1 The Transfer Student

This fanfiction is about a girl called Lucy Heartfilia and a boy called Natsu Dragneel. In the chapters you will find out all their journeys and things that happen to them. If I make mistakes, sorry.

Today is Lucy's first day at her new school. Lucy lives alone in a rented apartment, since she ran away from home hoping for a new start in life away from her father.

Steadily holding onto the door handle, Lucy took a deep breath before opening the door, and walking in. Awkwardly, everyone in the class stared blankly at her as they didn't have a slightest clue on who she was. Trying her best to ignore all the stares Lucy unpacked her bags and sat down at her desk by the window. Staring blankly out of the window Lucy waited until the teacher came in, until.

Natsu: Uhm, thats my seat.

Confusingly Lucy looked up at him.

Lucy: Oh, sorry. I didnt know.

Natsu: [Blushing] *Man, shes kinda cute looking* Its ok, you can stay there.

Natsu quickly went off to sit in another seat behind her. Sitting back down whilst putting everything back onto the desk, Lucy let out a small quiet sigh and stared back out of the window.

— 15 minutes later —

Sensei: Hello everyone. Welcome back to school.

As the teacher was talking, Lucy had blanked out in her own thoughts.

Sensei: Please welcome our new transfer student, Lucy Heartfilia.

Blanked out in her thoughts she ignored the teacher and carried on staring out the window.

Sensei: [Cough cough] Welcome our new transfer student, LUCY Heartfilia.

As Lucy heard her name she quickly stood up in a panic.

Lucy: Hi.. [smiling awkwardly]

Looking around she saw everyone staring at her, a couple of people had started laughing too. Sitting back down, Lucy stared at the desk in embarrassment.

— After class —

The class had finished, everyone had left the classroom except for Lucy. As she was walking down the hallway to her locker, a group of people had stood in her way.

Lucy: Excuse me, can I get passed please.

She said as she looked at them with a smile on her face.

The leader of the group was Laxus, also known as the principles grandson.

Laxus: No can do newbie.

Lucy: [Smiling with a glare in her eyes] I said.. please can I get through.

The students crowded them, watching their every move. Getting in a steady stance, Lucy prepared for an attack but instead this happened.

Principle: Thats enough!

Walking with his hands behind his back, Makarov made his way through the crowd.

Makarov: Laxus, don't you think you caused enough trouble for this girl already? Now everyone carry on with what your doing.

Turning back around, Makarov walked away leaving everyone in a shock.

Laxus: You had it lucky this time newbie.

He said whilst walking away with his lackeys.

Letting out a big sigh Lucy approached her locker and put her bag away.

Natsu: Hey, loopy.

Stunned Lucy turned to face him.

Lucy: My name, is Lucy. LUCY.

Rubbing his head Natsu apologised.

Natsu: Anyway, [Blushing] want me to show you around?

Lucy: Uhh... [Blushing] Its ok [smiling] * I hope I didn't offend him*

As he heard Lucy say that he looked down at his feet.

Natsu: O-oh ok. *Crap why did I say that*

Whilst they stared down at the ground in embarrassment, a while haired girl had approached them.

Lisanna: Natsuuu~~

Running up to him Lisanna grabbed onto his arm as if shes trying to show Lucy that he belongs to her.

Natsu: Oh hey Lisanna, why don't you let go of my arm. I told you before that I didn't like you doing that.

Looking down at the ground Lucy felt some sort of pain and jealousy in her heart.

Lucy: * What is this feeling*

Holding her heart she stared down at the ground confusingly.

*Badump Badump*

Natsu: Lisanna, get off me.

Lisanna: But natsuuu~~

In a state of shock of anger and jealousy Lucy raised her head and accidentally said aloud

Lucy: He clearly told you to get off of him, so get off.

Realising what she had sent Lucys face turned red and she started to blush.

Natsu on the other hand, saw what she did and started to blush.

Angrily Lisanna stood in-front of Natsu

Lisanna: I don't think I've seen you here before. What gives you the right to tell me to get off my boyfriend?

Natsu: Oi-oi Lisanna stop saying we're dating.

Looking up with the confidence she gained back Lucy pointed at Lisannas face and said.

Lucy: Well, if he is your boyfriend maybe respect him a bit and lis-

Being rudely interrupted by Mirajane, Lisannas older sister. Lisanna ran off in a hurry.

Lisanna: Bye Natsuu~~ [Trying to pull a cute expression]

Furiously, Lucy clenched her fists.

Natsu: He-Hey I'm sorry about her, she thinks we're dating when we're really not.

Lucy: Its fine.

Slamming her locker shut, Lucy gave Natsu a final smile and walked off.

Lucy: *This feeling in my heart wont stop* [blushing] * that wench acting all high and mighty*

Walking into the distance Lucy disappeared from Natsu's sight.
