42 Betrothal and Ceremony

Minato was not just any kind of jonin, he was a peak B rank in the Bingo book. I still was S rank, but that is not the point. I just am now strong like I wanted to be. But like I said, we went toward Kushina and we all began to talk. At a moment she suddenly said"Kyo, you know that Mikoto likes you, right?"

I turned toward Kushina" I may be blind, but I am not an idiot. Why are you telling me this ?" Kushina asked me"Do you feel anything for her ?" I shook my head and said" No, I do not love her if that is the question. But that is not because she is bad or anything, it is just that I am not interested in love yet."

Kushina said a bit sad" Well she is in love with you and it is too late now. She told me this morning that she has been chosen to be the next clan head wife, Fugaku Uchiha." I nodded and said " Then I hope she will forgive me and love Fugaku. I think that what she feels for me is not really love but admiration.

But let's stop talking only about me. It pisses me off to see you two like this so I will say it. Kushina, Minato confessed to me that he loves you. Minato, you need to know that she did the same." As I felt two death glare on me, I added"Okay, I will let the two of you alone, I need to prepare for tomorrow."

With that I escaped as fast as I could and went toward the main camp. I already trained long distance travels like this and now I can almost travel like before, just slower. Once there, I went to Sakumo as I knew he would be here. And I was right. I ended up staying all night there. The next morning I woke up and went toward the anbu base.

There I changed myself in anbu clothes as they were put here after my fight. I took my mask in my hands and felt it. Iit was still the same as I could feel the cut on it that was made during my recent fight. Also, I again made my name spread to the entire world for having killed the strongest mercenary group alone.

Now people though that I had strenght equal to the kages… Well they are completely wrong. However, when I will have the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan(EMS), well I know that my eyes powers will have another upgrade, but I do not know by how much.

I think I will be near a "normal" kage level, but not as strong as the Hokage as in this month I was training I heard he went berserk on enemy's troops and proved himself to be so strong that he now was called the God of Shinobi, just like the first Hokage. But Hiruzen told me that he was not anywhere near Hashirama Senju.

So I went to my team's gather point and sensed they still were all there. I went toward them stealthily and appeared like a ghost in the center of their circle. They all jumped back but made shoots of surprise when they saw who it was.

I said coldly "Fish, the mission information was not in my locker. I believe you have it ?" Fish replied in an amused tone"I did not know you were back captain, our mission is just to go circle in the first battlefield. But can I talk to you in private for a second ?" I nodded and we walked off.

As soon as nobody could hear us I said" How were their face ?" Dan replied like exhausted"They were shocked but we are not here to talk about this. I ask you about our eyes, when do we do it ?" I replied " Later, after this mission if you want." Dan replied thrilled"You promise ?" I nodded and we went off.

Once on the battlefield we circled around the forest and once I uunderstood it I made us stop. I told them" You know we can go deeper inside, I am still stronger than you all."Well that was a lie as Fish was stronger and Wolf only a little weaker.

But I did not wait for them to answer and went alone inside the forest. I felt them still in my back. We ran for a long time before coming in front of a team. I locked on them and did hand signs. I released a ajestic fire on them and they all burned to a crisp. We stopped but saw that they all died with this attack

I whispered to myself" Maybe I overdid it a little…" I turned to my team and asked" Who were they ?" Bear answered" Captain, they seemed to only be a chunnin team..."I nodded and we went back.

I killed them instantly as even if I only am as strong as a low jonin in taijutsu, my ninjutsu is still the same. It even upgraded because of my coating. We continued in the forest and today I did all the kills.

We went back the night. I changed myself and followed Dan back to Konoha. There we went to see our mother and asked her about the eyes. We went to a specially made room and the operation began. Mother put a blindfold in front of my new eyes and I had to keep it for two weeks.

So in these two weeks, Dan and I were both blind. I tried to help him as much as possible to adapt to his blindness. His now year long wife, Akina also helped us. We now were helping him for two entire weeks and he could now live by himself because of my own experience.

Today was the day I would see the light of the world again. It was the evening and a ceremony was planed for the occasion. There were a lot of people who came. First there is my family, Minato and Kushina who now were together, Sarutobi and his family, Sakumo and Kakashi as Sakaki tragically died not long ago.

There also was my anbu team. So we were seventeen counting me. And now was the moment awaited. I began unwraping the bandages around my head. They were now on the ground and my eyes closed. I took in a deap breath and opened my eyes.
