2 Chapter One.

Leaving the safety of home.

I start to awake with the sun coming through the blinds I grab my lavender thin rim glasses and carefully put them on, 'this is the day my sister and I finally go to our new house and go to University,' I breathe out a sigh of excitement and decide to go to the almost empty bathroom. "I'm scared and excited," I say laced with my Aussie accent to myself in the mirror with a whisper tears start to come to my kinda greyish blue eyes thinking 'I'm a big girl now I can do this,' I breathe out a sigh of encouragement and continue to look at myself gathering my appearance I'm 5'-1" foot Caucasian woman, my dirty blonde layered long hair with the fringe being a dark blue that structures my round face perfectly, my nose is a medium with bulb at the end, my lips are small with the bottom lip being a bit more plump and is chapped because I chew my lip, my weight is average that fits perfectly with my pear figure. I decided to go back to my bedroom and walk to my closet to grab a black T-shirt with the red Targaryen sigil. I take off my blue pajamas and put on the shirt and grab my dark blue bootcut jeans and slip on some black heeled boots. I look around my room letting it sink in again breathing a sign I go out of my room to the hall with the white wall painted recently, smiling at the recent memory that feels like yesterday to continue walking through the hall to the kitchen I notice no one is here. "Ah I'm the only one awake, amazing," I mutter to myself sarcastically thinking for a moment I decide to make some pancakes for the family. "Your awake and cooking," I hear an amused voice of my sister, Pheobe who also has an Aussie accent as well, I turn around to look at Pheobe who is 5'- 8" Caucasian, skinny with medium blonde hair and a red dyed fringe, light blue eyes oval face shape wearing a lovely black knee length flowy dress showing her curves its sleeveless she's also wearing a black long cardigan and thigh high lace up in the front heeled boots. I waving a spatula in my right hand and saying, "one of our favourites, pancakes," I smile at this which she returns a bit. "Oh cool I will get the plates and see if Mum and Dad are awake," Pheobe mentions, I hum in response. She brings 4 square plates with a tiny dip in the middle out and place them on the table then she disappears to the hallway. As I start putting 3 golden pancakes per plate, I go to the freezer and bring out some delicious looking choc chip ice cream and put 3 scopes on each plate as I grab out 4 forks. I start to hear footsteps as they come closer, "good morning parent's I have made breakfast, "I say a little bit to cheerful our mother is well our mother she's got an Aussie accent too and our dad is technically our step father he has an American accent amazing man just wish he was serious at times since well he is more of a goofball. "See I knew you would make a great housewife," Dad says playfully, I roll my eyes at this. We sit down on the chairs and we all start eating our breakfasts. I ate quietly but I could her someone chomping a bit louder the rest after finishing I decide to start cleaning the dishes and putting them in the dishwasher. "Are you two excited and ready for college," Dad ask. "Yes so many times yes and its University," Pheobe replies happily with sass, we all know why she's excited. After this I decide to walk to my birds to see how their doing the birds we have coming with us are two Grand-Vosmaer's Eclectus parrot female they are also sisters much like us their names are Scarlet mine and Jasmine Pheobe's, Scar and Jas for short. I start get with my two lovebirds Cain who is a beautiful cream coloured with a purple rump and an orange band on the top of the head and Abel who is a beautiful white and blue pied my pretty boys. Now those are my beautiful companions and children. Pheobe has two dogs one is known as Lilly she is a golden Labrador retriever mix and then she has Wolfy a grey husky both lovely and loyal to Pheobe then we have Pheobe's three tarantulas Tippy an Arizona Desert Blonde, Baboon her Socotra Blue Baboon and her Goliath Bird Eater who I call Big Girl. The tarantulas are already there so it's just us traveling with the birds and dogs. I decide to get back to the family carrying a bird bag pack that holds my lovies along with to another big bird bag pack for Scar and Jas they do surprisingly get along. "I see someone's ready," Mother mentions. I look up and smile before saying, "yes there all ready for a new journey, hopefully I am too," I gently place the one in my hand down before hugging my mother which was a bit awkward thanks to the bag on my back and giving her right check a kiss. I see Forest a green Solomon Island mix Eclectus male, he inches away before I place a delicate kiss to his green head "I'm gonna miss you too baby boy," I say smiling sadly. "We're going to miss you both at home, do well in University," our Mother says as she goes up to Pheobe giving her a hug before picks up Forest "I'm gonna miss you baby boy," she says before littering him with kisses. "we are going to miss you too Mummy, I love you lots" I say with a big smile. After this our Mother nudges Dad who is silently trying to stop the tears of happiness escaping his blue eyes. "Dad it's alright we are still going FaceTime anyway," I say as I walk up to him and give him a hug. "So what's this city you two are going to again?" He questions. I respond with "Mythic City, I believe." I see Pheobe giving Forest back to mum before disappearing in the kitchen. "Is Pheobe's pups ready?" He questions while Pheobe steps in with Lilly and Wolfy in their respective harnesses all ready to go. "Good, do you remember the rules," he asks. I let an exasperated sigh escape before saying, "make sure to call and face time as often as you can, plus please document everything," Pheobe chuckles while I shake my head, "like I'm gonna do that," I whisper out before realizing I said that out loud my eyes go possum like before shaking my head, "Bye Mummy, bye Dad, love you both," I rush out as we exit the house with our companions hoisting them up and into our White Sedan. After putting the dogs and birds in I look back at our parents and our house which is basically a Medium size greenish house and start waving good bye with my eyes watered with unshed tears and start the engine for our journey to our new home in Mythic City.
