Chapter 105 Mastermind Behind It All

Reverse Flash is trying to make a move!. Stephen's face twisted into a peculiar smile as he chuckled and turned to Felicity. "I know who it is. If he wants to cause trouble, I'll have some fun with him. When are you heading back to Star City?"

Felicity replied, "I might have to go back as soon as possible. You know, my work is incredibly busy."

"Don't worry, I won't see you off. Just do something for me when you return," Stephen said, smiling mischievously.

"What's the matter?" Felicity inquired.

Leaning closer to her ear, Stephen whispered softly.

"What? Are you saying it's Dr. Harrison Wells? Is that even possible? God, okay, I understand. I'll head back right away, and I'll inform you if I have any news," Felicity said, taken aback.

"I'll be waiting for your update. By the way you present it, their issue will be resolved later," Stephen chuckled.

"Um!"

Felicity nodded and followed Stephen out of the room, packing her things before leaving.

The true identity of the Reverse Flash is Eobard Thawne. In order to transform Barry Allen into The Flash, Thawne killed the real Harrison Wells. He then used advanced technology from the future to assume Wells's appearance, all while studying particle accelerators.

By the way, Iris West's boyfriend is Eddie Thawne, who is a colleague of her father, Joe West. Apparently, Eddie Thawne happens to be an ancestor of the Reverse Flash.

So, if Eddie dies, the Reverse Flash will cease to exist.

However, Stephen had no intention of resorting to that. After all, isn't the Reverse Flash causing trouble? Let's see who can outdo the other! Aren't you all heading home with a united purpose? Haha! Then I'll make sure you remain trapped in this era you wish to escape from forever!

Central City would undoubtedly descend into chaos, wouldn't it?

Given Barry Allen's nature, he surely won't just stand by, but he's no match for the Reverse Flash. If the Reverse Flash fails to cause an accident involving Barry Allen, he can only make a move himself, right? Then, can you still handle the role of the best actor at the Oscars? Unbeknownst to Reverse Flash, his actions had sparked Stephen's desire to make a significant impact. Conversely, Reverse Flash was thinking that he had made the right decision in time, especially after learning that Stephen had taunted Barry Allen the previous night, almost causing him to fall to his death. Though everything turned out fine, Barry Allen had unexpectedly gained the ability to run on buildings through this ordeal. However, what about next time?

Reverse Flash had worked hard for many years, and he was on the brink of success. He wouldn't allow even the slightest mishap to occur. Taking matters into his own hands, he began training Barry Allen to help him increase his speed. As luck would have it, Barry Allen also had the desire to become faster to protect Iris, so it was a perfect match. In the following days, Barry Allen spent most of his time at S.T.A.R. Labs, training with the guidance of Reverse Flash as Harrison Wells, Cisco Ramon, and Caitlin Snow.

With Reverse Flash as his experienced mentor, Barry Allen's progress improved rapidly.

During this time, it seemed like Stephen had vanished, not contacting Caitlin Snow or causing any trouble for Barry Allen.

When he was about to sought revenge against the company president, Stephen found him and convinced him to join his cause.

"How did you convince him?" you may ask.

"With a good old-fashioned fist!" Stephen confidently replied.

The second person was called the Mist Man. Initially a hitman for a gang, he was betrayed and left to die. However, during his execution, the particle explosion occurred, granting him the ability to transform into deadly hydrogen cyanide gas. The Mist Man's gas was also laced with tranquilizers, making him a formidable opponent. Stephen cleverly utilized the Weather Wizard's power to control the wind direction, trapping the Mist Man and draining his stamina. Dealing with him became a piece of cake.

After all, constantly shifting between solid form and gas form took a toll on the Mist Man's physical strength. Without his powers, he was just an ordinary person.

The third person Stephen encountered was known as Girder, who had the ability to turn his body into solid steel. This power bore similarities to Marvel's Colossus. Initially skeptical, Girder's confidence waned after Stephen knocked him down with a single punch. It's worth mentioning that Girder and Barry Allen were former classmates, with Girder often bullying Barry during their school days. Their reunion would undoubtedly bring back some "pleasant" memories for Barry.

Apart from these three individuals, there were two more that Stephen intended to find.

One of them was currently 50 meters away, just outside his line of sight!
