannot travel with her and contain her every time I switch places.
There is only one conclusion that I can make right now, at least she will die a human.
"Requiescat in Pace, your help for this experiment will greatly help humanity, Thank you," She gave me a sad smile, I stop using heal and pierce her brain with my finger, killing her painlessly.
I dig a grave for her to rest peacefully. Right now I am too weak to make changes I need to improve my skills and mastery fast.
I left the scene with a heavy heart, I know that demons needed to be killed, I have no choice.

It is still night when I successfully reach my destination, Mt. Sagiri.
I saw the infamous house of Sakonji Urokodaki, I can feel two-person inside of it. I walk towards the door and tried to knock to announce my presence but before I can do that an old-man voice resounded.
"You can enter..." He said, I breath then open the door and saw two persons.
Nezuko and Urokodaki. So right now Tanjiro is on the peak of the mountain and trying to pass Urokodaki's test.
I really sympathize with Tanjiro, he is a great kid, a great man.
Urokodaki is wearing his signature tengu mask, while Nezuko is sleeping in a stripe black and green futon.
"Let me start by asking why are you here?" Orokodaki started to question me. His tone is relaxed but I can tell that he is already measuring me.
"Demons," I said a single word, That word managed to get the full attention of Urokodaki.
"So you met them and survive, how come?" Urokodaki questioned me seriously.
"Because I need to survive, I might know a way to turn demons into humans," I go straight to the point, this world is not a slice of life.
"What did you say?" Urokodaki raises his voice that Nezuko slightly reacts, He stands up and stares at me.
"I can temporarily turn demons back into humans, But I still need to improve my technique so they can permanently save," I said, I only watch these people on my laptop but right now I can talk to them.
They are real, I know that did not know me but I know what they experience in life.
Urokodaki just stares at me, I can feel doubt is lingering all over him. I can't blame him if some random man said this to me, I will doubt him too.
"Show me..." Urokodaki said seriously.

It's been three days since Urokodaki and I met.
At first, Urokodaki is really doubting my statements, He joins me for a demon hunt that night, Urokodaki's sense of smell is amazing he manages to find a demon in the forest.
I showed Urokodaki my strength which greatly shocks him because I am not even using any breathing techniques.
After knocking the demon down, I began to perform the healing process.
Urokodaki's reaction is amazing, Even though I can see his expression because of his tengu mask.
"Young man, Thank you, I can now see some light because of what you showed me," Urokodaki said.
"So what now, I still need to train, to improve my skills," I said to him,
"I will contact the Corps, but first, we still need to kill him right?" Urokodaki questioned, I think he is hoping that I will disagree, Killing a demon is easy for him but killing a human is a different matter.
I resolve my heart and said, "Yes, After I stopped my healing process, he will turn into a demon in seconds."
Urokodaki sighs and said, "I will do it, You can go back into my house and take a rest, I can see you are quite tired."
I thank him for that, I don't want to kill another human. It is been a long month. Knowing the events of Demon Slayer, I need a proper rest.

I also made friends with Tanjiro but our time is limited due to his constant training. Nezuko is still sleeping, I bet I can speed up her recovery process by transferring her some of my energy.
He is still not informing me about the Demon Slayer Corps' response to his report but I know they will send someone to confirm it real soon.
He never asked about my healing powers, but I know he is reserving that question when the Demon Slayers arrive.
I finished my training today, right now I will ask Urokodaki if I can learn his breathing technique.
I patted the sleeping Nezuko, then left the house, Urokodaki sure is a diligent trainer.
