Rise of The Web warriors

After sharing what was indeed the most earth-shatteringly amazing kiss with Cindy James was lost. He wanted to talk and figure out why they were so drawn to each other but at every turn, she pushed him away, avoided him at all times never looked in his direction, and most certainly made sure she was never alone with him. She kept her distance from him for 3 weeks and frankly he was over it if she wanted to pretend that what happened on that roof was nothing he would too.

He moves his focus away from her and instead to peter and Gwen Stacy deciding that it would be smart to befriend Peter. He approached the newly born spiderman one day at lunch carrying his tray filled to the brim with lunch and said

"Hey, is this spot taken?"

When asked them the question Gwen and Peter looked up at him surprised that he would want to sit with them of all people. Harry however was annoyed at his presence as he had grasped the attention of everyone at the school with little to no effort while he had to use his family's wealth to entice the popular kids into letting him into their circles.

"Actually I don't thin-"

before harry could reject him both Gwen and peter said "Of course, you can sit here" he responded as nonchalantly as possible "Cool thanks" as he took his seat at the table where he proceeded to spend the rest of the lunch period and got to know both Peter and Gwen and even slightly bonding with them over their shared love comics and videogames. He spent the next 2 months building his relationship with the two slowly fazing Harry out and taking his place as the third member of this iconic trio.

The three of them had actually made plans to go to a local convention where there was supposed to be a book signing by Marlowe Graves the famous author of "Howl Through The Night".

James stood in front of the convention center in his winter coat slightly annoyed at how late his friends were and after another 15 minutes, the duo finally showed up at the convention center.

"Where the hell were you guys?"

"We umm got a little distracted and we're really sorry for being late"

Peter and Gwen looked really sad that they left their friend waiting so long in the cold. Seeing how guilty they looked James decided to let them off the hook by saying "Look since you clearly feel really bad how bout you buy me something to eat and we'll call it even".

The duo looked as pale as sheets at the idea of financing one of the three banquet meals he eats every day.

Before they could even think to object James ran into the convention center and joined the line for the book signing. The two soon joined him in line where they waited for 45 minutes to finally get to the front of the line when all of a sudden

*BAM!* *BANG!*

Outside the convention center, there was a loud bang and explosion whose shock waves were felt by the people who were currently in the center. Instantly both peter and Gwen exchange a look before trying to run off to explore the cause of the massive explosion. The two move as quickly and as quietly away from James as possible to change back into their suits when all of a sudden they hear something.

"AHEM!"

The two flips backward to create space from where they had just heard the noise, they were extremely concerned as they were on a building near the convention center whose roof door was closed when they checked it. The two are even more shocked to see James standing there with an amused smirk on his face.

"I know you two are the spider duo that's been running around the city for the last few months"

"How long have you known?" questioned Gwen a little suspicious of their friend.

"Since the day the four of us got a bit"

"The four of us? what are you talking about" peter asked confused at the idea of two more spider variants.

"The day you and Gwen were bitten I and apparently Cindy moon was also bitten"

"So you have powers?"

"Yes I have but I've been just trying to get used to them"

"Okay now's not the time for this me and Gwen need to go and stop whatever's going on"

"Okay but I'm coming with"

James took off his winter coat but left his gloves on he also brought out a face mask with web patterns on it to cover his nose and mouth. The two looked at his outfit which was more casual than superhero but decided not to comment.

"How are you gonna get there since you don't have web shooters and I don't have any spares" peter posed this question as he realized that their friend doesn't have web shooters like them.

"I can produce my own so come on lets GO!" he ran full speed as he jumped off the building and swung in the direction of the smoke. His two friends just follow his lead as they make their way over to the scene of the crime

Once they make their way to the area where the explosion originated they found the culprits: Rhino, Shocker, and Batroc the leaper a very odd combination of villains who have very little to do with each other this truly was a strange mashup a fact that James made note of before engaging the three criminals. Spiderman took Rhino, and Ghost spider took Shocker which meant that Anansi was left with Batroc.

As Batroc charges at James with a flurry of kicks, James uses his spider sense to anticipate the attacks and leaps out of the way. He then counters with a powerful spinning back kick, catching Batroc off guard and sending him tumbling backward.

Batroc quickly recovers and charges at James again, this time with a series of punches. James blocks the punches with ease, deflecting the blows and delivering his own counter-attacks. He lands a powerful roundhouse kick to Batroc's side, sending him stumbling backward.

Batroc, undeterred, continues to press his attack, using his acrobatic abilities to dodge and weave around James. However, James can keep up with his opponent, using a combination of kicks and punches to keep Batroc on the defensive.

As the battle reaches its climax, James lands a powerful axe kick to the top of Batroc's head, stunning him and leaving him vulnerable. James seizes the opportunity and delivers a final blow, knocking Batroc unconscious and ending the fight.

With Batroc unconscious James webs up his legs and arms to prevent him from escaping when he regains consciousness. James watched the last moments of peter and Gwen's fights where Peter uses the rhino's momentum against him and sends him plummeting to the ground before he finishes him off with a nasty double stomp to his stomach.

Gwen webs up shocker's gloves before pulling him towards her where she knocks him out with a perfectly timed uppercut.

With the villains being stopped the trio swings away into the bright of the day.
