It has been three months.

Wow, time fucking flies by.

Well I guess for me since I am always busy in doing "appropriate" training for my now my 6 month old body and behold my progress!

Growing a staggering two inches. I was already way too tall for my age and now even more.

I can now run and I occasionally try to jump as much as I can although there are some restrictions imposed by my body that even a genius like me cannot overcome.

Many things happened as well.

Apparently I was using the observation skill so much that it was maxed out and now I remember everything that I land my eyes on with a photographic memory and I can immediately learn techniques and fighting styles by watching them as long as they are not too advanced like the Chidori, Rasengan, Any Fuinjutsu, Space-Time Jutsu, High Level Jutsus, Etc.

It also made me what someone would describe as super sensitive and aware of my surrounding, I would notice even smallest movement in my peripheral vision and with the skill, my analytical and knowledge processing skills were also increased.

This helped alot in many things and one thing I was quite eager to do.

The Rasengan And The Chidori.

I could learn them as well since I knew the steps to learn Rasengan and some tips for learning Chidori since Jiraiya gave Naruto a step-by-step tutorial on Rasengan and since Chidori is just a failed Rasengan but with a more pin point damage point and Lightning chakra, and since Kakashi gave Sasuke various tips on Chidori which I remember, learning it will be a piece of cake alongside the other techniques I remembered using my observation on the ninjas who train on the nearby training ground.

Oh yeah, apparently there is a training ground near the orphanage which is like a forest with a big clearing in the middle of it.

Young and Older Nara clan ninjas alike come here to practice their Shinobi arts, well, mostly genin and chunin since there were special training grounds for jonin.

Well copying them was no sweat but he can't do use them since trying to use chakra now would make his undeveloped chakra coils burst.

Moving on, it was time to check his progress within the system.

As he grew so did his Daily Quest's difficulty and rewards, but the required EXP also increased drastically.

You may ask how my spying is so high. Well, I always eavesdrop on anyone that I think could be having a conversation which would give me new info and because I gained EXP for it.

And I indeed got some valuable information.

Once when the kids turn 1 year old, they will be sent to one of either of two different orphanages depending on the amount of potential they show for being a shinobi, one was where the ones who were promising in the ninja arts were given not normal training prior to joining the academy.

As for the other, they would not be given any special training and would be raised like normal civilian children but they would still have the option to join the academy.

Well, he still had more than 5 months left before he would moved to the shinobi specialized orphanage.

Well, talking about, I was already talking with people and was fluent and talking normally already unlike other kids so he was considered a prodigy like the nara clan heir and only not more since he would purposefully make mistakes while talking and trip over while walking and running since he didn't want to catch too much attention.

Everything aside, today wasn't a normal day.

The clan head alongside his wife were going to vist today, the source of this news was Suziko.

They said it was to visit the children and inspire the next generation of upcoming Naras.

In reality, it was just to see who displayed higher potential than the other kids, the ones who catch the eye of the clan head would be given special treatment. This visit was nothing more inspecting the new prospects and eliminating the worthless from going higher.

He had already completed his daily quest and had nothing to do since there was not going to be any lessons being taught to the older kids today and there weren't any ninjas in the training ground.

He decided to wait until the moment came where he had to do nothing.

𝚃𝚑𝚛𝚎𝚎 𝙷𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜 𝙻𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚛

I was bored and looking out of the window observing the birds when I heard the voice of Kirin.

"Oh! Lord Shikaku! Lady Yoshino! It's an honour for you to grace our orphanage with your presence! And I see that you have brought Young Lord Shikamaru with you as well!"

I turned around and started walking towards the door and abruptly stopped as a man and a woman holding baby in her arms alongside Kirin and Suziko.

The man looked at me with a surprised expression as he saw a toddler like me walk without any difficulty.

The woman looked at me and said, "Awww! What a cute little guy!". She handed over the baby to the man who had a sweatdrop on his forehead and picked me up and held me in front of her, "Who is this cutie?" She asked.

Suziko smiled and said, "He is Kai, he is only 6 months old yet has already grown so much, he can already walk properly and run and can speak already aswell. He is the most talented kid in the entire orphanage!"

The man who I recognized as Shikaku's eyes widened even more and stared at me and the woman whom I didn't recognize pulled my cheeks and smiled at me, "What a talented little fella you are, Kai! Not only are you cute but talented as well! I bet you will become a great Shinobi in the future! My name is Yoshino, nice to meet you!"

I recognized this woman, Yoshino was it? That's Shikamaru's mom, i dont remember the face of every character so yeah.

"Um... Thank you, Yoshino-san. I am happy to meet you as well." Was my reply.

Yoshino cooed and hugged me, "You are such a sweet child! Unlike my Shikamaru!" While saying this she glared at the sleeping Nara who too possessed the ability of speaking, although his favorite words were 'Troublesome' and 'Annoying Woman'.

Shikaku's interest was peaked but he didn't have much time and although this Kai certainly showed potential, he couldn't waste the time he had gotten after finishing the paperwork, he had yet to have a proper cloud watching session.

"Let's go, Yoshino." Said Shikaku waking up the sleeping Nara who mumbled 'Troublesome.' And quickly told Shikaku to let him down.

Shikaku let Shikamaru down and Yoshino let me down. Shikamaru looked at me and said, "Yo."

I merely replied, "Yo."

Yoshino looked at us in horror, "Oh no. Shika is affecting the vocabulary of this sweet kid! Kai, you can't use such informal words!"

Shikaku put a hand on Yoshino's shoulder and Yoshino sighed, "Bye Kai. Let's go Shika."

Shikamaru looked at me and nodded before turning around and leaving with his parents.

"Bye Yoshino-San, Shikaku-Sama, Shikamaru." I said.

Yoshino almost cried and waved at me as Shikaku nodded as they went on to the garden to look at the other older kids who were going over the things they had been taught since there was nothing else of interest here.
