19 "Strange feelings"

Elle's POV

Daniel oppa is coming over with his girlfriend tonight . Let's make a special dinner for them .

"Hello , Jin" I called Soo Jin . "Hi , Elle what's up?" . " I need to buy some groceries for tonight's dinner," I told him . " Wow , so finally you are inviting me for a dinner party" he surprisingly expressed his happiness . "No Jin . Actually, my brother is coming over with his girlfriend . Don't be so happy you are not invited" I crushed his surprise by telling him the truth . "Yeah right . Whatever! I also don't care" he showed me a grumpy attitude . " Why would you call a person 'whom you are not going to invite' ? " he sarcastically asked . "If that person wants to join my dinner party then he has to come with me to a grocery store" I wanted to cheer him up . " When that person has to come?" his mood got enlightened . "Meet me at the supermarket near our daily bus meet up spot" . " There in fifteen minutes madam" he replied with full enthusiasm as if I had awarded him with a prize .

"Oi!!!" someone shouted from behind . I turned back and saw Soo Jin running toward me with a trolley . "Hey , slow down . You will fall " . " So what are you going to cook?" Jin asked .

"I am going to cook beef steaks with mashed potatoes, boiled peas and rice . For the starter I am gonna make Russian salad . After dinner I will serve a tasty ginger tea . And as for the sweet I will buy chocolate and vanilla ice cream " I told him about my cooking plan . His mouth became wide open in shock . "No way . You can not cook this much . I don't believe you . You are exaggerating. Right?" I don't know if he mocked me or if he was genuinely surprised . " Hey ! shut up . Don't mock me . I can cook this much" I told him proudly . "Let's see then . If you will cook all this then I'll cook for you too for one week" he bet me . " Deal done . Don't back off . Okay?" . " Done madam . No backing off "

"I forgot to tell you one thing," I said . " What is it?". " You are going to be my cooking assistant . My partner , my helper" I said with a cute smile. " That's not fair . I am your guest " . " Please!!!" I made a cute sad face for him to agree . "Ok ok . Stop it , you look ugly cute" he complimented me and insulted me at the same time . "What do you mean by ugly cute?" " Nothing , let's hurry up . We have work to do" he said .

We went to every single aisle and bought every ingredient we needed .

(At home)

"Let's start our mission . Fighting!" I said with full power like I am going to fight a war . Well actually it is war for me . After I moved here I never cooked a proper meal for me . But today I am gonna do it after a long time .

Jin and I tied our aprons and started our work . I ordered him to pass me the ingredients and wash the veggies . He is quite a help .

I was mixing spaghetti with the fruits for the salad . I told Jin to pass me the cream . While passing he accidentally slipped a little and the whole cream got poured on my head . "Sorry , sorry , sorry"

he said while cleaning my eyes . I gave him a strong glare . "Dude , what have you done!" I shouted a little at him . "Sorry Elle . So sorry . Please forgive me" he said with such an apologetic tone that it melted my anger in a few seconds . "It's ok . Just run and buy the cream , I need it " I told him with a sweet gentle voice . As in giving him assurance that I am not mad at him .

While he was away , I completed my whole cooking chores . He came back in thirty minutes completely drenched in water . "What happened?"

"Rain happened," he replied . "Come here pabo(idiot) " I told him . "It's not my fault that the rain took place," he replied . "Then why didn't you remember to take an umbrella with you". " Yeah , right".

I grabbed a towel for him and started to dry his hair .His hair is so soft and a little curly but this curliness suits him. What am I doing? I am touching his hair , I am feeling the softness of his hair . Basically , it is looking like I am caressing his hair. Stop it Elle , come to your senses. After a while , I got conscious of my actions and said "Sorry , I didn't realize". He was looking at me with disbelief as if he is thinking that I am not Elle . " It's okay . I felt good actually" he replied . The situation became awkward after a long silence . "I'll bring hair dry and some clothes". That was strange . I don't know if my touch was strange or my instincts were strange . But I didn't even think before proceeding . Am I developing some feelings for him? No I cannot . It was nothing , just a natural action.

I brought my black sweatshirt with black wide trouser . "Here you go . It is the only non girlish outfit I have got". "Thank you". "Mentioned".

They have arrived . I opened the door, welcomed them in and said greetings to each other . I introduced Jin to Daniel oppa and Nora noona (older sister) . "I have met you before," Jin said to Daniel oppa . "I don't think so . I don't live in Seoul".

Jin's POV

I remember this face , but where have I seen him before? Right , he is Kyung Seok's friend . Wait , what? He is Elle's brother who saved Kyung Seok from getting jailed . He came here to save him again . No way , I can't let this happen . But Elle is his sister . This time he'll definitely protect his sister I am sure . Because nothing more important than a family .

"Let's eat first," Elle said . We ate dinner and had a healthy talk with each other . Dinner was superb , Elle did a great job . "Elle good job" I complimented her . "Thanks Jin" . "Indeed Elle , dinner is very tasty" Maria said . Elle thanked all of us for our lovely comments . Her dimples grew deep with happiness . Finally , after a long time I have seen her smile .

I took my leave after the dinner because I knew she is in safe hands now.
