8 chapter 7: visions & expiration of new powers

as I begin to sleep I started to have visions once again. except for this time unlike the last time the Visions were much more clear as I looked around it was a somewhat of a castle but one of the things I noticed specifically there was a flowing ream of blood. I reached out and starts drinking but my thirst never went away it then I realized and remembered I was in a vision. Adventure talk around I saw a large door. as I approached the large door it's slowly began to Creek open. then I saw a figure sitting on a throne as I walk towards him he looked at me calmly and then spoke.

" come for my child and drink of My Blood it's time for you to grow up like your siblings have."

I can't control my body because it was moving on its own heading towards the figure as I move closer to them I start seeing more and more of those features it was a man who looked to be wearing very festive Garb probably of Royal Blood. we look to be very old around his late 70s. he extended his arm outward. my body moved on its own once again in my teeth turn into fangs and bit into his arm this time I could feel my Hunger start to subside but why I wondered. I start to notice some kind of white silk start wrapping around my body as it did this love figure this men spoke.

" you have learned the basics of being a vampire now you must go through another right you must involve don't tell me what kind of vampire would you like the ability to raise the dead to serve you or perhaps you would want the ability to subjugate those to your will by Brandon a mark upon them. or even the ability to Simply to create far more powerful servants. to force them to transform into far stronger forms speak now"

" the last option"

I said as the silk like material started to wrap around my body quickly nearly skin tight I could feel my body begin the change as the figure the man begin to speak as my vision fade.

" no longer are you a fledgling vampire you are a vampire lord Show the World by showing their loyalty to you they can grow far stronger use your power to make the world Bend to your will"

as my vision fades completely to Black life slowly begin to wake up opening my eyes I could see I was in some kind of cocoon using my inhuman strength I start to pull it open from the inside and from the look of it it look like I should have my own skin I was a bit taller my skin a little less pale and my muscles seem bigger but more compacted than anyting I grabbed the cocoon and started to leave my house leaving it in our storehouse. perhaps it could be used for clothing. or even for armor though I didn't believe so. as I looked around I remembered I went to sleep in my normal clothes I didn't care very much though so I just walked around town what are the Caravan Masters walked up to me with a smile on his face.

" good morning Lord Jack hope you slept well. and as you predicted quite a few people have hangovers. tho this can be handled easily."

I nodded as I start to look around for my protege who is talking with the man I put in charge of the Guard. I slowly began to walk towards them. I started to hear what they were talking about.

" so big guy what do you think about us started work on a Tavern first or building the guard barracks and it training grounds. either one would be very useful but I do think we should start with guard Barracks personally."

my protege nodded as he would begin to speak.

" I would be in agreement with you under any circumstance but we need the cavern that way and the workers can blow off some steam every once in awhile with a nice drink. and food and it would help us out a lot way we get visitors though I don't we will without a village being destroyed. so we should either asked Lord Jack. or we split the workers and kind of have one working on one project and other working on the other this would probably do a lot for us."

I clapped my hands which caught both their attention. with a smile on my face.

" you're right my friend but the workers in half but I would like you to send some scout out have them go every direction even a little bit beyond this region. I want to know what's happening and what's causing the destruction of so many villages."

I then looked at my protege and spoke.

" I want you once the training grounds are done trained all the guards for one month and pick out the 10 strongest guards for my personal guard and try to get them as close as your physical strength. then bring them to me."

they both nodded and began moving out as I continue the work I heard a whisper in my head I could tell it wasn't coming from my surround.

" to grow your forces you must force them to transport your blood mixed with the blood of a monster. who makes their bodies mutate to make bodies grow strong. Force the mutation.... create and mutate."

I didn't understand what is The Whispers were speaking the language of the overall gist of it. I started quietly hum to myself as I found a group of hunters who seem to not have drinking a lot last night and didn't have a hangover.

" Hunter I have a task for you and your group."

the five Hunters seem to nod and waited for their task.

" I want you to go out and capture any monsters as long as they are physically strong. and also please stay safe."

the hunters nodded and began to move out I guess they had already prepared for a hunt. I start to mess around with my facial hair. and I started to think about what else I should have people doing if I move quickly through the village much faster than I could as I guess a fledgling vampire I was easily double my top speed. as I watched from the Shadows I want a group of people most likely the Scouts leave a village. sued after about 3 minutes the Hunters that I have tasked with capturing monsters we're starting to leave the village. then begin to walk around the village more as I noticed everyone seeing you happy and working hard doing great work and just have finished the blacksmith as well and I have noticed the guard Barracks where about 20 feet away from the blacksmith. and live about a quarter of the way done. I started to feel very hungry then I started to made my way back to my house. I'd like to introduce a song Layla who wasn't asleep in my bed. she noticed I was hungry and gestured to her neck as I close the door behind me I walked towards her and sunk my fangs into her neck which seems to make her excited I could smell the pheromones off of her. I could feel my strength coming back to me as I drink her blood as I started to feel my Hunger disappear as I let her go I saw her she was breathing heavily I helped her sit down. she seemed to Ian and lay her head on the desk and passed out I set down against the wall and started to sleep help pass the time. 8 hours have passed as I begin to open my eyes I noticed it should be about afternoon maybe around 1:30 p.m. I started to stretch as I get making my way out the door I noticed the hunters we're back and had a few monsters in cages I noticed about a few bugbears one or two hobgoblins and a few Spike wolves. Spike wolves where what is the most deadliest predators in the forest nearby and in this region they are very stealthily I could easily take out a battalion of armored troops if there were troops weren't ready for a fight. like in the middle of night where most of them would be asleep Spike wolves also had a slight venomous bite and claws. I look towards the hunter with a smile.

" you did great. now I would like only one of you to remain here the rest of you go rest."

they started to talk amongst themselves and then they all start leaving except for one it was a young man. a glass bottle heading to one of the spike wolves that were injured grabbing a bit of their blood and put it into the bottle and then my own the Young man could see the blood that nun was mixing in the glass bottle change colors from red to blue. I walked towards him with a smile and gestured him to come closer which he did.

" this is a type of magic I have learned a long time ago it will be able to enhancing and make you a far better Hunter. still ain't perfect donut with a spike wolf typically only bears and wolves never with a spike wolf. so it may hurt do you accept this gift I would understand if you didn't."

the young Hunter slowly nodded as he grabbed the bottle he looked at it and then begin to drink it. he started to grow in a little bit and if you crumble to his knees he couldn't get loud. and even if he screamed my house was far away from the rest of the village. to where you could scream your lungs out and not hear a thing in the main the town. I saw his nails start to grow he grew what seems to be sharper canine teeth and his hair slightly grew and it went from a brown to a dark brown. green eyes seem to narrow slightly. I could also seen a slight green liquid leaking from his sharp canine teeth and his long sharp nails. he was breathing heavily as he began to stand up he seemed a bit taller as well.

" now tell me how do you feel?"

the transformed Hunter begin to stretch looking around he could see much better. he scratched his chin before speaking.

" I feel so much longer faster I can even see so much about her I feel like I'm no longer human I feel like I've transformed into something greater now I think about it I can tell you're not human either now."

he said as he smelled the air and I was almost there but I didn't know he knew my secret now but then again I knew his about being turned into a monster or partially monster so he wouldn't snitch on me as long as I didn't do that to him. he then kneeled to me and then smoke.

" I will serve you my lord as long as I live I will keep your secret for this great strength you have given me."

I smiled as I gestured for him to go will simultaneously speaking.

" go to explore your new strength and try to learn control the new Power you have. because trust me it will take some time for you to be used."

the new and improved Hunter left I start to think about what would happen if I were to mix multiple samples of Monster Blood. but I would not want to do that until I could have a place to control them or kill them so people will not know what I have done to them. I scratched my beard as I was in thought. then I heard a familiar voice it was one of the Caravan Masters walking to me.

" good evening my Lord I've noticed that the hunters have brought back monsters in cages I ask why?."

I would not swim as I would gesture him to Stand By Me he's saw the monsters in cages.

" I needed to practice a few years spells that required Monster Blood. if my theory is correct as allow me to enhance the strength of our people."

the Caravan master nodded in Surprise he wasn't expecting that don't even but he understood. though he did voice his confirmed.

" do we have to be concerned about our people turning into monsters with this magic. or will it show no side effects?."

I smiled at him and he figured out there maybe drawback. It wouldn't be that hard to figure that out I would speak calmly.

" besides in the case of the spike wolf they're probably should not change. But in the case of a spike wolf expect they would start to have the ability to produce poison naturally and be able to use it and get sharper canine teeth. I don't think we have to worry about anyone turning into a monster maybe change a little bit. But not a monster."
