60 Hide and Fire

When I woke up it already was the next morning and Mikoto was next to me. I just waited in the bed next to her, with the time passing slowly. She opened her eyes and smiled at me. I smiled too and kissed her.

Then I began to speak" I will need to go away for some time for my training. I would like for you to come with me." She was surprised at this so I continued seeing that she did not say no" I will need to train my fire sage mode, and I discovered a place where a mysterious fire is laid. I think that going there wll also help you improve as just staying near it, if you are able to endure the heat, is going to be helpful."

She nodded and did not say a word. I was happy that I would not have to be alone on my training. We ate our breakfest as usual and then went toward the Hokage office. Once there we explained to him again that we would be gone for an unknown period.

After this we did not immediately departed but went to see Minato and Kushina to tell them about the news. They were sad about not being able to see us for a long time but they promised that while we were away they would keep the village safe.

But after this we ended up going to Sakumo to tell him we were going, then another one and another one. In the end we only departed in the evening. Now that my report has been made I could now take my time to go there. We traveled by walking, not even running, and appreciated the view as we were walking toward Suna.

It took us ten days to go there, and luckily we did not encounter any bandits, or any one bothering us. Once there, hand in hand, we entered the cave. We went in shooking off the illusions, and finally got in front of the huge flame.

Because of the increase in affinity with fire I did not even sweat, and just by holding her hand, it s like I transfered my strenght to her as she was not sweating either. We sat on the ground, still holding our hands together.

ON our way I helped her enhance her meditation as I now had decided to not just let sit next to me doing nothing and naturaly absorbing fire essance, but to make her do the same training as me. When I made her feel the fire essence in the air, I was surprised to see that we could train together.

This is what we were doing as first I waited for her to accomodate to the fire essenc before starting to absorb it. With my and the fire's help she only needed ten minutes as she already trained on the way.

As soon as she could we began to absorb the surronding essence. It would first come inside one of our bodies, circulate through it like we were training alone, and then go throug the hands and get into the body of the other. It will follow the same path inside the body of the other, then come back and settle in the body.

This helped a lot as this long thing to describe actually only take little time to be done, and by passing through the bodies it temper them and leave a bit fire essence. Doing this then emplify the effectiveness of the training by a lot.

We continued and stopped only when we had reached saturation. When we finished we went out of the cave as it was not really comfortable to stay within it. We walked a bit and saw a village near. We went toward it and once at the entrance a man outside asked us" What are you two doing here ?"

I looked at him and said" We are a couple who only wants to visits the surrondings." Of course as he was not aggressive I was not either. If this was possible it was because we hid our ninjas uniform and our headband.

He looked at us suspisiously but still let us in. We walked around the village and once inn the local market, we bought some food and also some more furnitures. We had taken some but not enough as it would take too much space. Once all our things needed were buyed, we got out of the village as even if the people were not hostile or aggressive, they were not welcoming.

We came back toward the cave and as it was inside a big rock, there still was plac around to make one. I turned toward another part of the rock and began to make another cave. Once done we put all our stuff inside and stayed in. The rocks had something special as they gave a cold air to the cave, unlike the way too hot weather outside.

After this nothing special happened and before going to sleep we came back to the fire and absorbed fire essence till we saturated. Then days passed and the two of us were advancing quickly. Around a week after going to the village we had no food left, but because of how we were seen by the inhabitants, we decided to hunt for ourselves.

We now were mainly eating scorpions, and also some strange creatures we never saw before. For the water we had no problem as we could create some with water jutsu. I could feel myself improving as time passed and I then was the first to unlock fire sage mode after one year. Because of how pure it was, I did not have any marking on my body like the others time limited sage modes.

The main effect was as expected an enhancement of my body. But of my whole body. I was happy and surprised about what it brought to me. The enhancement made my bodiy strenght go up, but also enhanced my chakra.

It compressed my chakra and made it more concentrated, purer. I now had to use a lot less chakra to perfor a jutsu with the same strenght. Also I am able to use the same amount as before and get a more powerful jutsu. I can now safely say that my jutsu are going to be the best in the world.
