15 "True side unveiling"

Elle's POV

Everything is going smoothly from the last couple of weeks after the incident . Daniel oppa called me to know whether everything's alright or not . First I lied , but due the slip of tongue I told him everything . He was very furious and wanted to come to Seoul but I restrained him . He used his connections and tried his best to make sure that Sun yon and her hired thugs get arrested . Same thing happened , Sun Yon is behind the bars . One day her father , the vice principal of the university, called for me in his office . He said sorry and begged for his daughter's life . I saw myself in him when I begged for my life but nobody ever spared it . I said to him " sir with due respect , your daughter is a woman too . Do you think what she did to another woman was right? What if I did the same thing to your girl? " ? " You are right . I am sorry for what she did to you but her future will get destroyed . Please I beg you to tell your brother to withdraw the case . I promise she'll never do anything to you again "he said . " I'll think about it . Now bye".

I never imagined that someday , some people will help me , protect me and embrace me . Never once in my life I felt loveable , but here I am finding and making new pure relations . Was this life always this much beautiful . I thought to myself while taking a shower . Some new things I'm experiencing along with engulfing down the past .

"Should I talk to Mirae or not ?" Um!!! she was my first friend in Seoul but she betrayed me just because of her own selfishness . Things are going pretty awkward with her . I neither call her nor sit with her and vice versa . This is making me uncomfortable . Ok let's give her a chance , I've decided I'll talk to her today and make things back to normal . Apart from everything , Park Soo Jin is acting like my shadow or my shield . He's behaving like my bodyguard , he follows me everywhere around . He sits with me , eats with me , texts me and even takes a bus with me . People are getting suspicious about us but that man just doesn't give a damn .

I saw Bo Mirae sitting in the corner of the third row , I moved towards her and sat beside her . " Hi , my name is Kim Elle . What's yours?" I opened the convo by introducing myself and making her feel comfortable . She looked at me with a puzzled expression and I passed her a warm smile . I could see the guilt her eyes held on . I reached for her hand and said "past is past , let's not cling on something we've already lost . Forget everything and let's dive in the felicity of the present and dig as many memories as we could ". "Your friend is right . Don't ditch her again because now I've got her back " Soo Jin said out of nowhere . "Where did you come from ?" I asked him . " From my house " . " I thought you came from my house" I jokingly taunted him . All of us laughed and the atmosphere got lighted again .

Time lapse~

It's been raining for two hours . I love rain but the lightning it scares me . This lightning holds the aura of that day . Don't remember that day , don't dig your childhood darkness .Control Elle be brave .

BUZZ~ my phone vibrated .

Jin : HEY , what's you doing ? Wanna grab a coffee in this beautiful rain ?

Me : No thank you . I just drank one cup .

Jin : Can I call you ? I wanted to discuss today's assignment .

I called him after this message . " O nae (yes in Korean) " . " Can you explain the third point which sir told us ?" " Ok listen'.

DING DONG~

"Was this your bell ?" "Yes , I wonder who came this late at night". "Don't open the gate . I am half an hour distant from your house just wait until I come " Jin said . "Ok boss " .

It's Kyung Seok oppa I saw on the monitor . I opened the door and let him in . " Oppa what are you doing here ? Are you ok? You seemed like a bit drunk" I asked him . " No , I'm fine .I just had a drink with my chingoo (friend)" . "Araso (right) . But you here? At this late in the night?"

"I was passing by and I didn't have an umbrella so I was getting soaked up . I thought maybe I could rest here until the rain stops" he explained . " Okay you can stay here . Just feel like home . I'm gonna sleep now ."

I came to my room and grabbed my phone . It showed 15 missed calls from Jin . I called him back , he picked it up without any delay . " Who was it ?" he questioned . "Kyung Seok oppa " . " Don't open the door for him Elle ". He literally shouted at me . "I know you hate him but he's like my brother". " No Elle he's not brother . You don't understand this . No matter what, just don't let him in until I reach there ". " But I already di..." he cut me off and started to yell again . " Elle what've you done . Go into your room and lock yourself in it . And for god sake don't open the LOCK".

My room doors handle cracks open by Kyung Seok and he enters my room . " Do you need anything? " I asked him while my call was still connected . " Yes , I need you " Kyung Seok said in the most croaky voice which gave me chills . "Hello , hello!!! Elle , hello!!!! answer me Elle " Jin shouted my name again and again over the phone . But something made me numb . That voice gathered me around with darkness , chills and fear .
