3 Luna's Birthday

Sprinting in the hallway, Luna's mood is very great today.

''Hehe...'' She giggled excitedly as it was her birthday party today, and she have a lot of expectations.

She's in a state of adrenaline rush.

Who wouldn't be excited about it? She will gain many friends! Or allies that can help her family in the future.

But as the heir of her family, she has to be careful of choosing friends as her graceful Mother warned her.

'It's great to have many friends until they backstab you. Luna, not every individual in your party has the same intention as you. They can pretend well to court your favor so always be aware of someone you interact with.'

She followed her mother's warning as she agreed and nodded with a serious expression on her face.

She hugged her mother one more time and thanked her before running out of her bedroom with a less exciting atmosphere she kept emitting than before.

It's kind of sad that the outside world is not what she thinks of...

But enough of that as not everything is evil! There are good individuals too with good intentions like her family.

'Like the nannies here...' Luna assured to herself.

She then saw a beautiful female servant, cleaning the window as she approached the servant with a smile on her face.

''Good morning, Miss Lisa!'' With her bubbly personality, Luna greeted the servant with a big smile on her face.

The servant stopped what she was doing and smiled, she then greeted back.

"Good morning too, Young miss." She greeted while bowing in front of Luna.

It's a normal thing to do when her rank is just a mere servant.

But Luna isn't comfortable seeing them lower themselves before her, but she can't do anything about it.

It's a normal thing in nobility and she can't change it.

Sylvia's family members are fast to grow and more mature than normal beings, almost as if they are destined for greatness as they developed at an early age.

This is the reason why she and her other older sisters don't have the thoughts of a normal young noble as they noticed things surrounding them.

With a tired expression on her face, Luna sighed.

"Sigh... Miss Lisa, you don't need to bow yourself like that." She already repeated this many times and they still won't listen! It's not like there's another noble here that will witness the servants that aren't doing their role properly so why do they keep disobeying her?

The servant, Miss Lisa sighed tiredly as her young miss is too stubborn.

"Young miss, it will tarnish your family's great reputation if we didn't do the simple and normal thing to do for being a servant when it's in the noble's presence," Lisa explained carefully to Luna with a serious expression on her face.

She felt her young miss is too kind.

It's great personality as she preferred this over cold Luna but it has a major flaw.

Too naive! She can be taken advantage of by her kind personality in the future or even today.

"I know, but should we look down on our own kind? It just felt weird..." Luna tried to reason her thinking which she refused.

Shouldn't humans help each other for the better? Isn't this the main reason why Humans are one of the most prosperous races in the world? By uniting each other?

The look of her Young miss unmoving expression made Lisa sigh.

"It's great you have that trait of personality but I considered you need to look at human's dark history first, which the Mistress won't let you nor the Duke either," Lisa said as she approached another window.

"Maybe," Luna spoke with a smile on her face.

She knew that Lisa is helping her to know better, it's the reason why she agreed to her suggestion.

"But don't take my suggestion a little too early, you know? I might get fired or worse, executed if you changed." Lisa chuckled at her joke as Luna pouted.

"You shouldn't joke like that."

"Thanks for the warning, Young miss. Anyway, you can continue on your journey towards your room and be prepared." Lisa said as she picked her cleaning tools up and walk away.

"...." Luna smiled as she look at the slowly disappearing silhouette of Lisa.

She's always thankful to Lisa for giving her advice almost every day when she sees a flaw in her.

'I won't disappoint them.' Luna thought as she made a determined expression on her face.

'But let's enjoy it too.'

She then continued running towards her room.

After a while, Luna finally arrived at the outside door of her room.

It takes 2 minutes as the mansion is huge...

Luna then approached the door and opened it.

'I wonder what dress should I wear today...'

Opening the door, she saw a young maid or her maid that has the same age as her, currently bowing to her.

''Welcome back, Young miss.'' The maid spoke in a neutral tone and a clear happy expression on her small face as she greeted Luna.

Luna smiled, and she greeted back.

Closing the door, she walked towards the changing room with her maid.

"Daisy, I wonder what should I wear today...?"

Daisy or her friend replied as she open the white closet filled with many gorgeous dresses.

"Every dress suits you, Young miss so I don't know what dress stands out for you. Sorry for being useless in this situation."

She bowed with a sorry expression on her face, and that Luna made sighed again.

She then put both of her hands on the maid's cheek as she looked directly into her eyes.

"Daisy, you don't need to bow over that. You are my only friend and it hurts me to see you behave like this. I couldn't help but wonder if our friendship is fake..." She spoke with a hurtful tone as she looked to the side.

"...!" This made Daisy panic.

"I... I..." It's not because of Luna's status she panicked.

"I'm sorry..." It's because their relationship is genuine.

It didn't build up because of Luna's status.

Daisy apologized as she hugged Luna.

While hugging, Daisy didn't notice the smile on Luna's face that looks like 'my plan worked' of Luna as they hugged each other.

After a while of silence, they stopped hugging.

"Young miss, I'm very sorry for... Ignoring your feelings all this time." Daisy bowed again but this time, Luna didn'tstopd her.

"Because you wanted me to talk to you equally... I still can't show it to the public but can you please allow me to talk to you without your status bothering us in secret? When we're only alone. Just together..."

"Hehe-, I the great Luna will allow you." Luna chuckled before playfully allowing her.

"...." Daisy is about to thank her but...

"...!" Suddenly Daisy realized something and looked at Luna with a deadpan expression.

Luna just smirk as she picked the blue dress she saw in the closet

She carefully takes off her clothes as she looked at Daisy.

"Did I got caught~? Oopsie! You can't take back what you said earlier as I already permitted you." Luna said with a smug as she looked at Daisy.

She then continued to undress.

After a while of looking at Luna, Daisy sighed

"I wondered what makes me so special to you? There's an, even more, better maid than me that your family can hire but why me?" Daisy asked as she looked at Luna with a guilty expression.

Her young miss is treating her too kindly when her rank is just a mere personal maid to her.

The kindness of Luna emitted is overpowering her, as she felt guilty about this treatment.

"...?" Luna looked at her with a confused expression.

"Sigh... What makes you think of that when you are one of the most talented people like me in this empire and... You're my friend. My first friend, it's fun to talk with you. This is what makes you so special to me." Luna said with a serious expression on her face as she looked at Daisy.

"I don't know how to ease your guilt but if you wanted to make me happy, be comfortable and talk to me."

As if Luna hit the final nail on the coffin, Daisy began to feel wet in her eyes.

(AN: Did you feel weird at the kid's drama? But just so you know, Luna grows much faster than a normal child. I don't mean physically, I meant mentally. Although fast physical growth is just a bonus as they aged 1.5 times faster than a normal human. The fast physical growth will stop speed running after their physical appearance looked like an 18 years old.)

"You're making me feel even more guilty..." Daisy murmured as she wipes her wet eyes with her sleeves with a smile plastered on her face.

''Did you already receive the gifts of Armstrong Duke?'' The Elderly Head maid asked the other young maid with a strict expression on her face as she looked at her.

''Yes Madam, the elixirs are inside of this ring.'' The Young maid raised her right hand as a small black box suddenly appeared on it.

She gave the box to the Head maid, it contains the ring inside.

''....'' After inspecting it, she gave a nod to the young maid.

Although she can't open the box, she still observed the box using her senses to check whether there was a dangerous thing that can harm the Duke's wife or not.

The Head maid then put her hand on the young maid's left shoulder and praised her for doing a great job.

The Elixirs inside the ring are a very important thing for Luna's growth.

Although the Sylvia Family members can grow 1.5x physically faster than a normal human being, which is their major advantage as they can develop their strength much faster than a normal being,

It also comes with major flaws.

As they grow much faster, their early potential in their childhood is also lost faster.

So... Their early potential won't be fully trained.

It will suck as fully training that early potential can help them grow faster.

They can't fully train all of their potentials without doing any changes inside them as the time is too short.

So... They used growth elixirs.

It fastens their growth by 2.5x faster, very awesome, right?

There are only 2 of them inside the ring.

It's also very expensive and very hard to make.

So they used it wisely and the elixir's effect only lasted for 4 days.

Yes... That isn't enough but it will still train more of their early potential than without the elixirs.

So Sylvia's family members aren't using their full potential yet. Just yet...

The Magic core's role is to keep developing your entire being. Physical, magic, senses, or whether related to you, ANYTHING, will be developed if this Core keeps getting stronger.

(AN: What I mean in this paragraph is that he can develop anything related to his entire being. Weapons, Armor, or any outside objects that aren't from his being does not include getting the benefits.)

The Fifth stage is not the limit yet, there's a requirement you needed to do before continuing going to the Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, and more.

Oh, if it gets destroyed, you won't get stronger anymore and will be considered crippled by many. Although it's almost impossible to destroy it, there's still a chance~
