7 New Ophelia

" Haha " Suddenly , Ophelia started laughing crazily , making everyone shocked except Prince Aaron , he kind of saw this coming .

In a flash , Ophelia stopped laughing and started crying heavily .

" S-So I'm the bad daughter now ? I can't believe this ! Father , sister is the one who threatened me when I saw her with men , how can you believe her when I told you before ? F-Father , how can you say that I was reckless and skipped classes , when I never took classes to begin with ? " Ophelia kept sobbing heavily gaining sympathy from all the people present while skillfully revealing all their lies like candy , unwrapping the layers slowly , but she didn't plan on unwrapping the whole candy today . She's going to wait until she's stronger to destroy this family once and forever .

" What are you saying ?! You dare to lie in front of the royal family ! " Screamed Duke Kade at the top of his lungs while trying to push the royal family to say something and punish Ophelia .

The royal family noticed the change in Ophelia and knew that she had enough , so all three wanted to see how she'll handle it , but didn't expect for the duke to use them as an excuse .

" But I'm not lying . " Ophelia had a pitiful expression gaining even more sympathy .

The royal family kept silent , after all this wasn't their family affair .

" You even brought me to this party as a servant not the eldest daughter ! I can't believe this is how you treat me after Mother died ! " Ophelia knew very well that her mother was a sensitive topic that her father didn't like to be brought up , so she used it against him .

" Don't talk about her ! " Duke Kade raised his hand and was going to slap Ophelia , if it wasn't for Prince Aaron stopping him and ending this drama once and for all .

" Enough of this ! I don't care about all that you said , I already announced that Ophelia will be the one staying at the Palace for 2 weeks whether you like it or not ! " Prince Aaron wasn't defending her , he just got tired of all this and so stopped the drama since he chose her from the beginning for peace and quiet , so how could he just let go of an opportunity to get rid of annoying women even if it was for two weeks .

And so Prince Aaron took Ophelia and left causing Duke Kade to boil from anger since he lost his face .

All the guests left , all the young women were disappointed that Prince Kade didn't choose them while the others were either gossiping about what happened or happy to have seen such a show . Except two people , Ophelia's step-mother and half sister . Her step mother was angry with Duke Kade's reaction to Ophelia's mother , so she guessed that he still loved her while her half sister was jealous and angry at Ophelia , she was obviously more good-looking and talented than Ophelia , so why would the Prince choose her ?!
