23 A New Crime

The uncle, having a close relationship with Isshino after the death of the child's father quickly spoke out in defence.

The leader of the ent was not amused.

"Then what does our eyes tell us mortal? Are we all blind here or that you are saying you knew about this the entire time?"

Before the uncle could continue to speak in defend however another voice sound out.

"You fool, you were suppose to sow discord among the human so we can call forth our master, such incompetent fool, our master will be most displeased for your failure, your past accomplishment will not save you from this."

The shadow under the Isshino then emerge and surround Isshino entire body before promptly disappear, leaving no trace of any sign.

"After all this you would still deny? After all this you would still speak in his stead? You obviously knew about this and kept a secret...you will be captured and Mother nature herself will judge your crime."

The leader of the Ent not waiting for any reply directly lift the uncle up and drag him away forcefully.

The rest was unable to speak or form any thought due to the shock of what had happen.

Some of the faction that were undermining and plotting to overthrow the Damiyo quickly realise this golden chance and started to question if the Damiyo could be trusted if member of his family were commiting a crime and etc.

The Damiyo and his family unable to stand this quickly retreated back to their home with their bodyguard.

The next day prove to be even more of a chaos.

The noble who once support the Damiyo have now join the opposite side

The noble who were against the Damiyo were the most happy and started a campaign against the Damiyo.

The citizen who after hearing such news too condemn the Damiyo

The merchant and trade upon hearing such news change their route even if it meant the loss of profit

The news of the Prophet condemning the current fire damiyo had also reaches the ears of other leaders and many too join in in the condemnation of the fire damiyo to either gain the good grace and even more trust of their villagers and or some other scheme.

The samurai employed in the service of the Damiyo faction also dwindle down quickly.

The twelve ninja that were chosen to guard the Damiyo were also having second thoughts.

Many other damiyo saw this and fan the flame even bigger, Konoha have also started to distance them self from the current Damiyo.

Soon a riot broke out, the Damiyo faction who but wield naught a power were all quickly captured.

The twelve shinobi ninja who were strongly encouraged not to act stay put and did not rescue the soon to be ex Damiyo.

A trial was quickly put up by the nobility of the nation, it was just a mere formality as many already condemn the family to death even if they continue to protest and claim innocent.

Within the center of the city, a huge podium was in the middle of it.

Within it consist of the former damiyo family who were all gagged and blind foiled.

Surprising the only absent family member were the former princess of the nation.

The trial start was attend by the majority of the civilian.

The judge who were sitting up in the front of the former damiyo family quickly start the trial.

"Umewaka Harukata, former damiyo of our nation. You stand here accused of the crime of high treason, what say you in your defense."

Umewaka who were temporarily ungag to answer the question yell.

"YOU ARE THE ONE WHO SHOULD BE ACCUSE OF TREASON, YOU HAVE NO EVIDENCE AND YET YOU DARE ACCUSE ME OF IT? I SHED BLOOD FOR THIS NATION AND WHAT DID YOU DO? YOU CAPTURE MY GRAND D----" Before he could finish, one of the guard next to him smack him with a blunt club.

The judge order for him to be gag again and one of them follow up by saying

"Yes, we are aware of your service to our nation, but this does not meant you exepmt from the rule.

Some call you a hero, but a hero does not abuse his authority and allow such vile act within his family. You started this war, plunge our nation into chaos, and now we are put you down in the name of justice and restore the peace.

*angry murmur amongst the crowd*

"GUILTY"

"JUSTICE"

All sort of angry reply from the crowd made it clear to the former damiyo family that they have no way out.

The Judge who saw this gave the order for execution.

After the execution among the cheer of the crowd, the noble of the nation also announce the vote for a new and better damiyo.

Alas the damage is done.

With the denouncement of the fire nation, almost no merchant would dare do buisness with them anymore.

The fire nation reputation went downhill extremely quickly.
