60 Second Year Ends.

"What do you think, Is he alive or dead."

Blair was sitting in Dumbledore's office, on his usual chair. Dumbledore was standing in front of him, lovingly stroking Fawkes. The holidays started today, everyone was going back to their homes.

"Who knows, But as far as I know about Tom, He feared death the most and will never let his life tied to only one item. He probably made more of these things " Dumbledore said calmly as he continued to stroke Fawkes, who enjoyed it.

"But that's.."

"Insane? Madness? Evil?, Let me tell you something, Blair, Voldemort would do anything necessary to run away from death, He would even destroy the whole world just to survive."

" Sigh, Then I will continue to train the students to protect themselves. Who knows it might one day even save their lives." Blair sighed. "Anyway what are you going to do about this book."

He looked at the large thick black book placed on the table with the title 'Secrets of the Darkest Art'. Blair brought this book here on Dumbledore's request.

"Nothing, I will tear the pages which have mentions of a Horcrux in them, then I will place it back in the Library," Dumbeldore said calmly.

"I thought you will hide the book."

"It will be hypocritical of me to do that and I have no right to deny knowledge to the students just because the book is filled with dark magic. It's up to them to decide what they want to learn, Even if it is dark magic."

"But you are removing the Horcrux pages." Blair pointed it out.

"I said dark magic. The creation of Horcrux is pure evil and there no good thing that will come with it." Dumbeldore finally sat on his chair.

"Do whatever you want, You are the headmaster, not me," Blair said. Whereas Dumbledore just gave him a smile.

"I really miss the days when I taught DADA class. If it was up to me, I would be happy to exchange places."

"You can keep your job, I am happy with my job."

"Ohh.....you like tormenting children. I see." Dumbeldore said, Twinkles returning to his eyes.

"I am doing it for their own good, and anyway, have you thought about whom you are going to hire next year for your DADA position."

"Oh, I already have a person in mind."

"Who?"

"It's a surprise."

"Sigh...."

.

Hogwarts Express was about to depart, Blair and the kids were standing, bidding farewell to Harry. Like previous year, Harry again looked a little down. He loved to stay in Hogwarts, It was welcoming, unlike the Privet Drive. the Dursleys were cold to him and would barely talk to him.

Blair gave a sigh, He really wanted Harry to live with them. But he couldn't. The old man told him how he casted a blood ward on Harry that will preserve Lily's protection as long as Harry lives with his mother's last living blood relative and how it will last until his 17th birthday.

Blair was planning to take Harry and the kids for a tour after Harry finishes his 1 month of stay with the Dursleys.

His eyes then fell on a particular black-haired boy who was looking a little depressed. There was also exhaustion on his face, It was like he hadn't slept for days.

'Nicholas Prince.'

But unlike when he first saw him, he was wearing clean ironed clothes with neatly combed hairs. Probably learned charms for it.

After the kid got unpetrified, Blair saw him continuously practising spells in an abandoned classroom multiple times. He wondered if he should give him extra classes to recoup his lost half years of education. He would think about it next year. Another strange thing about the kid was that Blair had never seen him talking to any other students, he would only sometimes ask Blair a few questions about magic and that's it. He was anti-social even for Ravenclaw standards.

The train horn rang loudly and everyone boarded the train including Harry. The kids bid their farewell to their own friends as the train departed.

"Let's go home."

"Dad, I want a Firebolt that launched the previous month," Aurora said while giving a pleading look at her father.

"If she gets it I also want one," Melania added.

" You two do realize that it's a world-class broom and only Quidditch professionals play with it. Also, it costs nearly 1000 Gallons to 1300 Gallons and you still have your nimbus." Sirius said calmly.

"Hay we are asking father to buy us the broom, not you. you are just preventing us from getting faster brooms because we are going to apply for the Quidditch team next year and you are just scared that Gryffindor Quidditch team will have a huge advantage after that. And have we ever stopped you from buying any expensive books?" Aurora said glaring at his brother.

"wha...I don't even watch Quidditch, let alone play it and there is a difference between doing productive things like acquiring knowledge and playing a stupid game."

"Now you have done it. How dare you say Quidditch is a stupid game.." Melanie said sharply while moving forward as if ready to punch Sirius, Aurora following her lead.

"Ok enough." Blair stopped them from fighting.

"Father that broom really cost quite a bit," Sirius said.

"Sigh.....Sirius, you are just a child. You don't have to worry about things like spending gallons and since when did your father ever lacked money, If you want something, just ask for it. As for you two, what Sirius said is correct, You shouldn't just spend money without thinking." Blair was not lying, he didn't lack money. Even though it was not as much as the Malfoys, He still had quite a sum of gallons that he earned during the war and his 2 jobs also paid him well. His fortune was just pilling up, eating dust in his vault as Blair never spent Gallons on things other than his clothes, daily necessities and the Kids' wishes.

Sirius looked a little relieved. In the past his father would never say no to these two girls, he was sure that his father would even buy them a dragon if they asked for it. But this was the first time he said no to their request.

But soon enough....

"Now that you know that, Let's go to Diagon Alley and place your orders, after that we can go home."

"and here I thought he was making progress....sigh."
