5 Meeting and Plan

I woke up still feeling sore but rested. Opening my eyes and pushing myself off the ground slowly I heard a rustling noise to my left. Quickly turning my head to look in that direction I finally remembered Eve. I still wasn't sure what to do with her, I mean I didn't want to have to take care of a kid but I also couldn't just leave her.

I abruptly stopped my pondering when I saw her. She still looked scared and held up on of the blasters I didn't put back in my inventory at me. 'She must not trust me I'm not sure what happened to her but I imagine she thinks I'm helping her for my own gain.' I thought as I slowly raised my hands above my head.

"W-Who are you and what do you want with me?"

"It's alright I mean you no harm. My name is Jack And I'm stuck on this planet. What I want is to get a ship from those pirates and get out of here."

"So your not a pirate?"

"Nope I saw you while gathering information and couldn't just leave you there."

She seemed to calm down a bit after that and lowered the gun. But not all the way so I decided to take the initiative.

"Hey why don't we go over there to were I live you look like you need some rest?"

And she really did she must've not slept a wink through the night I kinda felt bad that I just passed out but couldn't really help it. Passing through the vines that covered the door to my base Eve was again surprised by how it looked. I admit it did look weird a futuristic spaceship filled with shinobi survival equipment. I sat down on the sleeping bag motioning for her to sit down as well.

"You know you can't be awake for forever you will need to rest eventually. I know it's not easy for you to trust me so how about you can keep the gun. It might help you feel safer" 'dang I really have no idea how to comfort someone and I don't even know what happened except for the obvious.'

The girl in front of me just started to cry. At first it was just water leaking out of her eyes but then she began to sob, she seemed to have finally allowed herself to relax. I have no idea how to comfort her so I did all I could I suggested she talk about what happened.

Damn after hearing what happened to Eve she finally fell asleep and I now stood there thinking about how I was going to enjoy killing the pirates now. I decided that now would be a good time to go over what documents that I got from the base and make a plan.

It took me 6 hours to read the papers and get a general idea of my plan. The pirates have many bases around this planet and even a large base with planetary shields. I wasn't quite sure what to do with Eve yet though what I had for now was to break out the miners from the base where some of the people from her planet are. Then go to the main base quickly to disable the planetary shield where her mother is in what is most definitely some sort of brothel.

But to do all of those things I would first and foremost need to be stronger. I pulled on my system something I had wanted to learn for a long time but was waiting.
