Blair was walking through the corridors of Hogwarts at night. He just came from Wizengamots finishing his meeting about Dolores Umbridge's new werewolf limitation law and fortunately, she was unable to pass it as it had 5 votes less than the opposition.

As he was passing through the abandoned classrooms, he saw spell lightning coming out from one of the classrooms. Usually, he would just ignore it as it was a daily occurrence, but instead, he casted a disillusionment Charm upon himself and entered the classroom.

'Let's see what this brat is up to.'

Inside the classroom, Nicholas Prince was standing alone with his wand pointed at the bench in front of him. He was breathing heavily with sweat dripping down his chin, indicating that he must have been practising for a while. There were also dark circles under his tired eyes. There was a book placed on the table with the title 'Books of spells by Miranda Goshawk'. If Blair remembered correctly this book was supposed to be inside the restrictive section of Hogwarts.

'How the hell did this brat manage to get a hold of restricted section book in his second year, I got my hands on this book after Twinky told me about the Come And Go Room'

"Depulso"(Bannisher Charm)

A dim white light shot out of the kid's wand hitting the Bench in front of him. It shifted a little bit backward and that's it. Nicholas didnt give up, instead, he continued to cast the spell, But the results were the same.

Blair continued to watch him silently for 5 more minutes before sighing, Even though the kid was hard working and determined there was no one to point out his mistakes and guide him, So he continued to make those mistakes. He finally decides to reveal himself.

"10 points from Ravenclaw for roaming around the castle past curfew."

Nicholas flinched a bit, probably surprised by hearing his voice. He turned around before hastily picking up the Book on the table near him and hiding it in his cloak. But well Blair had already seen the title so it was of no use.

"Professor, I am sorry I was just hungry as I didn't attend the 'Welcome feast' and wanted to search for the kitchen to eat".

'I can see how you satisfy your hunger,'

"Another 10 points for lying to a teacher..."

"But, ..."

"Enough, Now mind telling me what hell were you just doing. Your wand movements were sloppy, Your incantation was a little off and you lacked intent. You know it hurts my eyes just to watch you cast that spell. I.....,"

Even though Blair was brutally insulting his hard work and his wand casting abilities, Nicholas continued to listen to him carefully, His insults were having no effects on him.

Blair was impressed by it because other kids in his age would just be ashamed or would put their head down looking at the ground. But instead, this brat continued to look at him learning everything possible from his insults.

'A clever one as well, Then why the hell is he making so many amateur mistakes.'

After finishing his insults which were more of a crash course on spell casting. Blair finally turned around to leave, As he reached near the exit He suddenly sent a stunner at the kid without even turning around. Nicholas was caught by surprise and got stunned, Well anyone would be surprised, As no normal teacher would ever send a stunner out of nowhere.

Blair revived the kid before

"CONSTANT VIGILANCE, always keep this in mind kid...and You will be serving a month of detention with me from tomorrow. 8 pm sharp, come in time."

He exited the classroom leaving a speechless Nicholas behind.

After that day Nicholas began to serve his detention with him. Detention was just an excuse, Blair would tech him duelling and Spellcasting, Well most of the time it would be Nicholas getting his ass kicked by Blair. Sirius would also join them sometimes. Nicholas's speed of learning was extremely fast. after Blair pointed out his mistakes, He was able to cast low-level spells in his 2nd or 3rd try. As for the reason for his silly mistakes in the abandoned classroom was that He missed 7 months of schooling in his first year because of him being petrified and he was trying to cast banisher which was 4th-year spell this early without anyone supervision.

Strangely enough, Snape also assigned him detentions, which were before Blair's detention. Make no mistake, Snape giving detentions was normal. What was not normal was that him teaching potions to Nicholas during his detentions. From the moment Blair started teaching in Hogwarts, He had never seen that sadistic, bitter bastard going out of his way to teach a student. And Nicholas was an orphan who was not even in the Slytherin house. Blair decided to ignore it and continued teaching Nicholas. But soon enough Sirius Sr decided to tear the fat lady poster, which caused chaos among the students. Blair had to patrol the castle multiple times as the prefects were prohibited to roam the castle at night. Blair would make Nicholas accompany him during this patrols and would teach him instead of sitting ideally in his office.

6, November, Quidditch ground.

Blair was sitting quietly in the teacher's booth watching Harry's match against Hufflepuffs, It was supposed to be Gryffindors against Slytherins, But their team wasn't ready, or at least that's the excuse they gave. The weather was not good for playing a Quidditch match...Heavy rain made it extremely difficult to see what was in front of them and water was making the brooms quite slippery, players were finding it difficult to get a grip of their brooms. Dumbledore was sitting beside him, observing the games whereas Remus was sitting to his other side.

Blair and Remus had a long talk on the second day of the school. Blair wanted to ask about the reason Remus vanished and closed all contacts with his friends. The answer he got was ridiculous, the reason he gave was that he left because he wanted to get away from everyone. Blair couldn't understand what the hell he was talking about.

"Who do you think will win," Dumbeldore said while still looking at the game.

"Well the chances of Hufflepuffs is slightly higher, Even though Harry is an excellent seeker, the opposite team have Mister Diggory and their chasers are far better than the Gryffindor's. So the Gryffindors can only win if Harry catches the snitch." Blair replied calmly.

"And here I thought you didn't like Quidditch."

"Well, the two brats at home play Quidditch all day long and Harry always requests me to watch his game. So I automatically learned it. "

"Oh...both of the seekers have spotted the snitch."

Blair looked at the two seekers as they flew upwards in 90 degree and disappeared inside the clouds. Everyone's attention was now on the direction towards the two seekers. Beaters, chasers and every player stopped whatever they were playing as the score gap between the teams was huge and only the seekers could decide the outcome of the game.

A few minutes later they saw Hufflepuff's seeker retreating through the clouds, the Hufflepuff team began to try scoring as many scores as they can before Harry catches the snitch. Gryffindors started to play in the defensive strategy, as they knew that they just have to defend until their seeker catches the snitch. The Gryffindor's booth began to cheer loudly for Harry as they had high chances of winning.

"Well, Gryffindo...." Dumbeldore stopped in mid-sentence as he saw a silhouette of Harry falling down through the clouds without his broom, with half a dozen Dementors chasing him. Numerous screams can be heard throughout the stadium as everyone watched him in horror.

Blair quickly stood up and took out his wand to cast a slowing charm. but Dumbledore was faster than him, He wandlessly casted the charm, reducing the pace of falling Harry. The boy fell softly on the ground, Surrounded by the dementors slowly sucking out his emotions and soul bit by bit.

Dumbeldore suddenly apparated towards Harry, surprising the crowd near him as it was impossible to apparate inside the school grounds.

Blair also slowly ascended in the air as Black smoke began to form under him and flew towards Harry leaving a black trail of smoke behind. This was probably the first time he flew in front of everyone but he didn't care.

Even though Blair was little far away from Dumbeldore, He could feel the old man's fury from the distance, The headmaster took out his wand and casted the biggest Patronus he had ever seen. A 10 feet tall Phoenix burst out of his wand, radiating an intense light comparable to 30 normal Patronus'. The Patronus was so strong that it covered the entire 400k square feet of the school ground. Every single Dementor that was near the school ran a mile away from the school grounds. This showed how powerfull Dumbledore was, but people like Malfoy still test his patience. Just because he doesn't seek political power, doesn't mean that he is weak. If he wanted he could have taken over the wizarding world long ago.

Blair descended on the ground, near Harry who was unconscious.

"Is he alright?" He asked worriedly.

"Fortunately, he is just unconscious." There was a rare coldness in Dumbledore's voice. The headmaster was the man who rarely showed any negative emotions, He knew how to keep his emotions in check. Even when the headmaster faced Voldemort there was just calmness and disappointments. But Ever man has his limits and Dumbledore's limit was his students. No matter who they were, or who their parents were, As long as he or she is studying in this school, The old man will protect them and today, it was Harry who got hurt in front him, inside the school grounds. The old man may not have said it openly to Blair, But he knew that he cared about this child. Even when he was placing Harry on the Dursleys' doorstep he knew that how they will treat Harry, But he had to do it for the child's safety. Sometimes the hardest thing and right thing are the same.

Dumbeldore casted a levitating charm on the unconscious Harry before walking through the now silent stadium towards the infirmary. Blair followed him.

After admitting Harry both of them went to Wizengamote to call an emergency meeting.
