30 Grindelwald's estate.

The portkey lead him in the middle of the densely packed forest. He looked at the paper in his hand and began to read the location.

'Grindelwald estate is located in the middle of Wychwood Forest'

Slowly the trees began to move away from him and an iron gate began to reveal itself from the ground. The gate rose up to feet 20 feet before stopping. 'For the greater good' was written on top of the gate and a big triangle with a circle to its center was embedded on the gate. Blair began to walk towards the gate, When he got near the gate, It automatically opened revealing a large 3 story manor made up of Black rocks surrounded by a massive garden with trees on both side of the driveway. As Blair began to walk through the driveway he began to observe his surrounding. Even though the Manor was not as big as Hogwarts, But It's compound was bigger than Hogwarts.

The Manor from inside was in poor shape, it had cracked wooden floor and dusty Furniture. Some of the windows were also cracked. There was dust all over the place. Just by looking at it, one could say that it hasn't been cleaned for years. Blair looked at the condition of the manor for a minute before he began to search for the notes.

The Library was not that big, It was nearly the same size as the Hogwarts Headmaster's office. It only had 2 bookshelves filled with books, placed opposite to each other, a wooden table and chair in the middle with a fireplace behind the chair. The was a black sword placed on the table. Blair ignored it and went straight for the books. Most of the books had no titles on them, apparently, they were personally written by Grindelwald. Blair took 2 books in his hand before sitting on the chair, But not before cleaning it with 'Scourgify'. He placed the sword on the ground and started reading the books.

15 January, Room of requirements.

Blair was sitting on a chair with a sword placed on the table in front of him. This was the sword he found in the Grindelwald's estate library. He was thinking about learning to fight with a sword, As he knew that the war was coming and it would be good to keep a secondary weapon. Even though it was not that effective against wizards, It was better than nothing.

Everyone in the wizarding world knew that the war was imminent. The Death Eaters has began to reveal themselves in public and their number was not small. The guy called Voldemort has crowned himself as the new dark lord. No one knew how he looked like or what his real name was or was he a Halfblood or a Pure Blood, Muggleborn was out of the question as the new dark lord's main goal was the eradication of Muggalborns.

Blair took out the sword from its sheath. He was surprised by the condition of the blade, There was not a single scratch on it. He could see his own cold grey eyes in it. It was probably charmed with an Unbreakable charm. Blair took the sword in his right hand and slashed it towards the table. The sword split the table in half, so easily that Blair couldn't even feel an impact on his hand as the sword cut through the table.

Blair's widened eyes looked at the blade in wonder. Suddenly a horizontal iron pole appeared in from. He looked at the blade than the iron pole before slashing the sword towards the pool. This time it took him a little force to cut through the iron pole.

'Ok, This can work'

16 July, Grindelwald's estate.

Blair was sitting on his chair in the Library staring blankly at the black flames in the fireplace. His mood was depressed as today he visited Olivia. She was unresponsive like always. He wondered when he will be able to cure, He couldn't wait to talk to her again. He was feeling lonely.

After a few hours, he got up from his seat and went outside in the forest and began to practice his spells. He had made a huge practice ground near the manor. It prevented Blair from burning the whole forest down with his cursed Black flames while practicing.

Blair stood in the middle of the ground, while pointing his wand towards the newly transfigured stone human dummies and began to rapidly cast spells towards them. He was doing this every day to increase his spell casting speed. In a duel, two things played an important role, Fast effective thinking and speed in casting spells. If you are able to master both of them, then you are nearly invincible.

After 2 intense hours of practicing spells he stopped and looked at his wand with a frown. Lately, he has been feeling a little resistance from his wand. It was as if the wand was not transferring 100℅ of his magic through it. It was as if the wand has hit a bottleneck. It couldn't transfer more magic from it. It also has begun to heat up after an hour of continuous casting. He put the wand back to his pocket before apparating to Diagon Alley, In front of the Ollivander's shop.

There was no one in the shop. It was in the same condition as Last time he saw it.

"Mister Bradley, What can I do for you"

Ollivander cam from behind the shelves. There were no changes in his looks. Same pale silvery eyes, white skin, and long white hairs. Blair took out his Black sharp wand and placed it on the table.

"It's heating up, whenever I use it for a long time."

Ollivander took the wand and began to look at it closely.

"Hmmm, Mister Bradley wands are supposed to be used for half an hour of repeated spell casting at the most. if you continue to use it without giving it a break it will damage the wand with overheating. My advice is that you should keep a supplementary wand with yourself and interchange them every half an hour.

"And why is my wand not transferring my magic properly, It feels like this wand his holding back my power."

Ollivander's Eyes glimmered

"Ohh, I think you should get a new wand, Mister Bradley. There is a certain amount of magic a wand core could transfer through it at a time. It differs from core to core. This wand's core was made for quick casting, not for casting powerful spells."

After half an hour you could see Blair coming out of the shop, with a long black Wand in his hand.
