9 AUNT ZHAO

She launched into her grandmother's arms. Her grandmother also did something that surprised her; she hugged Erica back and didn't complain about how childish-like she was behaving.

Zhao Lixue is the matriarch of the Zhao family with a long history she presents herself in a dignified manner with no flaws.

She was known to be extremely ruthless when finding a woman for her son finally the only woman that could melt her stone-cold heart was Erica's mother Sophia Regina Keller.

With her natural charm and unrivaled temperament, she captured the hearts of the mother and son pair. With her brains, she brought back the declining Zhao Corp. to a firm stand. She was one of a kind and therefore married the strict Mrs. Zhao's son.

Zhao Lixue was quite surprised by her granddaughter's new clothing style. In the past, her granddaughter would just greet her indifferently and go to her room. But a hug? What's new?

"Are you okay? You don't have a fever do you?"

"When I'm bad you say I'm unfilial. When I'm good you call me sick. What do I do then?"

"Come on dear. So what brings you to this humble dwelling."

"Humble?" Erica looked at the expensive chandelier then at then to the marble floor and the gold railed stares then to the million-dollar 3D TV. "If this is humble then I don't know what f*ckin' dosted is."

Her grandmother flicked her forehead in response.

"Ow that hurts."

"Good. Such vile words how unladylike"

"Erica chuckled and continued talking. "Anyway, grandmother." The woman glared daggers at her.

"Sorry, Aunt Zhao."

"Yes, dear."

"I have something to tell. It's very important to tell you and Dad and it can't wait."

"I see." She took out her phone and kept on her glasses. "How in the world do I find it." The old woman always had trouble navigating her smartphone. Most of the time she would take half an hour finding one contact it was truly a sight to see her fumble and wrestle with the device.

"Pft Gra- Aunt Zhao do you need help."

"Nonsense I refuse to lose to a machine." Of cause, this was her answer anytime she had trouble with a machine whether the shower heater or the television.

Erica crossed her legs, made herself comfortable, and enjoyed the show in glee. After four rounds of woman vs machine, she finally managed to find her son's contact number.

"Hello...Oh dear my belly hurts… My dear son, please hurry Ow it's so painful, be please quick or else you will come home to find my corps welcoming you Ow."

Erica's eyes flew open leaving her jaw to drop in total amazement. She never knew her grandmother was so mischievous.

"What? You want him her quickly right? How else will I give your workaholic of a father here in time."

Erica's knee's dropped down as she kowtowed "Teach me your ways oh dear queen."

"Sit down peasant for a lesson you'll never forget."

They had a pleasant conversation the best she has had with her grandmother in like… ever. They laughed and shared funny memories of each other. In truth, the two were close when Erica was a child she would always look forward to coming home and see her Grandmother. They would go to a water park or the zoo. During Summer vacation they would go to South Africa or Australia to visit wildlife they would even visit Dubai or Disney theme park in Orlando.

Nostalgic tears once again find a way down her face. "How un-lady-like look at all these tears looks like I have to upgrade my etiquette training."

"Where did you get the whip from."

"The question is what's it for?" The woman had a very doubtful smile as she said this.

Erica shifted away from her grandmother with a suspicious look. *KECHUK* The door to the mansion opened and to and a tall refined man came through. With his neatly trimmed mustache and the noble aura, he was no doubt one to be respected for a man in his late forties he looked younger.
