Chapter Twelve: The next couple weeks.

"We should get you a pet." Mig says looking through his phone as we hang out in the living room. "How about a tarantula named Jorgé who just sits on my shoulder and attacks people when I say so... Or a snake... Or a silver fox... Or a bird... Like a hawk, preferably a red tailed hawk." I say looking up from my phone brainstorming ideas for a pet.

"Well if it's a bird, why not a hummingbird?" Miggy asks. "Ah yes, the chihuahuas of the sky." I say giving Mig a 'really' look. Mig blinks at me a few times.... "Ok then." He says going back scrolling through his phone.

"So how was last night's assignment?" I ask while drawing a picture on my phone. "Well we took a pretty nice chunk of territory and I didn't get shot or killed so I'd say successful." He replies.

"I'm surprised that nonno trusts me to stay home alone..ish...." I state redrawing a line for the fifth time. "Would you really try to escape? And plus you have a broken leg, your assistant, and some of the other guys here so it's not like you could escape." He says while watching a video.

"Challenge accepted." I say quietly as I smirk to myself plotting my escape. Miggy rolls his eyes. "I'll just do it when I'm not a cripple...." I say quietly. Mig scoffs and rolls his eyes again. "This should be fun.." He says scrolling through his phone.

"Anyway how's your business doing?" Mig asks. "Well I have Kai and I have been working on the programming and working out bugs and Diego has been doing finance with me while I do research and plan ahead. We figured out how to make holograms and interact with them using special gloves that look amazing... Obviously because I designed how they looked and Kai programmed them After Diego 3-D printed them." I say grabbing my laptop to check my business.

"Were thinking about going and selling this but we want to team up with a few places so we can expand. I'm the basically marketing director so far because since I'm the scientist out of the three of us and I study mainly biology I've been put in charge of studying what people like and or want. I'm also an artist so I design the stuff, I send it to Kai and Diego, Diego balances our finances to see what we can do then builds stuff and Kai programs our stuff with our budget. Our few customers that we have are playing huge amounts for our stuff and surprisingly I found out that Diego is better at math than me which is something I never expected considering my grades... But we're also trying to figure out a way that we can be almost one hundred percent sure that the A.I. won't go evil or anything like that."

Miggy nods, looking up while trying to understand the words I'm saying. "So any names yet for your little robot?" Miggy asks. "Kad.." I say, trying to make my website look more appealing. "Kad?" Miggy asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Kai, Atom, Diego." I say making a list on another page of things we need to fix. "I'm amazed how fast you guys are doing this." Miggy says looking back at his phone. "We're pretty much running off the same brain waves" I laugh.

"And plus Kai has been working on developing this kind of stuff. He just lacked motivation like I lack motivation to do basically anything and when I brought up the idea he got a spark kinda telling him hey this is a thing and then Diego always contributes and is interested in stuff like this, he even started making a soundtrack that will play in the background of our page for while people shop but he's indecisive so we have not make that update to our page yet." I say smiling.

About 3 weeks after meeting my dad, my back and leg were almost completely healed. I had been being taught different things I would need for the future when I took over and I was also being homeschooled.

So a personal teacher came in for a few hours everyday for five days a week, I was allowed to work at my own pace working my way up farther in school. I've had about 15 attempts of people trying to kill me... I was forced to kill a few of them but like oh well. It is what it is.

Kai Diego and I had started expanding our business Atom and Steve Industries™ and teaming up with a few different businesses. I taught Kai how to hack into government facilities and fuck with the lights for entertainment without getting caught and staying under the radar of all there tech and yelled at him every time he almost fucked something up.

"I wouldn't press that button if I were you... Even though I kinda am you, but I'm not... You have my face, I'm just albino and female... But still I wouldn't touch that." I say glancing at the black and yellow tipped haired boy while sitting on his desk.

"And why not?" Kai asked, matching the same amount of sass I was radiating. "Because then you'll be giving access to Reina over your entire computer." I say swinging my almost healed leg over the side of his desk while looking at his LED set up beside me.

"Who the fuck is Reina and how do you know this?!" He says looking at me like I'm crazy. "Meh, details." I say waving my hand.

"I'll tell you eventually but I just have to wait for the right time." I say going back to typing on my computer. Kai shakes his head and goes back to programming and designing.

"Ey, D." I say looking over at my other triplet. "Yes A.B.?" He replied. "Did you finish building the 3-D printer?" I asked the brown and red haired boy. "I don't see why we can't just buy one?" Kai interrupts. "Because what the government doesn't know can't hurt them... Plus we're trying to do this anonymously remember." I say plugging in a few wires into my computer. "Oh but you'll 'anonymously' buy all the supplies off the black market and have them delivered here. But yes it's done." Diego says in a somewhat sarcastic and annoyed tone.

"You do realize it has to go through like 15 people and p.o. boxes and addresses then it goes to a friend of mine who sends it to where I say to." I reply. "How do you know that 'friend' of yours won't try to kill you?" Diego and Kai ask. "Mutual understanding." I reply instantly.

"Whatever you wanna say smurf." Diego says. "Smurfette thank you very much." I replied, narrowing my eyes at him. Diego rolled his eyes and just went back to his work space. "And plus Smurfette has blonde hair, my hair is very clearly much lighter than hers." I say running my hand through my hair.

"Whatever." Diego says rolling his eyes. "Anyways." I say playing with the blue in my hair. "Have we figured out how to make A.I. not go bat shit crazy?" I asked while grabbing a notebook from my bag.

"Well we could dumb it down a bit and make it more like Google home or stuff like that but way more complex." Kai says.

"I mean I guess, but Atom and Steve Industries™ will expand over the next couple years... Kinda like all the other companies just better. Plus we started making phones and watches but after we've pretty much perfected them we need to make teh smart homes even if we already starting to get the basic design down..." I say while typing stuff down in a secret folder but acting like I'm working. The file was of something important but was going to be used for a much much later occasion.

"So how much longer until my room is done here?" I ask. "Probably about a week and a half considering you're moving in behind the guys' backs. And I don't see why you don't just share a room with Kai and I." Diego says.

"We are 14 and as a full on teenager I need my space and also next school year I'm going into 11th grade and an doing dual enrollment with a college. So I'll need quiet time to study for my highschool and college work." I reply. "You could have just said you were gonna sneak guys in, you didn't need to come up with excuses." Kai said while trying to fix a few bugs on our website.

I stop and glare at Kai for a minute then go back to typing. "Oh ya I forgot to mention, we got to an all boys school so that's where you'll be going so we can protect you." Diego spoke and said like it was something normal. "An all boys school?." I question raising an eyebrow.

"It's a private school and after I hacked into the system you'll get a uniform custom made for you, it'll be like ours.. Just more feminine." Kai said. "Oh well... As long as I get to piss people off." I say shrugging. "And since Kai and I are 2 grades below you'll have most of your classes with either Rafael or Hiro." Diego added. I hummed as a response

"What do you even want to be?" Kai asked. "I could also ask you two the same." I reply "Ok fine we'll tell you after you respond." Kai said relping back with the same teasing energy I am giving off. "Well I want to be something that has to do with fucking with biology so either a biotech or generic engineer, and on top of that as a side a business owner and an author." I reply.

"What about you two?" I asked. "IT programer." Kai replied. "Designer or something along those lines probably. I mean we still are a part of a mafia so...." Diego said. "You have a point.. I'm supposed to take over nonnos gang when he dies or something." I say rolling my eyes.

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket, as I try to open a message from Miggy a bullet passes by my head and hits a desk. "Fuck!" I yell ducking and going over to a spot to hide. Kai and Diego get up and cover themselves. My phone started ringing and I picked up

"What's happening?!" Miggy asks over the phone.

"Ya know, another person trying to kill me." I reply.

"Give us five." He said as I heard the car door slam as he hung up.

Everyone else on the property teamed up And in the matter of 7 minutes there was a dead guy and 2 men and a woman were tied and being brought into the mansion for questioning and for some other stuff. "One more week. Just one more week." I say to myself in my head.
