7 Chapter 7

When Melissa flowed in dance it was as if it were the only way her body truly knew how to speak. She was in the middle of dancing when the crowd begun to whine.They were amazed at how Melissa danced beautifully in front of them. There's nothing to be said and done, Melissa overcome her fear. Melissa's personality and her sensuality burst through into the most vibrant picture of a beautiful soul.

Matthew watched her move to the music filling the school, crackling somewhat from the old cassette recorder. He watches her with those two dusty black eyes. As she turned her eyes caught him standing there, him less adept at hiding in the shadows than she. He dropped his eyes momentarily before looking, his head tilted to one side and a playful smile playing on his lips registered on his face.

Melissa saw how Matthew look at her and it bring shivers down to her spine, his stares seems like undressing her, she won't let him lose her focus. She continued dancing following the beat of the music not caring of his presence at all.

Music, to her, was like turning back the clock, traveling and returning to a previous life full of agony and lost. She embraced the music and in turn the music took control. She found herself in a different world. A world of pain.

Melissa used to be alone. Her father is the only person who took care of her since young, no siblings nor a mother figure when she grow up. Melissa's mother left her when she's five for a reason she don't know. They never have a proper conversation with his father as to why her mother left them. For him, her mother is dead. After her mother left them, he focused on raising Melissa well and never married again. Her father didn't believe in love, doesn't believe in fairytales at all.

When she's young she practice a lot of dancing and acting preparing that one day she would have a chance to act on the stage. Even if there is no certainty that she'll have this opportunity, still she practice a lot when no one is looking. She wanted to feel the characters' spirit in order to express her thoughts through writings.

Melissa poured all the pain into that dance. Her steps lured everyone into believing that she is Vera. If only she is bolder and wiser enough to portray Vera in real life, it would be a dream come true!Vera's character is strong, brave, irresistible, she says what is inside her mind never cared about others suggestion for as long as it benefits her. The only thing she hates about Vera's character is she would do everything to meet her needs by using her body to satisfy her cravings.

Betty is pissed, now she wants to add more spices on Melissa's performance..Intentionally; she secretly place a small marble in the floor that made Melissa stumble.

Fortunately, someone catches her perfectly before she landed into the ground. It's no other than Eric, her prince charming!

Melissa's heart overjoyed. This must be her lucky day! Of all people who could possibly catch her? It was her crush that she admired for too long that caught her perfectly with his wide arms open. She blinks twice to assure herself that she's not mistaken of the person who holds her closely. Gosh! If this is just a dream she didn't dare to wake up.

Disgusment is clearly visible on Matthew's face, seeing the two of them making a moment together. They seemed in love, their eyes were shining brightly while still staring each other for too long.

"Thank you." Melissa said shyly.

"Welcome. Ahmm you are a good dancer Melissa." Eric said with a hint of adoration in his eyes.

No! Matthew wanted to scream in frustration. He couldn't take it anymore! He hates Melissa so much. She's a good liar pretending to be innocent and now her true motives begun to show. What a good actress indeed!

" You look angry?" His friend Bryan pissed him even more. "Don't tell me you're jealous?" He said with a huge smile printed on his lips.

Matthew didn't reply on Bryan statement, instead Matthew shrug his shoulder and leave the place instantly. He need to break that woman's fantasy as soon as possible!
