Alexander will not let go of Lexi's hand even though she pulls as hard as she can. She looks up to him a s see that he is calm and smiles at her. "I will take care of this. Just stay by my side."

They walk slowly towards the podium while flashes of cameras are everywhere. There is a frenzy of questions being thrown into the air. But the most uncomfortable of all is the Old Man Philip's stare to Lexi. He is glaring at her.

The hot blonde just looks at them. She just can't fugure out her expression. Is it amusement? jealousy?

They are now standing in front of Alexander's father. Who doesn't know Philip Lu, the founder of the Lu Group of Companies. The rudeless hand behind the big companies who overthrew small companies. Father of the man she is holding hands with.

Lexi would really just like to run and just go home ans sleep. She is not expecting a very eventful day and night. This is too much for her insignificant life.

Alexander nodded to his father and kisses the cheek of Vanessa. He is still holding her hand when he takes the podium.

"My father, contrary to what you know is not always strict and stern. He just made a joke now." Alexander chuckles.

"I just said this earlier today but yes! I am engaged but no, not to Vanessa Zhang. She is a dear friend." Everyone throws questions.

"Who is your fiancee?"

"Is she your fiancee?"

"What is her name?"

"Why did you decide to be public now."

Alexander ignored the questions. "I am engaged to this beautiful lady beside me. We haven't really talked about our wedding but I will let everyone know. I can assure you though that Lu and Zhang families are stronger that ever. Thank you and enjoy your dinner."

Alexander look at his side and nodded then bodyguards swarm and politely ushered the media out.
