When I entered my father's office I saw my mother standing by the table where he sat, HS was looking down and not making eye contact with anyone. She seemed to me like a guilty person waiting for her punishment. I was not very confident as well so I too walked in closer and stood just a few steps away from the table before speaking. 

"Greetings to Father. I hope you are feeling well." I had nothing else to say so I just simply made a random statement to which I was sure I was not going to receive any answer but surprisingly he replied to me that day. I was struck when I heard him say that. 

"I have been well lately, Thanks for asking." I looked at him dumbfoundedly as if I had heard the most alarming news of my entire life. He then calmly looked away leaving me in a messed up state of mind.
