Dumbledore said that it would be wise to keep the funeral in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, Firecrackers were bursting all over the sky. People were only celebrating the defeat of Voldemort and ignored the deaths of James Potter and Lily Potter and Honestly, Blair didn't blame them. Deaths like this have become the norm in the past decade. The public has become numb to such news.

"What are going to do now, You know, the war is over," Dumbledore asked.

"Don't know, I haven't thought about it. This is probably the first time in my life that I don't have any pressure on my shoulders. No fighting, No goals, nothing." Blair said.

Dumbledore didn't answer him immediately, instead, he continued to stare at the firecrackers in the sky, As if remembering something from his past. There was sadness, regret as well as tiredness in those old blue eyes of the most powerful wizard in the world.

After a brief silence, Blair said.

"why do became a professor in Hogwarts. I mean you could have become anything you wanted"

"Blair if you would have told 20 years old me that I will work as a professor in Hogwarts, I probably would have laughed at you or even jinxed you, Some events just changes you and your perspective of life," Dumbledore said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

The conversation again came to a brief halt.

"Is it really wise to leave Harry to Lily's Muggle relatives?" Blair said.

"Yes," Dumbledore said fixing his eye towards him "Blair it's an absolute necessity that he should stay with the Dursleys. You can visit him daily if you want to. But don't tell him about the wizarding world just yet, He will find out when he is 11 years old.." Just as Blair was about to ask for the reason, both of them heard a bird singing.

Blair quickly took out the coins and flipped it.

"The Longbottoms" With that both of them apparated away without wasting a single second.

As soon as they reached in front of the Longbottom Manor, They heard anguish screams of a man and women from inside. They both again apparated inside the Manor.

Inside the main hall, the Lestrange brothers were torturing Frank, Whereas Bellatrix and Barty Crouch were torturing Alice. Longbottom couple helpless writhed on the ground screaming.

"AVADA KEDAVRA" Blair's wand shoot an overpowered Killing Curse, directly hitting the younger Lestrange brother. Who's corpse was sent flying towards the wall.

"Blair don't cast the Killing curse, It may hit the Longbottoms," Dumbledore said while easily stunning Barty crouch.

"Fine" Blair said, "CRUCIO"

Rodolphus Lestrange fell on the ground screaming in agony. Seeing the Dumbledore gave a defeated sigh before attacking Bellatrix.

Bellatrix blocked Dumbledore before sending a killing curse in return. The headmaster gracefully stepped aside as the green light passed by him and sent a rapid nonstop chain of unknown spells towards her. Bellatrix hastily blocked them, But the spells continued to attack her without any break. 2 minutes later she went down as a stunner hit her right in the chest.

The best lieutenant of Voldemort couldn't even last 3 minutes in front of him and Dumbledore wasn't even trying to kill her.

Blair sent a stunner at the screaming Rodolphus as he saw that Bellatrix was down. He walked towards the heavily injured Longbottom couple. Both of them were shaking heavily. Fortunately there eyes we're still focused.

"How are they," Dumbledore asked with worry in his eyes. Both of the Longbottoms were his good friends as well as valuable order members.

"The Cruciatus Curse hasn't done any long-lasting damage on them we need to take them to the hospital," Blair said while casting Feather-light charm on the couple and picking both of them up in each of his hand.

"You transfer them to the hospital, I will call for the Aurors" Dumbledore said while sending a Phoenix Patronus. Blair nodded before apparating away to the Hospital. After handing the couple to the healers he went to pick up the Black twins. Remus was the godfather of Sirius jr, But because of him being unavailable, Blair decided to take the boy with him as well.

Two hours later Blair was standing in front of a wide-eyed Lucas. There were two 1-year-olds in his hand sleeping soundly while laying their heads on his shoulder.

"Place two more Cradles in my room" Blair whispered.

Lucas hastily nodded before rushing towards the basement in excitement. He was happy, He could serve more masters.

Three days later.

Blair was sitting in the library with a letter from Gringotts in his hand. The content was about his account receiving a large number of Gallons. This were the Bounty of Bellatrix and Lestrange Brothers. He also got the bounty for identifying Barty Crouch junior as a death eater. And the bounties were no way small. Bellatrix's alone bounty was 15000 Gallons. Strangely enough, Dumbledore didn't take a single Gallon from it. He will have to ask him about it later. There was another notice with the letter.
