"That is all for today, you are dismissed."

Seth instantly immersed himself in a conversation with his chip.

As he left, Seth contemplated his schedule and realized he had the next three days with no classes. After thinking for a bit, he decided it would be within his best interest to go hunting so he could get some more coins. He sold the sparrow he was planning on making a minion a while back and gained an extra 6 bronze coins, bringing him to 21 coins. Planning on going hunting in the forest for two days, he bought a bag with enough clean water and rations to last him the two days at the cost of six bronze coins.

Grabbing his bow and quiver, Seth started the somewhat long journey to the forest and eventually arrived before the sea of trees. Taking a deep breath, he entered the forest.

It took him around twenty minutes to find a rabbit and he didn't trust his aiming ability enough to be able to hit a bird, so he didn't catch anything before then. Guiding his arrow with energy particles, Seth shot at the rabbit and hit it square in its side.

Seth quickly put the rabbit in his bag and marveled at how much easier it is to hunt with a bag. Before, he just carried the corpses around and placed them down when he went to shoot.

Deciding to make use of his undead rabbit, Seth summoned it towards him and had it show him where rabbits were. It only took around ten minutes for the rabbit to find him as he only had it patrolling the periphery of the forest.

His hunting was much easier with his rabbit as his guide and he quickly filled up his bag with four more rabbits. Seth couldn't help but be at a loss. When he planned his trip he completely forgot about his limited storage space. Chalking it up to inexperience, he returned to the sect and sold all but one of his rabbit corpses for twenty bronze coins bringing his total to thirty-five.

Afterward, he went to a building with a sign saying 'Necromancy Materials' and bought enough materials to create a basic ritual circle for thirty bronze. A basic ritual circle, while it can be reused an infinite number of times after creation, unlike a higher level ritual circle has a low success rate for beginners and requires precise control. Higher-level ritual circles are consumable items, so even if he had the money for them he wouldn't buy them.

Returning to the forest, Seth spent three hours before he found a relatively peaceful environment in which he felt comfortable building his ritual circle.

It took only twenty minutes to set up the circle as all it required was enchanted chalk, everlasting candles, and a bit of creativity for the drawings. Seth decided on drawing a bird, rabbit, lizard, fox, and bear, allowing him to use this circle to resurrect those creatures.

The ritual circle was a five-pointed pentagram with a creature drawn in each of the spaces except for the middle. Lighting the candles, Seth directed necromantic energy towards the circle and slowly charged it up to full, taking around fifteen minutes. At the end of it, he was completely exhausted but eager to resurrect a new minion.
