Chapter 16

I sat down on a left-over log from making the fence around the bunker and used my relaxed state to delve deep into in the magic within my body as I came back to, I raised my hand, and it was wreathed in wood that encased my hand and as I put the wood covered hand against the cut-off log I could feel a drain as the wood energy within me was sent into the tree and I could sense the androids gasping as the tree sprouted lively new branches and roots that broke into the ground bringing the large log back to life.

"Well looks like farming won't be an issue," I muttered writing down my findings.

Now for something more destructive. Wait first thing I need to test is whether I am immune to whatever elemental effects I summon.

Breaking off one of the branches from the new tree I made I bathed it in fire from my hand and I learned that elemental magic purely made by me won't hurt me but whatever environmental changes said magic may bring I will not be immune as I could feel the heat steadily growing from the branches natural fire.

Seeing the proof of my tests I switched over from fire and made electricity spark between my fingers.

'OK so long as I don't make physical contact with said machines, I won't be harmed by my magic unless some shrapnel hit me.' I thought of making a pole of solid lightning in my hand, I wanted to make a blade but I could see I was going to need a lot of work if I wanted to make detailed constructs with my abilities. Makes you wonder how long it took for Master Xehanort to learn how to make fully functioning machines out of his magic.

But I was already able to copy Xemnas a bit as I made solid poles of fire and with their heat it wasn't all too different from a lightsaber with how it could cut through solid rock with a bit of effort not to mention I could launch said blades at people.

"A2 can you fight my guardian?" I asked manifesting the being behind me and making it move around to stand in front of me but sadly I was unable to make it move more than ten meters away from me before what felt like a firm chain around my soul jerked.

A2 grimaced and before she could deny saying she was going to hurt me I cut her off. "I will not be getting involved but I need to know how strong it is and how good its instincts are as it passively defends me.

She just helplessly nodded and as I stood to the side giving them a good bit of room. I ordered the shadow creature to attack her to start it off, and within a blink, it teleported into to A2's shadow and picked her up by her foot with both of its arms and as it raised her up to obviously smash her onto the ground like the Hulk manhandled Loki, A2 kicked the guardian in the face making a loud boom as she didn't hold back at all.

The Guardian even though looking completely uninjured by the powerful kick let go of A2 who swung her sword at it and, the Guardian responded by wreathing its fist in black flames and violently arcing lightning and punched her sword.

It was the sound of metal ringing as A2 was pushed back by the force of the punch and as she expertly attempted to parry the overpowering punch by tilting her body to the side to sidestep the blow she was surprised when the ground became pure black and solid spikes of shadows attempted to lance her.

Her Pod now joined the fight by shooting a powerful beam of energy straight into the pool of darkness at A2's feet and the shadow lances broke into little motes of ashes as they lost their connection to the pool of darkness.

"Hah!" A2 yelled and brought her Great sword down on the guardian with a double-handed swing with all her strength and even my Guardian seemed to understand trying to meet said blow with pure force was the wrong move as it floated backward to dodge and manifested two large balls of dark lightning beside it and threw them to meet her blow and the resulting explosion ended the bout as the forced me back and it was only the hastily raised barrier of light that stopped the rocks and shrapnel being launched at me but still ended pushing me and the barrier back a few meters back and the Guardian, silently teleported back behind me to resume its purpose of protecting me.

"You ok A2?" I asked seeing the dusty android walk out of the little smoke screen and she nodded smiling, obviously happy at being able to fight such an unorthodox foe.

"Yeah, that was a pretty good warm-up. but I am curious how strong it would be if it wasn't tied to being so close to you." She mused and soon enough the twins ran over and brushed off the dust that got onto me from the bout and E6 looked interested in her own bout.

"E6 you want to try?" I offered and she nodded taking her own Great sword off her back.

"Yes, as I haven't seen such an opponent before my programming as a combat model is pushing me to challenge such a strong entity." She explained and I understood as scout models were naturally extremely curious and what would be the value of a combat model who hated combat itself.

While E6 and my Guardian started their own bout I just relaxed and laid my head into A2's lap as she pet my hair to relax after her fight and I raised a small shield of light that was see-through so she could watch the fight while I just closed my eyes in comfort.
