99 New World

As Jack regained his senses, he found himself once again drifting through the mesmerizing starry cosmos. But this time, instead of being filled with awe and wonder like the previous three times, he was gripped by fear. He had never been thrown into such a perilous situation before!

Quickly seizing the opportunity, he activated his the system to escape the world of assassins. However, as he appeared in the starry expanse again, Jack's heart sank. He realized that running away blindly wouldn't solve the problem.

With a sinking feeling, he couldn't help but grumble, "What happened to the Assassin movie world we agreed upon? Why is this game world meddling in my affairs, and with such grandiosity!"

Exasperated, he called out to the system, demanding an explanation, but the response he received was nothing more than an eerie silence.

Clearly, the system was not inclined to heed his complaints. But Jack wasn't entirely surprised; he hadn't had much hope for it in the first place.

"Well, at least I got away quickly. Otherwise, things could have taken a catastrophic turn," he muttered to himself.

As for what lay beyond the realm of Assassin's World, Jack was surprisingly unfazed. He knew that when he returned, he could choose any moment in time, even arriving back a second after he had left.

However, he had no intention of going back just yet. Instead, he planned to travel through a few worlds until he had honed his strength to a level where he could confidently crush the Isu.

"Once I return, it'll be a triumphant 'I'm back!' moment!" he thought with determination.

With this newfound resolve, Jack ventured forward, amidst the celestial spectacle, the constellations danced with newfound vigor, as if eager to guide Jack on his next adventure.

With a mix of excitement and cautiousness, he picked a star and got to know the world he was about to step into — "Now You See Me."

A sigh of relief escaped his lips, grateful that it wasn't another merged world that might overwhelm him with its complexities.

As the starlight enveloped him, revealing his chosen destination – a quaint street near J. Daniel Atlas's residence, Jack's heart fluttered with anticipation.

"Ah, a magician's playground," he remarked playfully, trying to mask his nerves with humor. "No more Isu-like surprises, please!"

As he pondered his new career options, Jack's eyes widened with astonishment. There were only two choices, and both were bafflingly simple — "Magician & Prankster." Blinking repeatedly to confirm he wasn't dreaming, he couldn't help but murmur, "Is this some cosmic joke?"

The allure of becoming a magician tempted him, knowing it could improve his arcane prowess, but a sudden realization hit him like a magical epiphany. This world might have its own quirky system, and his previous experiences as a Templar had taught him to be cautious.

Contemplating the mysteries of a magician's livelihood, Jack didn't fancy another trial-and-error ordeal like in the past.

"I don't want to waste time guessing how magicians make money," he quipped, his determination growing.

He had a sneaking suspicion that the system had some devious tricks up its sleeve. The most pressing concern was the unconventional approach the system seemed to adopt with each profession.

There was no guarantee that choosing a magician would grant him the expected attributes. After all, his experiences with the Templar Knights taught him that common sense was often thrown out the window.

"Alright, system, you've got me intrigued," Jack addressed the system with a grin. "Show me what you've got. Let's dive into this magician gig!"

[The location has been confirmed, the new profession has been selected, and the time travel begins]

As he made his choice, the atmosphere around him shifted. Hints of magic tingled in the air, and Jack felt a strange but exhilarating energy flow through him. The world transformed around him, and he found himself standing on the chosen street, ready to embrace his newfound profession.

"Okay, magician hat, wand, cape — check!" Jack declared, playfully striking a pose. "Now, what's my first magical gig? Vanishing coins or pulling rabbits out of hats?"

While curiously walking towards the place where the sound of people cheering is came from, Jack also checked his newly acquired [Magician] career panel.
