Chapter 8: Youthful Training

The sun, in all its radiant glory, casts a brilliant glow on Boruto, who stands poised on the shimmering surface of the water. His silhouette, a stark contrast against the dazzling backdrop, is a sight to behold.

As he stands there, a tumultuous storm brews within him. His chakra, the vital force that fuels his being, spirals into a state of chaos. It's a deliberate act, a part of his rigorous training regimen. He's pushing his limits, testing his control over the volatile energy coursing through his veins.

In this moment, Boruto is not merely standing on water; he's balancing on the thin line between control and chaos. He's juggling two tasks simultaneously, a testament to his determination and resilience. His focus is unwavering, his resolve unshakeable. He's not just training his chakra control; he's sculpting his destiny, one ripple at a time.

Suddenly, a clone of Boruto appears, announcing his arrival with confidence, "I have arrived."

Boruto, in an attempt to maintain his cool demeanor, swiveled around and responded, "Great-" His words, however, were cut short as he lost his focus and tumbled into the water with a splash.

His clone, witnessing the spectacle, couldn't help but burst into laughter. Even Boruto, emerging from the pond, let out a chuckle at his own expense.

"Dammit," Boruto muttered, shaking his head at his lapse in concentration.

"If this happened in front of others, we'd be the laughing stock," his clone remarked, still chuckling at the memory.

"Haha, true," Boruto agreed, pulling himself out of the pond. He then spread his arms wide, signaling his clone to proceed with the next part of their training.

With a swift motion, the clone activated the Wind Style: Breakthrough. A gust of wind swept over Boruto, the force of it drying him off in an instant. The wind whipped around him, tousling his hair and clothes, but he stood firm, a determined smile playing on his lips.

"Man, that's chilly," Boruto exclaimed, his body shivering from the cold. "I think I need to pee."

"Go ahead," his clone suggested, nodding in agreement.

"Right," Boruto said, heading towards a nearby tree. After relieving himself, he used a simple Water Jutsu to clean his penis, ensuring he maintained his hygiene even during training.

Once he was done, he walked back to his clone. "Finished?" the clone asked.

"Yeah, so what did you find?" Boruto asked, curious about the clone's findings.

"The human body data is a bit outdated, but not by much. The Chakra information, however, is much more interesting. I'll disperse now, and you'll understand what I'm talking about," the clone said, setting down his backpack before dissipating into a puff of smoke.

As the clone disappeared, his memories and experiences flowed into Boruto, giving him a sudden influx of knowledge.

"Ahh, that's what he meant," Boruto said, finally understanding the clone's earlier words.

Intrigued by the possibilities, Boruto decided to create another clone to continue their discussion.

"So, what's our next move?" the clone asked, eager to explore their options.

Boruto pondered for a moment, his brows furrowed in deep thought. "Even with the newfound knowledge, I'm not entirely sure. We could attempt to develop a healing aura. With our innate talent, we could potentially create it effortlessly. However, given its complexity, it might take around five months or so to master," Boruto explained, weighing the pros and cons.

His clone sighed, a hint of frustration in his voice. "I really wish we had more chakra to create additional clones. It's holding us back," the clone remarked, expressing their shared sentiment.

Nodding in agreement, Boruto suggested, "Perhaps we should seek the guidance of Might Guy. By harnessing both physical and spiritual energy, we might be able to increase our chakra capacity."

The clone raised an eyebrow skeptically. "Won't that be challenging? We all know how intense their training sessions can be," the clone pointed out, aware of the grueling workouts that Guy and his team were known for.

"We don't have many alternatives to boost our chakra reserves. But if it works, it will make our journey to becoming stronger much more manageable. Just imagine if Naruto were to marry Karin; our chakra levels would be off the charts," Boruto mused, considering the potential benefits.

"Sadly, that's true. But we do possess the Hamura's chakra within us, and even though it may be a small amount, it's still a fair trade-off," the clone acknowledged, acknowledging the significance of their unique heritage.

"Alright, let's go find Guy and see if he can help us," Boruto declared, determination evident in his voice.

"Sounds good. I'll go ahead and scout for his whereabouts," the clone replied, flickering away in a burst of speed.

Boruto reached into the backpack and pulled out a worn notebook, flipping it open to the pages his clone had filled. He carefully secured the backpack on his shoulders, ensuring he had all the necessary tools for his search. With the notebook in hand, he began his quest, flickering around the town while scanning through the written information.

As he read the notes, Boruto couldn't help but express his surprise. "I'm a bit taken aback by the outdated data on the human body, but I guess it makes sense. They didn't have advanced scanning technology yet," he muttered to himself, absorbing the knowledge as he continued his search for Guy.

The two Borutos diligently scoured the area, their eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of the green-clad mentor. Finally, the real Boruto's sharp gaze caught sight of a familiar figure. It wasn't too difficult to spot an adult dressed in vibrant green, sitting in a wheelchair.

Keeping his distance, Boruto discreetly dispersed his clone, not wanting to draw unnecessary attention. He observed the situation from afar and noticed that Guy was accompanied by his other student, Rock Lee.

With a burst of energy, Boruto leaped down from above, landing directly in front of Guy. The sudden appearance caught Guy off guard, but he couldn't help but appreciate the youthful entrance.

"Youthful entrance, not bad, Boruto," Guy complimented, a gleam of admiration in his eyes. "So, is there something you want to ask?"

Lee, standing beside Guy, looked a bit confused, unsure of why Naruto's son was here and making such a bold request.

"Guy, or should I say Guy-sensei, please allow me to become your student," Boruto earnestly requested, determination shining in his eyes.

A wide smile spread across Guy's face as he listened to Boruto's request. "Sure, your eyes are already filled with youth and determination. It would be a shame to reject such a passionate youth. From now on, you will be my student," he declared, standing on one leg to emphasize his words.

As Guy settled back into his wheelchair, he asked, "Does Tenten know about this?"

"No, not yet. But I believe everything will work out," Boruto replied confidently, trusting that Tenten would understand and support his decision.

"Great! Are you free now?" Guy asked eagerly, his excitement palpable.

"Yeah, I have until 3 pm, as I have to go train with Tenten-sensei," Boruto replied, aware of his upcoming training session but willing to make time for his new mentor.

Lee, filled with joy at the prospect of Guy gaining a new student, approached Boruto and extended his hand for a handshake. "I am Rock Lee, your senior. Nice to meet you, Boruto," he greeted with a warm smile.

Boruto returned the smile, shaking Lee's hand firmly. "I know who you are, Lee-san. I'm Uzumaki Boruto, Guy-sensei's new student. It's nice to meet you," he responded, acknowledging Lee's reputation and showing respect for his senior.

Tears welled up in Guy's eyes as he witnessed the camaraderie between his new student and his esteemed disciple. "Such youth! Alright, let's start our training with handstand walk around Konoha!" he declared, his voice filled with enthusiasm.

As Boruto heard Guy's plan, a sense of trepidation washed over him. In his mind, he couldn't help but think, 'Fuck, what have I gotten myself into?'

....

After completing a grueling session of handstand walks, Boruto's hands throbbed with soreness. Exhaustion washed over him, and he could feel his energy waning. His clone diligently worked to heal his fatigued body, providing much-needed relief. Despite the fatigue, Boruto felt a sense of accomplishment knowing that he had pushed himself to complete the entire laps, even though it was challenging for a beginner.

Both Lee and Guy were astonished to see Boruto's proficiency in Medical Jutsu at such a young age. The surprise was evident on their faces as they exchanged glances.

"You can use Medical Jutsu?" Lee asked, his curiosity piqued.

Boruto nodded, a hint of pride in his voice. "Yeah, I learned it from my mother. However, I wish to learn from more experienced practitioners so that I can further improve my skills in Medical Jutsu," he explained, eager to expand his knowledge and refine his techniques.

Guy and Lee admired Boruto's determination and drive. Guy's eyes gleamed with pride as he spoke. "Your youth burns with intense passion. I am proud of you, Boruto. I will ensure that you become the best in Taijutsu," he declared, his voice brimming with confidence and encouragement.

Lee chimed in, realizing the time constraint. "Isn't your training with Tenten about to start soon?"

Boruto's eyes widened in realization, and he muttered a curse under his breath. Turning to Guy and Lee, he expressed his gratitude but also his concern. "Thank you both, but is it possible for us to start our training at 8 am instead?"

Guy and Lee exchanged glances, their smiles widening at Boruto's honesty and lack of excuses. Guy nodded, his eyes shining with pride. "Yosh! The flame of youth burns brightly in Boruto's heart. I'll meet you at your house tomorrow. Make sure to have a good breakfast before we begin our training," he declared.

Boruto grinned, understanding Guy's intentions. "That's exactly why I want to start at 8 am. I'll head out now, as I don't want to risk making Tenten-sensei angry by being late. See you guys tomorrow."

With a flicker of speed, Boruto disappeared, leaving both Guy and Lee amazed by his skills.

"He already knows the Body Flicker Technique?!" Lee exclaimed, his eyes wide with astonishment.

"That just shows how dedicated Boruto is," Guy remarked, a mix of admiration and excitement in his voice. "Alright, Lee, let's begin our training. We'll do 1,500 laps around Konoha!"

"Yes, Guy-sensei!" Lee replied enthusiastically, ready to embark on their intense training session.

As Guy and Lee, both clad in their signature green attire, began their handstand walks around Konoha, Boruto arrived at the designated training spot to meet Tenten.

Tenten couldn't help but notice the exhaustion etched on Boruto's face and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"

Boruto managed a tired smile and reassured her, "I'm fine, Tenten-sensei. I just finished a small training session with Guy-sensei."

Tenten facepalmed, realizing what had transpired. "Did he ask you to join his training?"

Boruto shook his head, his determination evident in his voice. "No, I volunteered to become his student. I wanted to challenge myself and learn from the best."

Tenten understood Boruto's motivations but couldn't help but express her concern. "His training is notoriously grueling. I've experienced a taste of it myself when I was a Genin. It's incredibly tough. Are you sure about this?"

Boruto's resolve remained unwavering as he replied, "Yes, Tenten-sensei. I'm fully committed. Let's start our training."

Tenten smiled, appreciating Boruto's determination. "Alright then, let me bring out the weapons we'll be using today."

As Tenten prepared the training equipment, she couldn't help but wonder if Boruto would eventually give up on training with Guy-sensei. 'I wonder if he'll still be as enthusiastic in a few days,' she mused silently to herself, curious about the challenges that lay ahead for her ambitious student.
