I looked at the screen completely ignoring the little girl who was inviting me to play with her.

I was now finally a year old.
It also meant that i was gonna be transfered to another orphanage and i already knew which.
By now I had learnt alot of things, like how ninja system of Konoha functioned, How one could get themselves enlisted in the academy, How many legal formalities and customs were carried out. How? They were being taught to the older kids who didn't make it to the ninja section and were being economics and i took in the information better than they did by observing their lessons.
I still was not able to do any serious physical or chakra training but i kept spying on everyone I could and one day...

That extra EXP also helped me finally, finally, reach level 15 which I am gonna do now.

Suziko and Sumi gasped and looked at me with wide eyes upon hearing me say those words.
Suziko came over and glared at me, "You shouldn't say such words Kai! Who taught you this?!"
I simply ignored her in favor of looking at the system screen.

Suziko and Sumi had gone away to confront the foul mouthed ninja instructor while Kirin and another man had come in front of me.
The man was middle-aged and had a headband.
He had come to get me.
Kirin and the man came over and Kirin came over to me and picked me up and hugged me tightly, "I am gonna miss you, Kai!" With that she put me down.
"Listen Kai, you will now go with this man. He will take you to your new home where you will be taught many things. Now be good and disciplined there okay? Obey their orders and learn earnestly!" Said Kirin with tears in her eyes, even though her words were not needed. After all, I was the most quiet and mature kid even among the older ones.
I simply nodded and looked up at the man who offered me his finger to hold, "I am Taishi, Kai. I will be one of your instructors who will teach you many things about being ninja. Now, come with me."
Even I though I didn't want to, I grabbed his finger and started walking with him.
As we left the orphanage, I saw Kirin waving at me and wiping her tears with a tissue paper.
Pfft, Women. I didn't even know her name, just remembered when I saw her ID.
Me and the Man exited the orphanage and for the first time in my life, I was finally able to leave the orphanage and explore the clan compound.
As I and the man walked, many people, elder and young alike, waved at us and some girls came over and pinched my cheeks and complimented my cuteness.
I know, I am too attractive for my own good. If only women would stop gathering around me at every chance.
After a minute, an elderly lady standing near a teriyaki store called out to us, "Hey there little one! And you Taishi! You haven't visited in such a long time! Did you forget this old woman?"
Taishi stopped and scratched the back of his head as he chuckled sheepishly and walked towards the stand with me, "Sorry granny Aiki. I was busy with my duties."
He looked at me, "This little guy here is Kai. He is the most talented kid in the Nara clan. Equal to the clan heir, Shikamaru. Could you believe he is only a year old by how big he already is?"
Aiki, the old man. Looked at me and smilled as she ruffled, "Hello little one! My name is Aiki. You must be really talented for Taishi to praise you like this! Not only that, you are really cute as well." She grabbed a dish of teriyaki and handed it to me.
"Here, little one." She said kindly staring down at me.
Taishi quickly pulled out some ryo and held it in front of the elder lady, "For both of us. One for me aswell."
The elder lady lightly slapped his hand, "Did you really think I'd take money from you? I'd appreciate your company more than some ryo!" She handed him a plate aswell.
Taishi tried to protest but sighed and stopped and looked at me.
As for me, I was already gobbling down the delicious teriyaki, already half walk through finishing it, "This is delicious." I said.
Aiki smiled and patted my head, "Thank you! You can have as much as you want, Little one."
I quickly finished my plate and Aiki gave me another one which I also finished while Taishi had just finished his first one.
Aiki tried to give me another one but i refused and both Taishi and Aiki were suprisied at the fact I even managed to finish one plate let alone two.
After that, I and Taishi continued to walk through the streets and we stopped when we finally arrived at the orphanage.
New home? Huh. More like new base of action.
