7 80s Hellhole

I've been gone since the end of Black history month and theirs a good reason for that.....

When black history month ends all black people disappear into a void for the proceeding eleven days and we don't return any sooner than that.

But in all seriousness I had school stuff going on this week and didn't have other prewritten chapters to post so that's why I've been gone for a week I'm going to try and post a chapter a day every weekend.

WHOSE BEST GIRL

BLACK CAT

MARY JANE

GWEN STACY/ GHOST-SPIDER

James may very well have been the luckiest guy in all of the marvel universe since he was living the dream of many many many many guys his age by having a secret affair with his super hot teacher. Despite his attempts to not raise suspicion he couldn't help the permanent smile that seemed to be on his face at all times, it had gotten to the point that his two very best friends were scared he was on drugs but nevertheless they were happy that their friend was happy.

In contrast to the absolute bliss that James was in Cindy was in a pit of despair as she began to suspect more and more that her boyfriend was cheating on her. She wasn't completely sure but recently he had pulled away and had stopped public displays of affection was well starting to hand out more with the football team and Flash Thompson. He had even missed a date at their secret spot because of "practice" she was trying her hardest to blame all the weird things he's been doing on something else so that she wouldn't have to face the reality that the guy she had given up so much to be with was stepping out on her.

The paranoia got to a point where she needed to prove that she was wrong so she took his phone from him when he wasn't looking and began scrolling through his messages, and when she found nothing she felt nothing but vindication and relief that he wasn't cheating on her until the phone quietly vibrated in her hand and she saw a message that said meet me at the arcade tomorrow. Her brows furrowed at the message before she took a calming breath and steadied herself to do what needed to be done to forget her insecure accusations.

The next day she approached her soon-to-be coconspirator. She watched him walk out of the bathroom with an extremely satisfied grin on his face. She was a bit annoyed by that shit-eating grin on his face so she asked "What's got you smiling like that?" which caused James to jump as he was seemingly unaware of her presence which was understandable considering she stood at only 5'5 which meant that James had quite a bit of height on her.

"What do you want Cindy, in case you forgot you're supposed to be avoiding me remember". She was getting really annoyed by James but she knew that she needed his help to spy on hector to determine one hundred percent if he was indeed cheating on her.

"Look I really need our help to figure out if someone is lying about something"

James looked thoughtful for a second as he took time to process everything 'How is it that we aren't trying to jump each other's bone considering we've been in pretty close proximity for at least 2 minutes also who does she want me to help her spy on'.

"I'll help you Cindy consider this a favor that I expect to be returned someday down the line"

"Yea sure whatever, look we'll meet at the rooftop where we met last time and we'll go from there"

James smirked at her and said "Sounds like a plan see ya later Cindy" before walking away.

'That was helpful I guess'

After school, the duo reunited at the place where they shared their first kiss. While James had a Cheshire cat grin on his face at the amazing kiss that they shared Cindy was more focused on watching to see which direction hector was going in.

"Follow me" was all she said before she jumped to a nearby rooftop. She and James quietly snuck behind hector for 45 minutes before they arrived at an out-of-the-way arcade that seemed to be perpetually stuck in the 80s. Once he entered the two dropped down from the building they were on into an adjacent alleyway. They left the alley and walked into the arcade which was extremely dark the only major light sourced was from the snack booth and prize station besides those places the arcade was faintly illuminated with glow-in-the-dark stickers that seemed to share a space theme as well as some galaxy strobe lights that did nothing to make the place seem anything else than and 80s Hellhole. Despite the terrible decorations, there were a few children in the arcade playing on the various machines yet Cindy's entire focus was on Hector who had made his way to a booth that was away from the majority of the very few people in the arcade.

James and Cindy follow from a few behind him and sat at a booth one booth over from the one that hector was in. Cindy was looking back every five seconds and was becoming more and more panicked as the seconds drew by eventually, James had enough of this and simply stood up from the booth. At first, Cindy, though he was leaving instead slowly began to grow clearer and clearer until he all but disappeared from her vision. She could still smell the faintly intoxicating smell that she had grown accustomed to smelling from him which was the only indicator that he was still at the booth.

"What are you doing?"

"Well you brought me along to help so I think it's time for me to do my job"

She was about to argue back when she smelled his scent getting further from the booth.

Cindy wanted answers but also wanted desperately to be wrong as she wasn't sure if she could ever face the truth that the boy she went so far for to the point of even hiding him from her strict mother would go and take the year that they were together and throw it away for some other girl.

James stood camouflaged by the booth that contained hector and the other girl, the two were sitting on the same side of the booth and hector seems to be getting really familiar with the girl's underwear if his hand under her skirt could tell you anything. James had the biggest evilest smirk on his face.

'This stupid bastard just delivered Cindy on a silver platter to me, don't worry I'll give you my full thanks in a moment'.

Once James had seen enough he walks past Cindy and into the security office to destroy the tapes containing the events of that day since he wasn't sure if he had camouflaged in the line of sight of a camera. Once he was done he walked back to Cindy and told her what he had seen. He expected her to get angry and march over there and kick the crap out of the girl instead she took in a deep breath fixed her hair slightly checked herself and walked over to the booth containing her soon-to-be ex.

James doesn't think his presence is needed there so he just quietly relaxes in the booth until Cindy comes back over clearly looking distraught but trying her very best to not crumble in such a public place. He gets up out of the booth slipping an arm around her in a consoling way. When they begin to head out all they hear is "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING WITH MY GIRLFRIEND!".

Hector was furious watching Cindy walk off in James' arms he felt embarrassed that she had so ruthlessly yelled at him in front of Cynthia but now she was walking out being consoled by another guy. He ran forward and slugged James in the jaw with all his strength.

James moves away from Cindy and squares up with Hector who just punched him in the face. James didn't bother to even hold back as he punched Hector square in the Jaw and left him knocked out on the sticky floor of the arcade.

'You're welcome for that first punch hector' was the only thought going through his head as he sneered at the laid-out body of Hector Cervantez.

After the short altercation, Cindy and James left walking in silence to the local bus stop until James stops and grabs her by the arm swinging her to a nearby ice cream shop. Cindy just looks at him completely unamused.

"I don't want ice cream, I just want to go to bed and never trust that lying, cheating scumbag ever again"

"Just humor me for a second please" Cindy rolled her eyes but she still proceeded to order a rocky road and James ordered the same thing. The two took their ice cream and sat on a nearby rooftop where they sat in peaceful silence enjoying the splendor of the sunset.

After eating their ice cream Cindy looks over at James and sees a chocolate smudge on his cheek and pointed this out to him "You got some chocolate on your cheek". Despite him practically wiping every part of his face he seemingly missed the spot with chocolate, she reached over and wiped his cheek with a piece of paper before the two locked eyes. The starry night and the beauty of what they just watched may have gotten to them as Cindy and James slowly leaned in their lips just inches apart until they connected once again in a kiss that was far more tender and loving than the last kiss they shared.

AN ~ I was this close to making this chapter a cliff hanger but luckily in my infinite wisdom and graciousness I decided to allow you the honor of a kiss, you are most welcome.

I just wanna see the one guy who took what I said before seriously XD

It would be the funniest to see some dumbass get crazy and worked up over my stupid jokes.
