When Shikamaru opened his eyes, he saw that he was in a wooden crib with the engravings of an a deer's antlers. He tried to move but his body wouldn't listen to him, so he just sat there, looking at the ceiling with his big eyes. He stayed like that for a long time until someone came, a man.

The man had black hair that was tied in an upwards ponytail style, and he would have looked like one of those fruits the merchants were trying to sell if he didn't had those 'accessories' in his face. He had two twin scars that gave off the feeling of danger while the little beard he had gave off a 'wise man' vibe. Shikamaru remembered this man! He was with him when he opened his eyes for the first time with that tired looking woman. The man finally reached the crib and took him to his arms. Shikamaru didn't try to do anything, he just looked at the man with big brown eyes that was somewhat creepy to come from a baby's face. The man just looked at his eyes with his own for some time. After looking at the man for so long, he saw something in the man's eyes. What was that? A flame? A light? He tried to reach with his eyes. The flame grew more and more. Shikamaru started to feel a very weird feeling. No! This feeling was not his! It felt weird! Shikamaru try to wiggle his way out but the feeling wouldn't wash off! His eyes started watering and he couldn't escapeescapeescapeescapeEsCaPeESCAPE!

And then it all stopped. The man understood that he was getting bothered and put him back to his crib, then started to stroke his little hair. Shikamaru couldn't understand. What was that feeling? What happened to me? Why did it happen? These were the questions that was around little Nara's head. Then came a feeling, a very weak one but one that was impossible to miss. It only said one thing to him...

Guilt

The man was guilty, but why? Why did I felt that? Why does he feel guilty? Then the voice came again. This time the answer was more direct and informant.

But before Shikamaru could finish his thoughts, his little baby mind couldn't handle it more and shut itself down. Before shikamaru's world turned black again, he saw another blue rectangle infront of him.
