49 New unit and Leave

This new ability of mine proved itself to be very useful. I could now make two mirrages of myself, or three of my sword. Moreover I could finally start working on the third stage of Elemental coating.

This improved my battle power, but at the same time it did not. If I use the Susanoo, it would be too big for me to coat it. Even though it seems this technique uses no chakra, it is just that it returns to me after use.

But here with the Susanoo if I cannot coat it is because I do not have enough chakra to coat the entire Susanoo. But if I do not use the Susanoo then it powered me up. I still was quite far from my level with Susanoo, but I could at least now take three low S rank without the Mangekyou powers. If I uses it, I would be a little tad stronger than the now dead "Kage killers".

Like I said earlier however my power with the Susanoo did not increase. With only the Susanoo active I was a little inferior to a kage, but with my Susanoo and Time slow I was equal to a Kage going all out.

After unlocking this new ability, I spended the rest of the day with Mikoto. I was impatient to test it on the battlefield. The next day we went to the anbu base as usual, but I was surprised when I saw the mission. It was to escort the Hokage.

Our team was not assigned this mission sincethe one that made me blind. The other members of the team were as surprised and also a little bit paranoid about the mission. We went toward the meeting point and I was surprised to see that there only was Sarutobi, father and another anbu there.

Once he saw us Hiruzen nodded and said" You are in fact here for another reason than what was written on the mission paper. You are here because a new unit has been created in all villages, that is an anbu team protecting the Kage at all times. Your team has been chosen for this."

I was about to argue with him as I did not want to be always watching the Hokage and having no free time, but father added before I could say anything" The team will only be composed of four members, Cat, your team has now been dismissed. We know what your response will be so we won't ask you for the job.

Also, this person here, has already been chosen from another team, so another member of your team will not be assigned. We will let you chose who that is going to be." After he said that I immediatly wanted to choose Wolf, but I did not and turned toward my team first.

I asked" Is there any of you that has a problem with this new position ? I won't force any of you to go. Do not say no only to make me happy." The four shook their head so I said" Then I will be selfish and choose Mikoto to not be on the team."

After that said I looked at my father again and asked" Then what will happen to Wolf and I ?" He replied"You will either stay in anbu and be put in another team, or if you want you can quit anbu and be either on a new squad, or because of your achievements stop fighting and go to the village rest."

I was surprised at that choise and turned toward Wolf. She said" I would like to quit anbu and go back to the village. I am exhausted of all the fight." I was surprised that she wanted to go back to Konoha for that reason. I think it is more that she wants to stay more with Kushina and Minato as they were her two best friends, I do not count as one…

If I did not believe her reason is because our clan is famous for loving fighting. Or maybe it was just me who liked the battlefields and was the abnormal one…

I turned toward my father and said" I would like to quite anbu but stay on the battlefield." The Hokage seemed quite happy that I wished to stay fighting, certainly because of my battle prowess. Mikoto and I departed as we would not escort the Hokage. Once at the anbu base with Mikoto we put our equipment in the locker.

When I put the mask inside, I was a bit sad as it represented a lot to me. We quickly departed to Konoha to make a surprise to Minato and Kushina as they would absolutely not expect us to come see them. We arrived there quite fast since the two of us were fast.

We went toward the training ground as they were always there, Minato training with Kushina, or her just watching. As expected they were there, the two fighting. Kushina was punching hard but Minato was too fast to be caught.

They stopped when they saw us and we began training together. I did spar with them, and was surprised that the two had improved a lot. Minato was now equal to a mid A rank, but the most surprising was Kushina, who now was as strong as Mikoto. That was surprising because Mikoto was as strong as a High B rank.

She became this strong fighting on the battlefield, while Kushina did only trained here with Minato. Apart from sparring I started working on my Elemental coating. I was a bit disapointed to not be able to test the stage 2 water coating on the battlefield, but I would be able to the next day so whatever.

I decided to start working on the third stage of the elemental coating. The first stage allowed me to coat something in contact with my body, the second stage allowed me to coat myself, and the third stage is going to be entirely different.

I could not really call it Elemental coating as it would not make any other coating possibe, it is going to increase my affinity with the elements. Of course once I will have mastered the third stage it will strengthen the previous stages. The special ability granted will be to make an element appear without hand signs, at least that is my guess.
