Lifes introduction

The cave was too dark to tell colors. She turned and watched the three eggs hatch. Two males and a female appeared from the eggs. She had two brothers and a sister. Hearing a new sound she turned towards it. It was a second adult pseudodragon. This one was flying carrying a big dead rabbit in it's talons. She watched as it landed beside her mom. That must be my dad, she thought.

"Come my hatchlings time to eat" mother said telepathically. Walking over she started eating the rabbit. Slowly the cave started to get lighter. The sun must be rising, she thought to herself. After having her fill she went over to her mom and layed beside her. In the light she could now make out colors and greater details. Her mother was silver and her father was gold. Looking over at her siblings her one brother was red while the other was green and her sister was blue. Curious she walked over to where she heard the dripping earlier. Looking around she smiled, there was a puddle. Reaching the puddle she looked down at her reflection she was multiple shades of purple.

A while later she heard her mom call "Come here, my children". She walked over to were her siblings sat in front of their mother.

"It is time to give you each a name to be known by." mother said. Turning to me she said "I name you Amethyst for you are many shades of purple." Mother looked at my red brother. "You, my son will be Crimson." Turning to my sister mom said, "and you will be Sapphire." She turned to the green hatchling. "You will be Jasper" she said lovingly.

Over the next month, we practiced our abilities and learned new ones. Mother taught us how to fly, sneak, and how to use mana(magic energy found every where). Father started bringing home live prey for us to practice hunting and sneaking as well as to give us experience to level. After we killed three rabbits we gained our first level. Amethyst had noticed she gained exp when she didn't make the kill but still helped. Each time she gained or leveled the system notified her.

"Bing, new level gained" said the system in her head. Smiling she opened her stats page.

Just as she finished reading her stats she heard her mom. "What are your stats Amethyst?" her mom asked. Amethyst read off what her stat page said. Her mom stared at her surprised. "Why are you surprised mom?" she asks. "Your stats are higher than normal for a pseudodragon," she explained. "Would you like help allocating your points Amethyst?" She asked. "No thanks mom I think I got it." Amethyst responded deep in thought.

Amethyst thought back to all her characters she had in her last life. She liked having them well rounded. So she decided to put 2 points in strength to bring it to 16 and 3 into Charisma to bring that stat to 16 as well. She accepted and felt the changes as she glowed purple. The glow wasn't bright it was more like a soft glow of a glowstick.

"Tomorrow we will venture outside our cave" mom told us. Excitedly I ate the rabbit we had killed before curling up in the nest for the night.
