42 Hello There.

4 days before the start of Naruto canon story.....Naruto is 12 this year.

Naruto was much more happy than before, he had someone accompanying him 24/7. He knew his mysterious savior had been gone for a while, while he was sad of their disappearance he was glad that Kurama was still with him.

Naruto who was walking down the street to walk back to his home after training secretly in the forest while his clone was pretending to be fishing. He, as usual, ignore the disgust, disdain, and anger sent to his way.

Within all those years of training, Kurama taught everything he knew into Naruto and Naruto currently could easily beat any Genin and some Chuunin.

He knew the old man who had been filling his head with the sense of belonging to the village and how it was an "honor" for him to become a shinobi and will be respected because of it.

'Oh become Hokage, you will be respected blah blah blah, he is just filling my head with those lies...he had finally posted his secret guard to "protect" me. Rubbish...because of them I could no fight back.

What is that old mangy ass plotting about..he told me that my so-called parent sacrifices themselves to fight against the Kyuubi...Pui..my father, the beloved leader...Minato Namikaze...and his son me...

the demon spawn, the trash. What did my father see in this village anyway...thanks to Kurama, he was able to repeat the memory as early as when I was recently born.'

He had heard what his father and mother said...he truly loved them both, for his father word still rang inside his mind every time he thinks about his parent.

'This is never about the village, from morning till now...my mind had always been about my family...right now...I am but a simple father...paving the way for his son...I could care less about the village...for all my love was for you and our child...I would be the villain

for my family.. I would betray any others for my family...I became strong for you...for our family, Kushina...it was never about the village."'

Whenever he remembers about the voice of his parent, it never fails to bring warmth to his heart.

During all these time, he had also met the so-called best friend of his father, how could his best friend not even recognize him? His image was the combination of both his father and mother and for goodness sake, they had all attended his wedding and his father loudly proclaim his chosen name for his future son and daughter.

There was only 2 conclusion...one, they truly did not know...or...they just did not give a damn about it in his mind.

[Naruto, are you done thinking? You are already at the front door of your house.]

Naruto was then jolted out of his thinking, quicking sending a quick thank you mentally towards his friend and quickly enter his home and making sure it was lock properly.

But when he turned around, it was not the inside of his house.

It was a throne room, high up in the throne, he could see a magnificent blonde hair man, his very being gave off an aura of royalty and arrogance.

(Similar to the trailer of FGO Babylon where Gilgamesh sat upon his throne.)

[Naruto do not fight that huma...that being, he immensely stronger than us...I do not know how..but he is known as the ten tail...he was supposed to be sealed..he is a being that even I could not hope to even injured.]

Naruto then gulps and slowly approach the throne, he could feel some kind of pressure on him somehow and quickly realize that the being is demanding respect.

Naruto had some knowledge on how to greet those of royalty status and perform a bow of respect.

The invisible pressure that he felt somehow disappear once he paid his respect.

"....How may I address you as...great one?"

A voice filled with power then replies to him.

"You may address me as King, I see that you have knowledge of proper etiquette...good..you may rise."

Naruto then resume his standing position, polite and humble.

"Thank you, my king, how can this one be of service to the king?"

"I am simply interested in the child of prophecy, a title that is not taken lightly."

['So my guess was correct after all']

"You jest, my king..how can this one mention any title before you." Said Naruto in a humble tone."

Gilgamesh then looks at Naruto and smirks.

"Hah, such wisdom from a child so young, it is unprecedented.....very well, my purpose in bringing you here is to grant you a gift."

Naruto then politely said.

"My king, you honor me with such gesture, this one will humbly accept."

"Good, my gift to you is simple, I shall purify your Uzumaki bloodline and I shall grant you a choice between these two Kekei Genkai, the wood release or...swift release."

[Naruto this is a golden chance, think carefully. Wood release will provide a high defensive and attacking capability as well as an increase in affinity towards the sage art as well as high regeneration, such a Kekei Genkai will no doubt put you in an extremely dangerous spot and is not suitable for using for now. The swift release will be more subtle and thus allowing you to use it even openly.]

Naruto then thinks about his choice, what Kurama had advised him given him even more to think.

Wood release will be extremely good for him in the long run but the risk was too high...

"Of course...this king is generous and will assist you in hiding your new found power."

With this, the choice was all too clear for Naruto.

"My king, this one had chosen the gift of Wood release."

[The ten tail....granting us gift instead of killing us....what a story to tell towards my brother and sister.]

"Very well."

Gilgamesh then stood up and raise his finger and point towards Naruto, a beam then suddenly shot out of Gilgamesh finger and entered the body of Naruto.

The pain was, of course, excruciating and unbearable for Naruto.

Kurama continues to motivate and encourage Naruto to hang in there because if he were to sleep, the wood release will then lose control and might kill Naruto.

After a long while...Naruto finally stops screaming.

"This king is impressed, this king shall heal you before returning you as a reward for staying awake."

Before Naruto could reply, a portal appears next to Naruto and suck him in.

Gilgamesh then teleported back to his room.

"This time...I shall witness this story...from my own eye."
