In all of his life, Shikamaru could remember every bit of information he gained, even the times he was a baby. The memories were actually still clear as a day, and he could recall that memory every time he wanted. It only took Shikamaru six days to learn that he was the only one with this ability.
Now, it wasn't actually that bad of a thing to remember your baby days, because you only knew how to eat, poop, sleep and cry at that time, even if Shikamaru only did the latter when he needed the first two. So it wasn't like you suddenly lose your ability to walk one day, you just didn't know how to do it from the beginning that's all.

As Shikamaru's eyes landed on the red colored "Error"s his mind started to feel weird and twisted. With his limited baby knowledge he only wanted to get away from it and that he did.
