1 Experts

The sounds of fighting rang out from the center of the dungeon taking slow steps he went to watch 'Experts!' turning away he started to run ~Fwssh~ an arrow shot towards his head tilting his head to the side he ran as the arrow impaled itself into a hole in the stone wall there were many such places in the maze the experts were following him for some reason 'Why me?' if there hadn't been anyone chasing him he would of gone to one of his hiding spots but since he was being followed he opted for the boss room 'Left left jump through the hole to the right up...'

the experts were still following 'Yes!' seeing a familiar landmark he knew he was only a few turns from the boss room finally there he hurled himself into the room the experts followed him the pillars started burning the charred black skeleton boss appeared the archer notched an arrow before shooting it at the boss going much faster than before the boss was defeated with one strike

'How can they do that?' running from the boss room he managed to escape, thankfully the experts were no longer following him, arriving in his best hiding spot he stayed there the echoes of fighting rung from all throughout the dungeon 'They must of split up.'

as time passed one of the experts found him 'How?!' the warrior saw the scar on the skeleton marking it as the one that showed the way Suzy was strange saying they couldn't killed it but she was the strongest of them sighing he sheathed his sword and turned around before leaving

an hour passed before he left his spot walking around the maze he knew by heart no monsters remained except for him and the boss the boss would always respawn and the other monsters would gradually be replaced monsters on the surface also seemed to just appear but they were quickly killed unless they were extremely strong for all the others they had to find a dungeon before they were seen already there were two slimes slinking down from the surface

continuing to walk around he saw a wall completely destroyed 'That's impossible!?..' although the outside of the mazes walls had been marks destroying the center of a wall was practically impossible in all cases he knew of only the boss had been able to 'Well they did defeat the boss..' trying to justify it he felt like he had lucked out by being seen be being followed he had been the sole survivor out of the normal monsters

inside the boss room a glowing green orb floated where the boss had been killed a boss was able to respawn but once killed a certain number of times they would disappear the experts hadn't taken it reaching towards it he felt waves of energy coming from it touching it he felt himself growing stronger focusing on absorbing it fully he gained nearly all the power from it he was nowhere near as strong as the boss but he was much stronger than the other monsters perhaps another reason monsters would gravitate towards dungeons if they were lucky this could happen

feeling safer he walked towards the center to wait maybe the experts would come back he hadn't seen it but there were rumors that when a boss was killed something special would happen they hadn't taken the boss essence it might be they were after that?

seeing more and more monsters flooding in he started attacking the spiders and absorbing their essence

spiders were fast and often dangerous unless they grew strong they would be considered as future dangers if there were to many the dungeon would be exterminated if not fully destroyed

as the cap of monsters allowed in the dungeon by the boss was reached he started killing more monsters allowing a single spider in the dungeon

'Why do I feel like I'm in charge of this dungeon I'm not!' laughing at himself he left the center taking the spider with him he knew he could of been killed by the experts there needed to be a monster strong enough to stop them..
