58 Battle.

Blair was sitting alone in the staff room, looking blankly at the setting sun through the windows. The meeting just ended, Ginny Weasley who is a pureblood, was taken to the Chambers of secrets, and all of the teachers decided to close the school until the problem is solved. The Hogwarts Express was going to depart tomorrow. Blair wondered if the problem is ever going to get solved. Arthur and Molly were already informed and were on their way.

He came out of stuperior as he suddenly heard the faint sound of the clock indicating that an hour has passed. He got up from his chair and was about to head towards the infirmary to visit Aurora when the staff room door burst opened, revealing a heavily breathing Harry and Ron.

"Mister Potter and Mister Weasley what are you doing roaming alone in the corridors. The headmistress instructed you t...."

"We know the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets," Ron said trying to take in as much air as he can.

Blair's stopped,

"You better be right because I am in no mood to...."

"Follow me" Harry didn't let him finish instead exited through the door, followed by Ron and Blair.

"We first tried to tell Lockhart, But when we reached his office, he was packing up. We tried to take him by force but he ran away quickly.." Ron said rotating a familiar wand in his hand. If Blair remembered correctly it was Lockhart's wand.

"So the first person that came to your mind was that idiot." Blair gave a sigh.

"No it's not like that, It's just that his office was closest to our location," Harry replied to him After that Blair didn't ask any questions.

They reached in Second Floor Girls' Lavatory.

"Are you sure this is the entrance?" Blair asked sceptically. His suspicion was normal, Who in the right mind would believe that the founder of Slytherin house would make the entrance of his private chamber through the girl's lavatory.

"Ok, Harry say something in Parselmouth, as you did before." Harry nodded, He faced the sink in the middle of the lavatory and a hissing sound escaped his lips. he jumped back as the sink disappeared and a large pipe was exposed.

"Now what?"

"Both of you go, call other teachers, I will go down there." Blair looked at the kids.

"I will come with yo...." Harry said.

"NO" Blair cut him off.

"But you will need my Parselmouth abilities down there." Harry protested...

"Ok fine, Ron you should go and call for the teachers." The redhead just gave him a nod." Let's go"

Blair grabbed Harry from behind before jumping inside the tunnel. They didn't notice a blonde hair man secretly looking from behind.

Blair casted a Lumos down, before casting slowing charm on both of them after he saw the floor. They were at least a mile under the castle. It was dark, really dark, Blair couldn't even see his own wand in his hand.

"Lumos Maxima."

His wand shot an illuminating light brightening the entire chamber. Blair began to observe the chamber, it was a cave-like structure with black stone floor and ceiling, There was also an enormous snakeskin at the corner of the chamber.

"Ohh I forgot to inform you, The monster of Slytherin is a basilisk," Harry said while staring at the snakeskin with wide eyes.

"Shit" Blair cursed, He wasn't afraid of the basilisk. He was worried about Harry.." Let's go".

They began to walk forward, Soon they came across a round door with multiple snakes embedded on it. Harry again began to hiss. Soon enough the door opened revealing an enormous hall which was similar in size of the great hall. Snake statues at both the sides of the walkway, With an enormous statue of Salazar Slytherin's face in the very front. What caught Blair's attention wasn't the statue of the snake's or Salazar Slytherin but a small figure, laying on the ground at the very front. Harry rushed towards the figure and he followed him.

"Ginny, don't be dead, please don't be dead." Harry grabbed Ginny's shoulders and turned her over. Her face was white and her body was cold, her eyes were also closed, all these signs indicated that she wasn't petrified.

"Ginny, please wake up," Harry muttered desperately, shaking her.

"She won't wake up." A cold voice came from their left side. Blair quickly turned towards the voice, wand already pointed towards that direction. There stood a black-haired boy leaning against the pillar calmly watching them. The strangest part of him was he was a little blurry from the edge.

Blair had a feeling that he had seen the boy somewhere before, He just couldn't get a finger on it.

"Tom?" Harry sounded a little surprised.

Riddle nodded, not taking his eyes off Harry's face.

"What d'you mean, she won't wake?" Harry said desperately. "Sh..she is not"

"She's still alive," said Riddle. "But not for long."

Blair just looked at him as Harry and the boy exchanged words.

"Are you a ghost?" Harry said uncertainly.

"A memory," said Riddle quietly. "Preserved in a diary for fifty years."

Something clicked Blair, But he wasn't fully sure, So he interrupted.

"Harry who is this boy...."

"It's Tom Riddle, I..." Before he could finish.

"AVADA KEDAVRA" Blair sent a killing curse towards Tom which passed right through the boy. "Harry take Ginny and leave this chamber."

"And you might be the Duelling teacher that little Ginny talked about, A Mudblood who somehow survived the war and now teaches duelling in Hogwarts." Tom sneered as he slowly came in front of Blair unaffected by the killing curse, Ginny's wand in his. He then looked at Harry who was walking away from them taking unconscious Ginny with him and began to hiss which was quite similar to Harry.

"UNCLE BLAIR HE IS CALLING FOR THE MONSTER STOP HIM." Harry suddenly turned around and shouted in fear. But it was too late the Salazar statue's mouth suddenly opened with an enormous basilisk slithering out of it. Blair calmly slashed his wand on the ground and black flames began to spew out of his wand forming a wall between him and the Basilisk.

"No, you won't," Tom said before sending an unknown spell towards the wall of black flames but was instantly blocked by Blair.

"Your opponent is me," Blair said calmly before coming in between the wall and Tom. The wall was the only thing holding the basilisk back from attacking him and Harry, Blair was 90℅ sure that Tom had commanded the basilisk to attack Harry and he wasn't going to let that happen.

"Do you really think that a Mudblood like you can...." Before Tom could finish the sentence Blair rapidly sent the series of bone crushers, Flame cutters and overpowered bannishers towards the boy. But unfortunately, every single one of the spells passed through him destroying multiples pillars and statues behind him. Tom just smiled at him, It was his turn of rapidly sending series of spells towards Blair, Few Killing curse added in it. Blair casted a shielding charm which blocked most of the spells and dodged the Killing curses which passed through the shield.

Blake decided to kill the basilisk first as he couldn't injure Tom. He thrusted his wand towards the black flamed wall as he was dodging the spells. The wall suddenly collapsed slowly forming a basilisk which was the same thickness and height as of the real one standing in front of it. Blair then gave a slash with his wand and the black flamed basilisk directly attacked the real one, trapping the basilak while surrounding it, Burning its skin. Even though basilisks were known for their Magic resistant skins, the black flame's hotness was, on the whole another level.

Tom's eyes widen in surprise, He didn't expect the Mudblood in front of him to know such high-level spells. He quickly tried to stop the black flames but Blair came in between easily blocking his attempts to extinguish the fire. Even though Tom was an exact copy of Voldemort, He was no way near as strong as the real one. He lacked years of experience and spells that the real one created. Make no mistake he was quite strong for a 15-year-old boy, He was comparable to a rooky Auror

The basilisk began to cry in pain. Blair looked at it, risking on an assumption that the basilisk had closed its eyes due to pain and sent an overpowered exploding spell into its mouth exploding nearly half of its face.

"NOOO" Tom shouted in rage before rapidly sending unknown spells towards Blair. Blair again casted a shield charm in front of him. He didn't get the time to Extinguish the Black flames. It continued to Burn the basilisk, Before spreading to it's surrounding, burning anything near it.

As both of them were busy fighting, They didn't notice the black flames burning a book.

"NOOOO" Tom shouted in horror and dashed towards the book as his body suddenly caught fire. Just as he reached near the book he suddenly disappeared. Blair quickly called back the fire before looking at the direction in which Tom rushed. There laid a half-burned book with only TOM.MA...visible on its front cover. Blair picked up the book before slowly walking towards the half-burnt basilisk and extracting all of the remaining horns, venom and teeths.

The reason he was collecting the parts was that they were rare and extremely difficult to find even with a ton of Gallons. He didn't lack Gallons, He would not sell it instead he would store it for later use.

Near the exit, Harry was sitting with a crying Ginny who was repeating only one thing. 'I am going to get expelled.'

"You are not going to get expelled, Get up." He grabbed both of them and was about to fly when he heard the familiar voice of a bird. The Phoenix came flying and sat on his shoulder.

"About time you came, has the old man returned."

The bird just gave him a thrilling chip before apparating all of them to the headmaster's office.
